I was in the mood for Chinese and gave this place a try. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli lunch special. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in and was greeted and paid and left. When I ate the meal it was really tasty! I enjoyed the meal! I had a good experience.

Chicken Teriyaki

Was pleasantly surprised about how much we liked Look See. Got takeout on a Sunday night. The chicken teriyaki was pretty tasty and not greasy at all. Has a nice grilled taste with NJ ya I'd pepper. The miso soup was good. The steamed pork dumplings were standard takeout style so obviously they were delicious. Delivery took foreverrrrr (well past the estimated time) so they get dinged a star.

Look See is currently my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area and has been consistently ranked as one of the best too! I have been going to Look See for over 30 years with the previous and current owners. I have always been very happy with how good their food always is! ... Be sure to try their delicious specialties, (or you'll be missing out on their authentic Chinese dishes such as, Chef Wang's Chicken (aka Chef Wang's Chicken Chinoise), Triple Fragrance, Jumbo Shrimp in Ginger & Scallion Sauce, Look See Singapore Mei Fun and many more! Our server the past 3 times eating dinner there has been Lu-Lu and she is such a pleasure to deal with and to talk with. Feel free to asked for her!

Shrimp with veggies lunch plate

A excellent Chinese restaurant. I love their crispy beef! I wish their crispy chow mein noodles were the large flat type as I like to nibble on that type while waiting for the meal. I like their lunch options and am including pictures of the lunch I'm having today . Yum!

Fried Pork Dumplings(6)

Best Quality Chinese. These 3 Items were $51.55, but worth it. Easy Online Ordering & Always Ready for Pickup Quick.

General Tso Chicken

I ordered the general tso lunch combo- it was bland, tasteless. There was not a lot of rice and the chicken was swimming in the sauce.

I live 5 minutes away and always have to reheat it. Number 2 is the lack of sauce and spice, nothing is remotely spicy and you need to get a baby spoon to maybe get a scoop if sauce off the bottom. Number 3 is their prices charged are higher than their menu. Almost not noticeable but I noticed, just print new menu's if you raised your prices, pretty bad business practice. Outside area is very dark as is the restaurant, need some lighting.

A lovely establishment, with a wonderful ambiance... these imperialists have the vibe game under wraps. Dimmed lights knocking away the potentially self shaming and self fattening frights of over ordering. The mellowness sets a scene that must be accompanied by way too much food. Like way too much. Old boomers grumble and mumble, but instead they should be happy. Happy that the tireless rat race has concluded. That the rats got the cheese. You missed out... but don't be jealous of those who didn't. ~ You know what you do control? You control what you are ordering off the menu tonight. Oh man doesn't it all sound so good right now? I could just rip off my tongue and throw it against the wall right now I'm starving just thinking about it. Egg roll, boneless spare ribs and dumplings for the app. All for me. Imperial has a nice egg roll, nice and crisp and good filling. Chicken with broccoli at massive proportions, lo mein and fried rice both scraped off the roof of my mouth as my eyes couldn't deny my taste buds long enough for the heat to settle. Very good fried rice. That is always nice to see. Such a simple meal but you can really tell the difference when it's a very good one. You know what I like? A lot of egg in my fried rice. Fry me up. More cholesterol the better... your doctor is lying to you. Just go work out. Slightly elevated levels are good for the muscles. Big muscles. Big dumplings. Big dumplings make big muscles. Imperialism is like a mishapened circle, an obscurely malformed oval that continues to expand until it is occupied by all under one umbrella - ella - ella - aye - aye - ayayayayayayyy! Anyways yea get the blood moving and the bum bouncing here. It's a good option, not the best around but good times I can promise ya that. Dr. Linguini Bonotucci, signing off. And the chicken cheese egg roll fun? Authentic Chinese fare, no, but authentic suburban cuisine, you betcha. It's been some time since I enjoyed the delightful burn of complementary mustard on crunchy complementary noodles. Waldwick is quieter than some of its neighbors in normal times and given that it was Christmas I didn't know if anything would be open. Very glad to discover Red Bowl; from observing interactions with several regulars it seems the locals are already on board.

Typically I am in the ever-most agreeance with Billy Shake; however, this is a law that applies to some but not all. This law should not be applied here. Master of nothing. And Jack of a farcical fusion trade. The epitome of, yea that was an OK dinner. The Thai food is bland, the Chinese food is underwhelming, the sushi is actually fine. I grew up spoiled off of the well-rounded juggernaut named Jumbo of Airmont who did EVERYTHING well. Iykyk sista. Red Bowl couldn't even fry their rice. Could never chicken their broccoli. Wouldn't dare to lace their lo mein. Which is a shame, because sometimes you want a dynamic dinner of all the above: Chinese and sushi and thai but oh my the sharks out of the water here. Broke through the waves but just can't walk on the land - Even though it so would like to. Evolution takes millenniums. And God chose the homosapiens, go complain to the aliens. These fusion factories often pry on the weak families who can't decide between the three, but it's clear as a mist-less day... they whiff hard at the tee. You will be crestfallen if you appreciate every dinner as your last. If you don't mind an average meal, then I and this review are not for you. Don't be abashed by your carelessness, we all have different purposes in life. Linguini's is just a higher purpose, and with that I tap out here... to never return.
