Roasted Red Potato
Rumi C.

World pizza has quite the unique spread of pizza available by the slice or by the pie. I got their roasted potato pizza which also has rosemary and garlic on it which was delightful. The potato was soft and rosemary was the primary flavor. Crust is on the softer side so if crunchy is your preference, like me, note that. The worker kindly explained all the pizzas to me since this was my first time in and it seems they have great vegetarian selections. I took my pizza to go but there are a couple seats in the front and side of the shop. Note the Pac-Man table in the corner so bring a few quarters if you're into that

Incredible pizza place tucked in the middle of International District. My friend and I were walking around the CID and he told me about this place that served a pizza with potato slices, so I had to try it out. For $4.50 per slice, it's worth the bite. The service was also super friendly too, a very welcoming environment that'll draw me back in again soon.

I came for the food walk and got a Year of the snake slice & beer for $6. Service was great, the seating area is small but very clean.

Family owned pizza. Their food is tasty and fresh and their spice they make in house is a must. Their kid draws on the pizza boxes . I think that's worth more than what I get inside as it brings me such a big smile. The service is also amazing and the shop is super cute!

Always on the hunt to expand my pizza options and scrolling through DoorDash one night, I discovered World Pizza. Pizza really tastes like it was homemade. So much so that it reminded me of making midnight pizzas with an old roommate. If you like your pizzas saucy, World Pizza is for you. If you're not, approach with caution because they are very generous with the sauce. I've only ordered online, but if you order in person it's worth asking if they could do a light sauce. To me, the crust is the star. Soft but plentiful, and a great way to scoop up any of that extra sauce from the slices. Price wise World Pizza maches what you'll find in Seattle, all pies are 16" but can range between $23.99 (cheese and the base rate for their 'create your own') to $28.99 (can go higher if you chooose additional toppings). Each pizza box seems to come with a custom hand drawing. World Pizza has become a favorite, but I have to take a star away because their hours can be pretty irregular (not counting the holidays), which can make it hard if you're spontaneously craving pizza.

I was exploring the International District/Chinatown and stumbled upon World Pizza and what a wonderful find it was! I was drawn in by an enticing aroma and knew I had to get a slice to try, even though pizza was definitely not what I had planned on having for lunch. I wasn't sure what to get, as they have several options available to get by the slice (all of which looked delicious). Well, in the process of deciding I got to have a great conversation with the owners, Aaron and Wren, two of the most fantastic people I met while I was in Seattle. They have both a passion for their food, local food, and their community, which really makes this a standout establishment that everyone should visit. Also, because I finally settled on Wren's recommendation of the potato pizza with some of their house made habanero sauce (very spicy, the way I like it!) and it was absolutely phenomenal. Cheesy, flavorful, a superb slice even without the hot sauce. While you can easily get yourself a whole pizza or some slices to go (all vegetarian by the way), they also have a fair amount of seating inside if you would like to enjoy the warm and friendly space for a little longer.

Peach Pizza

I've always walked by World Pizza when walking around the Chinatown-International District, but I never had an urge to pop in for pizza until a food walk to me here, fortunately. My friend recommended we try World Pizza during the event, and I'm glad I listened to her. We visited World Pizza on our food walk where there was a special on their peach pizza. When we visited, we saw that they weren't allowing dine-in at the time nor do they have outdoor seating. But the thing about getting a slice of pizza is that it's easy to take on the go. After I ordered a slice of their peach pizza, they heated it up for me and it was solid. I don't normally like sweet-savory foods, but the peach with the bleu cheese on the pizza worked well together, so I was a fan of the slice. It's not a pizza I would normally order, so I'm glad they offered this as a food walk special, otherwise, I'm not sure I would've tried it. They did have other classic flavors that were ready for takeout, as well as their chocolate chip cookies that my friend mentioned was bomb here. Pizza in Chinatown. Who knew?

