This small pub is located in a strip center next to a Shell gas station in Sun City. This place is actually popular with Sun City residents and they like to drive their golf carts here. You might be glad to know this place does have a full bar, however, I was disappointed in the fact that they have a very limited craft beer selection which is odd for a pub. No frozen drinks either. The interior is relatively small with 8 4-tops and several two tops and equipped with 5 flatscreens. They do have a smaller adjacent room which could be used for private parties. All the food pictured in this review was pretty decent and the pizza was actually larger than I expected, especially for the money. The service was good and I have to admit that lunch for $58 without tip for three people including four beers is very reasonable. There's no dessert on the menu, but it's worth inquiring about since they have it occasionally. For the money, this place is worth four stars.

Lively neighborhood pub with good sandwiches, salads and burgers. Pizza cooked in a pizza oven. Not too many patrons but service is spotty regardless. Tuna salad was tasty and ample n my sandwich. Chef salad was also very good. Other sandwiches - Ruben and Burger ordered by friends thought they were good. Recommend.

Great little pub in the heart of Sun City. I was born and raised an Iowa girl, so the Iowa State/Iowa decor always grabs my attention. Being one of the very few places to eat in Sun City, just expect the place to be busy as it was on our visit this week. However, even when the tables are full, they do turn fairly quickly but it's always fun to belly up to the bar or one of the long tables and meet some new friends! The food is what you'd expect from bar & grill food - nothing special, but consistently good. We have found that the pizzas are one of the best things on the menu and especially love the Wrigley's pizza. In fact, we have now had it two times in one week. Given the great location, solid service and food, it will continue to be one of our go-tos when in Sun City.

Sunday omlette with biscuit is really awesome. That is the only thing we have eaten here. Good food and service! Parking is OK in the lot.

That hint of chocolate bitterness sneaking in like it has secrets it's not ready to share. Strong, confident, and completely unbothered -- the kind of drink that doesn't raise its voice because it doesn't have to. No unnecessary frills. No overcomplicated theatrics. Just a perfectly crafted cocktail that respects tradition but adds a little dark, sultry wink. It lingers just long enough to make you lean in for another sip. 10/10. Grumpy never tasted so good -- and I wouldn't mind getting into trouble with it again. The bar itself? Classy without being stuffy. The kind of place where you can show up dressed up or dressed down and still feel like you belong. Dim lighting, great vibe, zero pretension. I'll absolutely be back, service was stellar. No food items this time, but definitely will be back!

I opted for the pub burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had bacon on it and was served with a side of beer cheese. It was very tasty and I loved dipping mine in the side of beer cheese. Yum! I ordered onion rings on the side and they met my expectations. Ticked away in a little complex without 79 visibility along with a couple of other places that don't seem to get much traffic either. Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. Sad to see they will be closing their doors but hopefully the owner has something else up his sleeve as they were onto something with this place.

It was cooked well, if a little too much breading for my taste. The chips were really good. The tartar sauce was different than I am used to, a little runny and pink tinged, but it was good. The mushy peas were yummy and added an authenticity to the dish. I didn't really use the curry sauce that also came with the dish. To me it doesn't go with fish or chips. I did taste it, and the flavor was great.

Lunch special - 2 of 3 - select beers, slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza or house or Caesar salad. Also happy hour special was $1 off select items. Bartender initially took our order but then shift changed and another person took over. She was covering tables in another area. Salad and pizza delivered at the same time. Pizza slice was NY style - very thin and cold be folded up to eat vs knife and fork. Decent amount of pepperoni which was tasty. I prefer a crispy pizza crust so found this awkward to eat. Knife and fork provided. House Salad was just ok. Black olives, mushrooms, cucumbers, shredded mozzarella and croutons clustered on top and lettuce underneath. Salads obviously premade. Mushrooms were dried out and slices of cucumbers had shriveled edges. Greek salad looked better with fresher ingredients but wasn't included in the lunch special. There was more variety in the overall menu but didn't have time for a lengthy lunch stop. Second server worked with prices and lunch special offerings with us. Beer was $7-10 per pint glass so lunch special at $10.99 w select beers is a good deal. Not a priority to go back between parking hassle and food was just ok.

At the time this establishment was built, we lived nearby and were extremely excited to have an Irish option so close. We've been several times and enjoy ourselves a lot. I will warn anyone reading this far in, though, that this isn't the place to go for really authentic "Irish" food. It also isn't where I would go if I wanted a nice, full meal. Their menu is full of good appetizers that pair well with their brews, which is what they do really well. A couple years ago, we celebrated a milestone anniversary here, but this time we stepped it up a little: we got a little private table inside a barrel in their courtyard, and it was a very cozy and wonderful setting for our anniversary celebration. The very best thing about this establishment, however, is their service. My husband always plans ahead for our anniversary celebration, and has worked closely with the management of Cork and Barrel on more than one occasion to make our evening extra special. From flower delivery directly to our table, to a private location so we could visit uninterrupted, the staff has always been very accommodating and helpful in making his vision come to life. However, the steak was too far gone to help. It was closer to medium and, again, the cut was bad. (Note: I didn't complain!
