Doesn't say HASA on the label, infact HASA returnable containers didn't have a lable, but you could see how strong it was when you poured it
Darlene D.

I have been going out of my to this pool store compamy location (they have two) for several years just to buy HASA liquid Chlorine both in the returnable crate of 4 jugs. Of course like everything else, during and after the pandemic the price has doubled. I called and spoke with the owners daughter a couple days prior who also works there and asked her about their HASA chlorine both price and potency information as I hadn't been in for a while. So given the information of a guarenteed minimum of 15% @ 8.50 per gal I received, I go to the store off of Bell rd, which is the only location that is licensed to be able to sell the refillable crates due to storage requirements I was told (their other store just sold the HASA disposable gallon jugs two in a box). As I'm bring in my crates of emplty jugs into the store and purshasing my replacements I mention to the Pool Parts Store clerk, who has worked there for some time, about my experience with with my local Leslies pool store I had gone to get a bag of non chlorine shock to discover their now selling similar liquid chlorine as Pool Parts Plus doea or so I had been steared to beleive by their clerk when I asked if was HASA chlorine because it was package the same in a case of 4 gallon jugs you return supposedly for the benefit of buying it for a cheaper price than the disposables and in quantity of 4, so I bought their box of 4 disposables to take home only to discover it wasn't, nor was the potency any better than the big box stores. A just a big rip off! So here I am making a special trip to Pool Parts Plus where I know I can get HASA high potency chlorine. So while I'm telling Pool Parts Store personnel my recent experience at Leslies and how preprehensible it is to out right lie to your customers for a sale and he agreed while engaging in the same conduct as I once again discovered when I got it home and pulled it out of the case and it was made by Trident and the lable said 12% not 15%. Their clerk certainly didn't tell me they changed suppliers and are no longer selling HASA products and the potency therefore is not what it used to be, so I spent 75.00 for 8 gals of what I thought was 15% minimum HASA chlorine but was really only 12% chlorine, at best that is, for almost 20.00 more for "maybe" 2% more chlorine level than Walmart is gouging consumers especially when you mis-represent the product to your customer. But the lies and bate and switch antics has lost me as a customer for good. I've also been sold the wrong parts for my equipment too and had to eat that as well, not to mention, I hired someone they hooked me up with who broke the part my gage skews into and is now leaking by over skewing/tightening the replacement gage I had bought to replace the old I couldn't read any more, so I had to buy a replacement part the gage skews into and have someone else install it. If I can't trust who I am doing business with, I won't be back and they won't see another penny out of my pocket!

They had an old manifold in stock and that saved me from buying a new filter.

I really wanted to be able to leave a positive review, but unfortunately our experience has been…read moreincredibly disappointing. We purchased a brand-new spa and have been dealing with issues since November 2025. From the beginning, we experienced problems that simply should not have existed on a new product, including discovering an incorrect pump had been installed, malfunctioning aerators, control screen issues, and other items requiring troubleshooting, repair, or replacement. Early on, the owner acknowledged that their spas are stored in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and explained that the Arizona summer heat can cause components to warp and create issues. I appreciated the honesty, but found that concerning. A customer purchasing a brand-new spa shouldn't have to deal with the consequences if storage conditions have affected the product. The exterior panels were not damaged upon delivery, but because of the amount of internal troubleshooting required, they were removed and reinstalled repeatedly. This eventually resulted in damaged panels and missing fastener/button pieces. Because of the number of issues, we were even offered a replacement spa. We considered it, but the spa offered was not comparable in luxury features and amenities to the one we purchased. We didn't feel accepting a less-equipped spa was a fair resolution, so we chose to continue working with the dealer in good faith to get the spa we actually purchased functioning properly. To their credit, some of the larger problems were eventually addressed. However, there are STILL items that have not worked properly since day one and remain unresolved. At this point, my biggest complaint isn't even that the spa had problems. Things can go wrong. My biggest complaint is the lack of communication and follow-through. Essentially every ounce of communication throughout this process has had to be initiated by me. I have had to repeatedly ask for updates, follow up when I don't hear anything, and try to keep the process moving. There has been virtually no proactive communication from the dealer. We have been beyond patient and understanding. I have made a conscious effort to be kind, reasonable, and respectful because I understand that problems happen and not everything can be fixed overnight. At this point, however, I can't help but feel that my patience and understanding have been mistaken for complacency. Being understanding does not mean I am okay with unresolved problems. The remaining issues are relatively small, which almost makes this more frustrating. I have been reaching out for months trying to get them resolved with little to no response. After dealing with this since November 2025, I should not still be chasing someone down over items that haven't worked since the spa was brand new. A hot tub is a significant investment. We gave this dealer every opportunity to make things right before leaving a negative review. Unfortunately, after months of continuing to be the one initiating communication while issues remain unresolved, I feel sharing our experience is warranted. Based on our experience, I would not purchase from this dealer again nor recommend them.