Walking around the ID this morning and for some reason was craving pizza for breakfast and just my luck they had an egg pizza! The owners were really nice and the place is very cozy and the pizza is all vegetarian and tastes very homemade and delicious. They have their own hot sauce too which was really good. Very cool little spot, I definitely will be back!

Ehhh. I don't know if it's because I stopped in for a late night bite, or what, but I definitely wasn't that impressed with this place. I feel like the pies here felt akin to something similar to cafeteria slices that schoolchildren get - something thin and tasteless, hard and chewy, something that's been sitting under a lamp for 8 hours. This pizza joint is located in chinatown; but has no chinese or asian influence in flavors or even decor from what I could see. The walls are painted a striking overwhelming red, and dotted with strange abstract paintings that I didn't really care for - it's definitely a look though. The inside itself was sticky and gross. There was a cart near the back filled with dirty dishes that didn't look like it had been emptied in a while. Each table is equipped with parmesan and pepper flakes which are covered in grease and grime. Pies are sold whole or by the slice; you order at the counter when you walk in and pay there.

Mom and Pop Pizza shop in the CID. A wholesome pizza from wholesome people. As a resident in the neighborhood. Grateful to have World Pizza here.

Been trying to cut back on the carbs, and decided to cheat for a slice of pizza while we were walking through the International District. It's a fairly small pizza place that offers pizza by the slice and went with a tried and true topping of pepperoni. We were promptly greeted and service was friendly when we ordered. Now onto the pizza , possibly because it was towards the end of the night, but as much as I was craving pizza this didn't hit the spot. Though they did heat up the slice, it wasn't heated up enough. The crust a bit too hard and cheese not melted enough. The pepperoni had a nice lil kick to it, but with everything else lacking it couldn't save the pizza. Maybe it was a sign, I should keep off the carbs.

Upon arrival after 9:00 pm on a Tuesday, we asked to set in one of the booth but they said no because of their strict policy for the booth the used x 3 or more people. Meanwhile, all 4 booth were empty. The kind waitress then offered to move us to the bar booth if something opened up, we kindly agreed and simple went on with our night at different table. While on the table my friend picked up 3 small little flowers from the base and said happy birthday to me, and I put the little flowers on my hair, then I told the waitress I hope you don't mind, my friend gave this little flowers from the table it is my birthday, to which the waitress replied happy birthday, I have no problem with that!. Then comes the manager, and tells me sarcastically, that is a cute flower but it is not yours to take, you should have asked permission anyways, I told him with a smile, but is my birthday and it a tiny flower may I keep it? He stated no, because other costumers will come in and there are no flowers in the table. I told him to replace it with another from another table and he said No give it back now please. It is not yours to take!!! Me, already feeling unwelcome and missed treated, yet still stayed but couldn't even finish my pizza because of how upset I was. I told my friend I wanted to leave. After closing the tab, I walked upfront and waited for my friend. Upon walking outside, the managers comes after us screaming "hey give me back the flower" you took it, at this point I was still walking ahead on my friend and I can hear the manager yelling "she stole it" give it back now, she is a thief, you come here to steal is that it? I repeatedly, told him I didn't take it and even open my purse and told him to come search it, but he stormed back in while insulting and yelling to me IN PUBLIC! - I was deeply humiliated in front of absolute strangers. I didn't see my friend taking the flower either, and if he did, he never gave it to me otherwise, I would have throw it at his face. The luck of hospitality, professionalism, and simply compassion and dignity from this person is Absolutely Unacceptable. I was treated with far more respect and the Four Seasons (and they did give me flowers), than this ridiculous place. It is a shame that the owner would allow someone like this to be the front of the business. And I feel deeply sorry for their employees to have to endure this person as I saw on their eyes the embarrassment they felt. I deserve nothing else but an apology for the way I was treated. I too work in hospitality, I know what is like to provide costumer service providing healthcare and never in my wildest days would I ever treat anyone with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. I recommend this person to be replace or re train. Otherwise it will only affect the business.

They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). Except that this logo has hair made of pasta! Good enough to eat! Give this place a try. You'll leave with a big smile on your faces!

We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
