Wasn't thrilled with my experience. We showed up with 3 people, expecting another 3 to 4 people. We walked past shaded tables outdoor, and were seated in the hot sunshine. I asked about the table in the shade, and was told they weren't seating anyone there at the moment. They then seated the group behind us at the shaded table. I sat there for nearly 30 minutes without being waited on, while the staff waited on the tables to my right and left. Service can make or break an experience, and had I not been waiting for friends, I would have left. I gave it 3 stars for the beer, but the service was a lackluster 1. read more

Went here 5-26-13. Will NOT go back. Service here is terrible. The staff seems more interested in having there own conversations and playing on cell phones than seating and greeting. The little girl with the attitude at the front couldn't even look at us when she told us how long our wait would be. She was more concerned with her conversation with another server over personal business. I decided to get a beer and went to the bar where, once again...I was ignored. Three different servers walked by me, looked directly at me, and didn't even say hello or ask if I had been helped. They would however chat to each other and stare out over the crowd. Finally after 10 minutes a guy walked by and asked if I needed help, then he flagged over one of the servers. All that effort to get a mediocre beer? One friend asked for a soda with no ice...they couldn't even get that right. I rejoined my friends. We gazed out at several empty tables....which btw were cleaned with the enthusiasm you get out of a 6 year old forced to earn an allowance...and were kept waiting to seat 6 until the "ladies" at the front finished their conversation. In fact when one of my lady friends went to ask if perhaps one of those were ours and ready, the snippet answered -without looking up-that she was "dealing with it"After a half hour wait looking at semi-clean empty tables we were seated in the back by the door. Everytime it was opened, the wind blew items on our table all over. Our server at the table was however nice and attentive. The food was so-so. The pizzas were undercooked and the pineapple was the cold and flavorless canned crud. The salmon chowder was excellent. However as we ate we watched more and more people arrive and receive the same "hurry up and wait" treatment from staff. Many empty seats, no one getting seated. We won'tbe going back. Worthy needs to give there staff training in customer service and improve the attitudes of the workers. There are too many other breweries with better food, beer, and especially service (Old Mill Brew Werks comes to mind) to put up with this over priced shabby treatment. Makes me wonder if the owner even reads this page to see that all his money put in a great looking place means nothing if your service is bad. read more

Allison was our server and she was amazing!! We went here for our last night in Bend and since it is Friday it was pretty packed. The hostess was really sweet and got us seated as soon as she could. The food was reasonably priced and delicious! Allison made great recommendations, was very accomadating, nice, fun, knowledgeable and cool!! This place has a huge patio that is dog friendly. Food and atmosphere was great but I give the five stars due to our server! Also the cilantro whiskey cocktail is delicious! My boyfriend really enjoyed every beer he tried which isn't common since he is kind of a beer snob considering he's been a bartender and beer geek forever, he's old ;) haha read more

I whole heartedly disagree with a 3.5 star overall rating on this place! Coming from Portland I wasn't expecting to be so overwhelmingly impressed with this brew pub- however the atmosphere, service, quality of food and beer exceeded my every expectation! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the beet salad, hot wings and halibut tacos! They were all top quality ingredients and deliciously prepared! It has been a long time since I've enjoyed such a quality and tastefully prepared meal at a brew pub! For beers I enjoyed the sampler- wit, IPA, imperial IPA, saison, imp red and stout- all were delicious, interesting and quality brews. I come to Worthy every so often. I enjoy their beer and food. I love the goat cheese & marinara flatbread appetizer and their steelhead sandwich or Caesar salad. Service is hit or miss, but I believe it's due to a couple specific waitresses and a hostess. Overall, Worthy is an ideal place to choose for classic Bend brewery food and drinks. read more

A large place that features as smallish menu of mostly burgers & pizzas, it is nonetheless popular. My fish & fries was good. The coleslaw was unique with a mix of lettuce & cabbage but little sauce. Worthy Brewing is a beautiful building complete with a home grown hops garden, bar, inside seating, and outdoor seating making a great atmosphere. The service was decent but not excellent, and my whole party was satisfied with their food. The pizzas are very unique. I got to try the Oregon pear and the Homegrown pizzas, both of which were good. I was at Worthy on a fairly busy Friday night. And overall the experience was...okay. Positives + The food was good. Despite it being busy we were seating fairly quickly. It's a cool building! Negatives - The service was cold and unwelcoming. The Pale Ale was overly hoppy and more like an IPA. I like a good IPA but on this occasion I was hoping for something lighter. It was so loud. Maybe it's a sign of me getting older or something (?) but I couldn't handle it! I couldn't hear what my husband was saying. Neutral Comment There seemed to be a lot of kids and families there. Phenomenal place. Beautiful building with a gorgeous view. You MUST drink and eat here during daylight hours to enjoy one of the most brilliant views of Bend. Huge patio with ample seating. Lots of beers available, although their flagship IPA is what you're going to be after. Dining area can get quite packed during dinner rushes, but your table will still feel private. After a long day at Smith Rock we were in a mad hunt for a few brews, food and a good place to watch the Seahawks game. We found Worthy on Yelp and decided to check it out. The space is huge, open and had tons of seating. We we're seated by the tvs so we had a perfect view of the game. The HH pricing was pretty good and they had a selection of nachos, pizza, hummus, chicken tenders and other snacks. No complaints there! The food was ok, nothing mind blowing but it hit the spot. We wished that they had the volume up on the tv but we understood that it may disturb other patrons. Overall, not a bad spot! read more

