They have the BEST pork dumplings that I have ever had! I prefer them steamed but they have the perfect ratio to meat and dough and they must include some of the sauce inside because they are juicy and delicious even without the sauce, which I also love. Their sesame chicken is also fantastic! read more

the quality has declined. I ordered Moo Shoo Pork and the pork is now rubbery. Also it would been nice to provide a real small white rice. looks like I will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

My friend and I came here after doing a paint and sip. The food was delicious. Service was amazing. Even though we came last minute the lady still insisted to serve us and didn't feel like a burden. Ambiance is cute, would definitely come here again. read more

Asian Grill - Dinner combos - Chinese Near Me - Ridgewood, New Jersey

Only take out. Good food & service. Ridgewood staple for decades Always open. Delivery available. read more

Nice staff and timely delivery. Food was good, could have had more spice and or flavor, but overall the chicken and Brocoli was good as was the vegetable lo mein. Although I do wish the veggie linein had more veggies. Would have happily given 4 stars if the restaurant was upfront about the 2$ service fee for delivery. I called to order, left the driver a tip on my card, and no one mentioned there was a surcharge for delivery. Not thrilled about a hidden fee. They are one of the few places that are open on Monday & deliver. Will try the food again. read more

Asian Grill - Chicken D1. Broccoli with Chicken Combo D17. Lo Mein with Vegetable Combo - Chinese Near Me - Ridgewood, New Jersey

Very average food. Not great and not bad either. About what you would expect. Good portions are good. Tried a few random apps to see what they were about and nothing really stood out. Would try a few other main items next time just to get a proper feel for the place. read more

Solid Chinese takeout restaurant. Food quality is above average with real protein ingredients. No questionable meats like most other takeout spots. This house Mei fun was really good and I would order it again and again. Shrimp are good size (half dollar) and vegetables taste fresh. It's not greasy, and not too salty or full of too much MSG. Flavors are well balanced. Delivery has been pretty timely and efficient the 2 times that I've ordered. I'd say this is a highly respectable Chinese takeout spot. I'd like to try more of their other dishes. read more

Asian Grill - a plate of noodles and shrimp - Chinese Near Me - Ridgewood, New Jersey

Absolute best pork dumplings in Northern NJ!! Trust me, I've tried them all!!! Everything is so good but get the dumplings!!

Stumbled across this hidden gem and went for lunch. It is a very small intimate location, the food was great and the lunch special is 10$ which let's be honest we don't see too often anymore. I had the chicken and broccoli and my friend had general tsos, both were delicious and a fair portion. Will definitely be returning and looking forward to trying a new item!! read more

Great deal for lunch specials. Love the hot and sour soup and the wontons they give you with the soup are better than usual. Most of the lunch entrees seem pretty good. Not much atmosphere or heat in the winter. read more

Probably the best General Tso's Chicken I've had. It was cooked perfectly with the batter not being hard or too soft, and the sauce stood out by having somewhat of slightly fruity taste to it. I wouldn't be surprised if the chefs at Asian Grill have a secret ingredient that gives the sauce a slightly fruity enhancement, and it makes it so much more delicious than the usual kind from other places. However, the white rice unfortunately was not very good. The best way I can describe it is that it tasted like something that's been left in the freezer for six months. I wish the rice was better because that is the only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars. read more

So this is a place I had eaten at many times as a kid and had no memories one way or another but after seeing amazing reviews on a delivery app, I placed and order wow what a pleasant surprise. Food was across the boards excellent. All of it arrived by delivery fast and it was hot and fresh. Highlights included the Chicken and Lettuce Wraps and the little bite-sized Dumplings. We also really liked the Chow Fun which was perfectly cooked and a big portion. If I had to find any complaint at all, perhaps there was a little too much sauce on the Sesame Chicken as it was a tad big soggy (a common issue with Chinese takeout) but it was delicious nonetheless. I will gladly order again! read more

I found this restaurant from Grub-hub! As a serious Chinese food lover from New York City, it does not disappoint. The shrimp with walnuts in a coconut style sauce was delicious!! It was made with the right amount of sauce over the shrimp. The vegetable lo-mien was fresh and well made. I have yet to eat at the restaurant located in Ridgewood but plans are in the works. For New York style Asian fusion food, this is your place in New Jersey. read more

Pad Thai, general tao, hot and sour soup, eggplant in garlic sauce. Everything was bland, bland, bland.

