As I walked in the first thing I noticed was the whole store was rearranged. All I came here to buy was fluorescent light bulbs. I mean I managed to find them quite quickly but even so the aisles were much longer than before. As anyone shopping for anything now many of the expensive items are locked up, which makes the shopping experience not so easy like it used to be. Just glad I was only looking for light bulbs and not something that was locked up. I have been a customer of the Ace Hardware stores for many years and only because I don't have to wonder through a bunch of items like your big hardware stores. Changes sometimes takes one to get used to but I don't often stop at this store very often so it's a good thing for me. This store is very busy on weekends and glad I have the opportunity to shop during the week. One thing I can say is that they always have good employees that are helpful. The store is kept up pretty much and service is good. I will probably stop by again when I am nearby.

The west side you'll be in the self check out corral. Self check out- there's cameras and security you don't need four people just goofing around in their phones in this area when you could obviously put them to work with cashiering to cut the lines down, or have them stock and help get the store properly stocked. Security- there's an armed rent a security guard at the entrance not the exit which is weird. Restroom- what you'd expect from a Home Depot filthy!

Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. So I think I will keep going to this other place instead.

Whether I needed 5/8" grade 8 bolts to mount a monster vise to my work bench or 8/32" filister head machine screws for a 1948 bench grinder, these guys pretty much have it all. The owners are super helpful, friendly and just all around great people. I explained to him what I needed and he guided me to a shelf stocked with lubricants and told me to give this particular one a try. I just wasn't going to buy another tool to just use it once. I bought a few other items but those items will be used. As most of you well know they change some of the brands over the years but all in all any of their power tools are decent at almost half the price of buying a name brand. Finally Emma Gonzales, comes in doesn't acknowledge us at first then takes are bidder number. We then ask how long do you think it will be. She tells us she has no idea and just go sit down outside (100 degrees outside), and wait to be called. Rude, but we did it, there were several others waiting for their items as well. Three of them had already been waiting for more than 20 minutes. After being there for 30 minutes we call the corporate office to complain. My Husband is a disabled vet and was beginning to feel ill. at this time there were about 15-20 people waiting and I could not get a hold of any of the employees to tell them we had to leave. We called corporate again and explained the situation, they told us to reach out to the owner, that they would try and help us but we needed to do that first. This place is open 8-2 and if your item/s are not brought out they close and it's just to bad. Well I texted the two people on the web site, Emma being one of them. Told them the situation, she says " you are the ones that called corporate , right?) , not let see what I can do to fix the situation. She then tells me one of my items has been misplaced and they will offer a refund on that one. I was told I could pick up my other item the following day. I reassured her I would do that. You would think that she would ensure it was ready to be picked, it wasn't and we waited for her to finish typing for another five minutes, before even looking up at us. Again just rude. We picked up our item, took it home, and it is not the correct item! For the love of God! Why is this so hard for her to figure out! I sent multiple photos and told her I wanted a complete refund, and she could come pick it up. I was not going to drive down there for a third time. My time is valuable and I was fair about everything. She messaged back and said no you return or no refund. At this point I'm going to eat the loss but I will post as many reviews as possible, I don't want anyone else to be treated so badly. Just a side note ; when reaching out to corporate they did state they have had numerous complaints about this auction house and they were probably going to discontinue allowing them to use Local Auctions Platform. I will give 0 stars but can't and some on the reviews don't get approved because they don't want the ratings to get worst . When I asked for help finding the item, the worker hovered staring right at us until we made a decision. With different brands/options, we were looking to shop around, but with someone right there staring at you, it's kinda hard to review all the info and compare prices to other places online. Had I known he was going to hover, I would've never asked for help. We ended up overpaying for something cheaper nearby. I'm not sure I'll be back.
