Mentioned my needs here and the guy at the counter found what I needed within seconds. I had been here before but had forgotten about it until another pool company recommended I check them out. I have been going to Pool Parts Plus for close to ten years. A great small business that is customer friendly and very helpful without charging you for every piece of advice but willing and able to provide the service if you need it to take care of all your pool needs. Recently had our pool refinished with Pebble Tech and wanted to get rid of that clumsy vacuum in the pool and the attached vacuum line. Pool Parts recommended the BeatBott A100 Pro. This is a robot unit that cleans all aspects of your pool - floor, side walls, tile line and skims the surface. Pool Parts was willing to beat any price found on the internet including Amazon. I have had it now for over one week and it does a great job. One of the associates at Pool Parts has one for his pool and was very helpful in answering all my questions and giving me good information on how to use it. read more

I have been going out of my to this pool store compamy location (they have two) for several years just to buy HASA liquid Chlorine both in the returnable crate of 4 jugs. Of course like everything else, during and after the pandemic the price has doubled. I called and spoke with the owners daughter a couple days prior who also works there and asked her about their HASA chlorine both price and potency information as I hadn't been in for a while. So given the information of a guarenteed minimum of 15% @ 8.50 per gal I received, I go to the store off of Bell rd, which is the only location that is licensed to be able to sell the refillable crates due to storage requirements I was told (their other store just sold the HASA disposable gallon jugs two in a box). As I'm bring in my crates of emplty jugs into the store and purshasing my replacements I mention to the Pool Parts Store clerk, who has worked there for some time, about my experience with with my local Leslies pool store I had gone to get a bag of non chlorine shock to discover their now selling similar liquid chlorine as Pool Parts Plus doea or so I had been steared to beleive by their clerk when I asked if was HASA chlorine because it was package the same in a case of 4 gallon jugs you return supposedly for the benefit of buying it for a cheaper price than the disposables and in quantity of 4, so I bought their box of 4 disposables to take home only to discover it wasn't, nor was the potency any better than the big box stores. A just a big rip off! So here I am making a special trip to Pool Parts Plus where I know I can get HASA high potency chlorine. So while I'm telling Pool Parts Store personnel my recent experience at Leslies and how preprehensible it is to out right lie to your customers for a sale and he agreed while engaging in the same conduct as I once again discovered when I got it home and pulled it out of the case and it was made by Trident and the lable said 12% not 15%. Their clerk certainly didn't tell me they changed suppliers and are no longer selling HASA products and the potency therefore is not what it used to be, so I spent 75.00 for 8 gals of what I thought was 15% minimum HASA chlorine but was really only 12% chlorine, at best that is, for almost 20.00 more for "maybe" 2% more chlorine level than Walmart is gouging consumers especially when you mis-represent the product to your customer. But the lies and bate and switch antics has lost me as a customer for good. I've also been sold the wrong parts for my equipment too and had to eat that as well, not to mention, I hired someone they hooked me up with who broke the part my gage skews into and is now leaking by over skewing/tightening the replacement gage I had bought to replace the old I couldn't read any more, so I had to buy a replacement part the gage skews into and have someone else install it. If I can't trust who I am doing business with, I won't be back and they won't see another penny out of my pocket! read more

I worked Retail for years and I understand customer service. Not every customer has a model and part number for what they are looking for so I sure was surprised how difficult Pool Parts Plus could make it for me. I was picking up lumber at Home Depot across the street and remembered I needed a pool part. So I walk into Pool Parts Plus, there was nobody else there when I got there. I tell the guy that I need a 6" round 1/4" thick gasket for my pump skimmer. I gesture with my hands the size. who makes the skimmer he asks.. I don't know, it fits around the clear plastic skimmer bubble and has a handle on it. What is the part number he asks. I don't know... its at the house. He points to the wall behind him and says.. You see all those gaskets over there... then he points to the skimmer covers on the floor. You see all those covers? Of course I saw them. Then someone else walks in and he starts helping him. I stand there for a second looking at the covers on the floor and decide to leave. I thank him for ALL HIS HelP and leave. I go over to Leslies's pools a couple of blocks away and tell the clerk the same information. He asks a few questions if I had a photo or model number, but after about 30 seconds we arrived at the correct part. The entire transaction from enter the store to leaving with a paid for part took less that 3 minutes. I went home and looked at pictures on the internet for clear skimmer covers with handle and mine was the very first one to appear. It took about 10 seconds to identify. I put in a few descriptions and damn, there couldn't be more than 3 clear cover lids with handles. The guy at Pool Parts Plus just couldn't spend a minute with me. I buy lots of stuff every day, but I haven't felt like my business wasn't worth the effort for a long time. I won't be returning. The guy was a dickweed. If this review keeps PPP from one sale, I will be satisfied. I will make an effort to buy my pool parts somewhere else from now on. read more