We recently completed a pool project with Thunderbird Pools (April 2026), and had a very positive…read moreexperience and are extremely happy with the final result. We interviewed 10 different pool companies before making our decision, and Thunderbird Pools ultimately delivered exactly what we were looking for on time, and on budget! The design process was outstanding from the very beginning. Jeff Hyler (our designer) was incredibly knowledgeable, creative, and professional. During the very first onsite visit, he measured the space and produced an initial design complete with pricing and visual renderings. That immediate concept helped us clearly understand what was possible within our budget and set Thunderbird apart from every other company we interviewed. None of the other vendors offered anything close to the same level of interactive design capability or onsite visualization tools, and it made an excellent first impression. After comparing proposals from multiple pool builders, including pricing, pool size, and features, we ultimately chose Thunderbird Pools because of the quality of the design process, our confidence in the team, the professionalism of the company and staff, and the overall value offered. The showroom in Surprise offered various color options and the designer Jeff was extremely helpful in making selections! Before construction and permitting began, communication was excellent. Once the project started, Joe Hernandez was onsite regularly and did an exceptional job overseeing the subcontractors and maintaining quality control. His experience was obvious, and he consistently paid attention to details, communicated expectations clearly, and kept the project moving efficiently. We always felt confident that the schedule, workmanship, and overall project quality were being managed closely. We were also impressed with the subcontractors Thunderbird used throughout the project. They were skilled, professional, punctual, and worked efficiently according to the company's online schedule and project portal. They never left construction debris when they were done and tried to keep the area very clean. Thunderbird's internal project managers also communicated consistently through phone calls and emails, keeping us informed during each phase of construction. Overall, the company demonstrated excellent organization, communication, and project management from start to finish. Most importantly, the project stayed within our target budget, and the overall construction process went smoothly in the timeline anticipated. After completion, Brandon Thompson handled the equipment startup, testing, and training process. Brandon was outstanding , highly knowledgeable about all the pool systems, thorough in testing functionality, and extremely helpful with maintenance and scheduling recommendations. He not only completed the initial startup and training but also returned multiple times afterward to ensure everything was operating perfectly and to answer any additional questions we had. In the end, the project was completed on time, on budget, and exceeded our expectations. With just a little more upfront clarity regarding owner's site pre-grading responsibilities and protection of existing property during construction, the experience would have been beyond expectations. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering building a pool.

The entire project ran like clockwork. The planning and execution was seamless. Your work crews are craftsmen, very skilled and meticulous. Gary, the project started with your creative design. You listened very closely to what features we wanted and you incorporated those ideas into a masterpiece we now proudly call our backyard. Throughout the project, your team was very responsive to any concerns or questions we had. As our daily point of contact, Mike was wonderful to work with. To say that you and your staff went beyond our wildest dreams in the quality of work and customer service would be an understatement. Our backyard project also included a spa built and installed by your company, Spas by Design. The quality of your spa is untouchable. Also, I can't say enough about Bob Campo, your sales manager. When, as new spa owners, we were having some concerns about how to maintain the proper water quality, he came right over to help with a big smile and words of encouragement. Nothing ever goes as planned in construction projects but the issues come up and many hide or try to hit you with change orders. I recommend Triton for any project in their scope as they never left us, even communicating weekends when new project issues or learning how to use the products you purchase arise. You get treated like you would want to treat your own family by Tristan and Triton offering integrity and follow through which is unfortunately lacking in most industries these days, especially construction projects. Thanks to Tristan and his team for the patience and follow through to educate us during the project. Lara Mazzone lmazzone11@gmail.com 2:58PM (3 minutes ago)…read moreto me We hired Triton to install a new pool pump and filter. Although the equipment initially appeared to work, a licensed electrician later found serious code and safety violations in the pool subpanel, including improper grounding/neutral, disconnected GFCI protection, circuits tied together against code, and insufficient voltage reaching the equipment. The electrician stated the system should not have been energized in this condition. They sent out a tech named Travis, who opened the subpanel and said, "We only touched these two wires." Following this appointment with Travis, the owner Triston called and stated they did not even open the subpanel during installation. I told him that's strange because Travis was just here yesterday telling me what two wires you touched! If they didn't open the subpanel that means new equipment was connected and powered without verifying the electrical source was safe or code-compliant, and no warning was provided. The owner, Triston, refused to accept responsibility or cover the cost of proper repairs, and their explanations changed multiple times. If they did open the subpanel, there were all sorts of issues that were not disclosed to us prior to energizing the pump and filter. Either option is not professional. Triton's Google reviews also appear far more positive than reviews on other platforms, where customer experiences more closely matched ours. I recommend reading reviews across platforms before deciding. As a result, I am now forced to pursue resolution through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors ROC to get this fixed properly.