Solid Asian fare for take out. We enjoy the Walnut Shrimp with lightly steamed broccoli & brown rice. Cold sesame noodles are good, as is the wonton egg drop soup. Wonton skins are thin & delicate with a savory pork filling. The soup could do with some minced scallions, but is nicely seasoned and is very satisfying. Looking forward to trying more dishes. read more

Good Chinese food, decent price, nice service. The food we order is crispy boneless duck, grilled salmon, shrimp and walnut, and fried rice. Overall, food was good and after eating I realized I should have taken some pics. Sorry yelpers, next time! On weekdays, they have about 15 dishes on the lunch special menu for $8 and it includes soup or salad and egg/spring rolls. They also have dim sum but only early hours on weekends. There is an open sushi bar. They do take outs as well. Service is nice and fast but then again my family and I were there off peak hours so I don't know how it is during lunch and dinner hours. Because it is located in a stripped center, there is parking lot available. I totally recommend this place and am definitely coming back. read more

Our family dinner ordering Chinese and we decided to try Asian Grill. We got General Tso's and Moo Shu Chicken. The food and delivery was on point and we'll be happy to order from Asian Grill again! read more

Excellent food. With or without this stupid virus your food is great and we can't wait to order again soon! Be safe, be healthy and thank you for taking care of us. read more

The worst Chinese food I've ever had. The cream cheese wontons were hard and stale. The hibachi chicken was gross! Small, thin, maybe 10 hard pieces of chicken. I would never order from here again. read more

I've been coming here since I was about 12 years old, and as a Ridgewood resident, this has always been my go-to. On New Year's Eve, my girlfriend and I ordered in, and stashed our leftovers in the fridge for a later day. On Wednesday, the 2nd, we took out our leftovers to enjoy for lunch, when my girlfriend said "There's a bug in my food". Naturally, I walk over expecting to see some sort of gnat, or tiny fly, that may have incidentally ended up in the food. Instead, I see a dead roach (not a full blown cockroach, but a roach none the less) in the bottom of the dish. As disgusting as this was, I immediately went to Asian Grill to settle this issue. I showed them the roach, and videotaped the entire encounter in case there should be any incident. I demanded and got my money back for the entirety of my order, and gave them back their roach-filled platter. Despite this, the health department will still be getting a report once I get around to it later today. When I did go in, the first thing I was offered was for them to cook me a new dish. Needless to say, this was the last thing I wanted. When I asked for my money back for the entirety of my order, they made me wait for a few minutes while they dug through the computer archives to confirm that it was $36 as I had told them. Sadly, there are people who try to profit off a situation like this, but I was not one of them and do not feel as if they cared too much about calming my displeasure with the filth of the situation, rather they just wanted me out of there and to dispose of the "evidence", so to say. Although, as many pointed out to me on social media, this "could happen anywhere", it is still absolutely despicable and quite possibly the worst possible outcome of ordering food. Also, I'm not an expert, but I do not believe roaches exist in solitude, begging the question of what else is going on in that restaurant. I am sad to never be going to my favorite Chinese food establishment in Ridgewood ever again, but I hope that others read this and perhaps prevent themselves from encountering a similar experience. By far the worst experience I have ever had with prepared food in my life. read more

Makes me puke in my mouth reading all these non asians reviewing an Asian restaurant that tries to cook everything under the sun. I'm sitting here eating dim sum that tastes absolutely foul and wondering how long it takes before the diarrhea kicks in. This restaurant has a whole lot of balls boasting a menu containing korean, chinese, Japanese, and vietnamese items?!?!?!?! Might as well add american, french Spanish and Italian to the menu while your at it. Dissapointing is the nicest word I can use for this place. To be honest this restaurant is not even close to being worth a single star. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this garbage hole of a restaurant. read more

Good balance of price/portions/quality. The restaurant itself is decent to eat in if you wish to, though its better suited to parties of 4 or fewer. It's a popular eat-in spot for the high school seniors if that means anything to you. read more