We hired this pool company And they told us it would cost $550 to get the pool cleaned ~after it turned green ,and would be "good to go 3-4 days later ",he came the first day and added chemicals and was suppose to return the Following day and didn't until we called them ~he came along with an attitude ,and then came one more time ,it's still dirty and it's been 9 days and haven't seen the pool man ~ so I went in to ask about it and got a big attitude actually yelling at me so I walked out after trying to solve the issue ~ so they are no longer allowed in my yard will never have this company at my house or friends family ever again ,terrible service !! read more

After going to several Leslie's pool stores in the valley and getting run around. I went to the store on 67th And Happy Valley to get a filter and some pop ups. They didn't have them there. But they got on the phone with this store to confirm they had the stuff we needed. So we weren't driving all over the place like Leslie's had us doing. The My has to order the filter, but had the pop ups we needed and let us borrow the tool to change them out. Great customer service and knowledge of their products. read more

This location has been on the west side forever. They are open late in summers which is very nice because I can stop in on my way home from work. Its a small place and won't have as many "trinkets" like inflatable alligators and stuff but if your pool needs help, they are happy to do so. They test water for free and take pride in selling high quality items for a reasonable price. They guys are very patient and helped me through a pool disaster last year when buying a home where the pool was so bad that I couldn't see the top step. Now its beautiful and they help me keep it that way. One of the guys even gave me his cell phone number so when I got home I could send him pics of my pump. Can't ask for more than that. Oh, they also will refill/exchange your liquid chlorine saving you a couple bucks. FYI - the location on happy valley doens't have the permit for it. read more

I have been coming here and have had an account here for over 15 years, but thanks to some guy behind the counter, that stops now. I went into the store with a video of my pool motor that stopped working. I needed them to come out and fix it. He refused, and wanted me to disconnect the electrical and bring it in. I'm not an electrician, so I called another company who was out the next day and had my pump working again in 10 minutes. Great service from a great company. I have been a customer for over 15 years and found their pool cleaning very good. However today when I ask them to come out to properly hook up the ground wire to my pool pump that they installed I was told I would be charged a service call for them to fix something they did. I then went into the store to speak to the owner. The clerk told me he was busy, I said fine I will wait because it is about a problem they caused. He went into the office for awhile and came back out and told me to call tomorrow when the route manager was in. I told them to cancel my service at the end of this month. He told me to hold the top of the skimmer lid up to the sun and look through it to see if any cracks. He was right! New lid and pool is working great! After owning my pool for 12 years with barely a problem, I ended up with a major algae infestation. Yup, couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. With the temps already hanging around 100 degrees, I decided not to drain for fear of cracking the pebble. PPP was recommended by an acquaintance. I spent a day and $100 putting 24 gallons of liquid chlorine into my playpool per the salesman's instructions with no change. The next day, I went in with a water sample & description of the water (no change). The saleswoman refused to check my water, seemed not to care about what I was saying and recommended I add at least 48 more gallons of liquid chlorine(@$200). Something wasn't right.... I asked if there was someone else I could talk to, I was told "no" even though the manager/owner Mark was standing 6 feet away, ignoring the situation. Needless to say, I left and went to another pool supply place where they did test my water. I spent another $100 in different chemicals(better that the $200 recommended by PPP), and this morning my pool is almost completely clear. read more