Pretty bummed. We have been going to Worthy since the weekend they opened. One of the main reasons we go is because of the coconut clam chowder. We have family and friends who visit from out of town who insist on going just for coconut clam chowder. We went last night with my brother in law visiting and the chowder is gone and replaced with seafood chowder. First of all... The coconut clam chowder was delicious! Second... It was dairy free. It is very nice to have a dairy free option especially at a brewpub. Over the years Worthy keeps getting rid of our favorite menu items! Please bring back the coconut clam chowder! read more

Beers are not the best in town but the food is really good and the patio is comfortable and elegant, great picnic tables good for large groups. Plus it is the best spot in town to watch the 4th of July fireworks, be warned this is not a secret and very crowded then. read more

Young servers seem to not take this serving business seriously. I've been in the business forever and it saddens me to see the lack of effort. I was really excited to try Worthy, but the rude hostess ruined my whole experience here. We went for a birthday party and had a big group. A couple extra people showed up and the hostess made it known to us that this was the biggest hassle for her. She told us "this table won't seat 10 people, come up and see me when you want to figure this out". I then had a direct view of watching her talk badly and complain about our table and got to watch as the other hostesses looked over at our table to see who she was talking about. Our waitress however was very friendly and accommodating to our big party, but the rude hostess kind of put a damper on all of our experiences at Worthy. The food and the beer were good, but in my opinion not worth dealing with that hostess again or supporting a business that treats customers like that. read more

He brought out our check without asking if we wanted anything else after not coming to check on us for 20 minutes, I ordered another drink and when he brought it he brought the check again and set it down... I was going to order desert and my spouse another drink but decided against it. He then proceeded to not come back to take my card and then I noticed the scan here to pay QR code so decided to go that route and after sitting there for another 10 minutes after paying we left. As we were leaving John proceeded to rudely chase us down and ask if we were going to pay. We did... if he would have checked on us he would have known and even after that he should have not assumed we ditched on the check when that is an option on the receipt. If it was just the beer, I would give it three stars. A pretty solid IPA for sure. But nothing exceptional when you compare it to Bend's other offerings. The restaurant itself is very nice... Love the atmosphere here I think that's the number 1 reason I want to eat here. Food is good. Service not so much unfortunately. Every time we've come its been pretty poor service but the last time we sat outside with a big group. A couple times we had to go in to find our waitress cause we were sitting outside and she rarely checked on us. Be sure to check your bill!!! Don't just let the waitress tell you the total!! We ate outside, when we asked for the check, she only TOLD us the total. We were splitting it so asked to break it out. Our friend's paid with a card and asked to see the check, but when using her little machine, because of the sun, he couldn't really see it. She only told us a total, which we paid and then tipped 20% on. It wasn't until I was home that I thought about it and the math just didn't add up. Our bill was $130 for 3 of us with 2 burgers ($15 each), 1 pizza ($21), 1 pretzel ($12) and 4 beers (I don't know how much they were but can't be more than $10 each). With the tip we added, that was over $50 per person,...how can that be right? Well, tip was already added because we were a group of 6- BEWARE, the waitstaff may not TELL you when she tells you only the total that the tip was already included!!!! And even when I add it up, it still doesn't equal $130 with her 18% tip. Morale of the story, they may be adding stuff, and tip, and you don't know it, so be sure to get a paper copy of the bill. read more

The beer is excellent (which is probably the most important thing for a brewery). Lights Out Stout easily gets 5 out of 5 stars, and the pale ale is good too. The IPA is good -- what you would expect from a Northwest brewery -- but it doesn't particularly stand out. Food-wise, their pizza is average. They have some unique topping combos, if you're into that sort of thing. Service is okay. I felt a little rushed when ordering at the bar, but that could be because they were busy at the time. read more

Great indoor and outdoor seating options with a couple of bars. Service was prompt and gave great suggestions. Large rotating menu of great beers and ciders. The stout was excellent. Not too heavy but rich and smooth. Parking is limited but worth it. Food was tasty and fresh. Waffle cut sweet potato fries are legit.