Asian Grill is the best Chinese food in Ridgewood. Period. Obviously, if you are looking for a Dine-In type joint, this isn't for you, but as far as take-out goes Asian Grill is top drawer. Great Fried Rice and Chicken dishes. I recommend the Spicy Chicken with Peanuts. read more

Probably one of the better Chinese take out places I have ever been to. I love bamboo house in ridgewood and closer to home Hongkong in fair lawn. Asian grill has great teriyaki chicken & Shrimp. I love shrimp in broccoli. Good dumplings and wonton soup. read more

Asian Grill will always have a special place in my heart. We loved this place as high schoolers and I still get it from time to time. Some of my friends theorize that their portions have gotten smaller over the years, and I do believe there was a stretch when that was true, but I got delivery this past weekend and was stuffed after my General Tso's meal. And of course their cream cheese wontons are delicious. Be sure to use the soy sauce they give you on the side, because it is really good. If you've never eaten here before, Asian Grill sits at a spot that is slightly less dirty than your usual dirty Chinese food. The fried rice is a little bit different (not your usual yellow rice with red pork), and the General Tso's is less crispy/breaded, but good nonetheless. read more

It's takeout chinese in a restaurant setting with some basic American-Japanese food as well. The food is not amazing by any stretch but there are worse choices. The portion sizes are quite small however. read more

Always a quick option for reliable food. The chicken can be a bit hard sometimes, but usually very good, typical American-Chinese food. There are dinner specials that includes the meal and a ride and spring rolls, a great cheap deal for dinner, with usually enough for leftovers. read more

It's ok. Pretty decent food. I'm not excited, and I'm not upset. That is all I got on this one folks.

I happened to be waiting around in Ridgewood last weekend while my daughter was getting her hair done. I saw this across the street from where I was parked and picked up dinner. I was thrilled with how amazing the food was! Eggrolls were amazing (not at all greasy), everything we ordered was tasty -- some of the best chinese food we've had! read more

This place....eh I dont know. I would say this is probably the best option for Chinese food in Rwood, but even at that, I dont think its great Chinese food. Not much else to say really. Its OK, its definitely not bad, and again, is the best option, but I wish there was a better bet in Rwood considering the number of Chinese options. read more

By far the best Chinese food in the area, sesame chicken can't be beat

New ownership! Great place. Great costumer service. very affordable but more importantly, GREAT FOOD!

Great food and very affordable. I work in Ridgewood and I go to Asian Grill with my coworkers at least once a week. The employees are very friendly and make it a welcoming environment to go to on our lunch break. read more

Feh, not overly thrilled. The chicken with eggplant was nice, but not too interesting or tasty. The rice was dry. However, the Wonton Eggdrop Soup was good, and the Wonton wrappers were superb, making for a light and tasty wonton, not too doughy. However, the crunchy noodles that go in the soup were stale. There wasn't really a waitress, just an airhead student who didn't know what was going on, or why she was there. I wouldn' t recommend for going out to dinner, but their takeout should be okay. read more

Gotten takeout lunch a couple of times and always good. Wish they had an orange chicken lunch special though

Great place for the 5 stock trading guys across the street. You deserve 5 stars because you always make food quick hot and tasty!

My wife and I stopped in here before the tree lighting. It was a little sketchy looking on the outside (in ridgewood standards), but we pushed on. The seating area was confusing because there really isn't a waiter. Over all the food was good, but I agree with Ryan S, it's not for eating in. read more

Not the best looking but really great food. As a person who doesn't eat red meat or poultry, they have many options for me to eat and even have fake chicken available (that tastes great!). The veggies in their dishes are very fresh and not overcooked like other Chinese food places do. Food is great as both take out or dining in. Great food overall! And they have the best cream cheese wontons! read more

I've never eaten anything here I haven't liked. I especially enjoy the Cream Cheese Wantons, Lo Mein, and Sesame Chicken. They have a decent amount of vegetarian options. Service is always friendly. They also have great lunch specials. read more

I'm giving 4 stars for the cheese wontons... Im hooked; they're the best!! The other food is okay; they're a bit expensive..
