I've been shopping here for 25 years. I used to love coming here because Mike and Ann only carried the best of the best when it comes to chemicals and parts. And they really knew their stuff. They also understood that people don't wanna spend money on products that don't work so they only carried the best products, even if that meant different brands . However, they sold the business. Since then, everything's changed and not for the better. They have maybe a quarter of the chemicals that they used to have. If even that much. Brands I used to go only there for they no longer carry. Perfect example is I went in and I was looking around and the guy at the desk asked me if he could help me find something. And I told him I was just looking to see what chemicals they had. And he pointed to three areas and said there's the liquid chlorine there's the tabs and there's the shock. Seriously? Do you think chlorine is the only thing that goes in the pool to keep it balanced? So I asked them. What about algicide. Their reply oh, we sold the last bottle of that this morning. At this time of year in Phoenix, a pool supply store should always have algicide. So I asked him how many brands of algicide do you carry? The reply was one. I asked him about the gel for removing hard water stains at the tile line. He had no clue what I was talking about. Mike and Anne used to carry this really good gel. I think it was called scale be gone or something like that. It was thick so you could put it on with a scrubby and let it sit for a few minutes and then wash it off or use a scrubby and wash it off. (wearing gloves, of course.) They had only one creepy Crawley box and I think it was possibly the display box. Even their brushes, are substandard narrow instead of wide and not really suitable for pebble tech. They wouldn't last long. I hate having to go to Leslie's but it's only a mile and a half away and at least half the stuff they have is decent. I guess I'm going to have to look for another privately owned pool supply company. It's really a shame, but I don't think EverKlear is going to last very long at this rate. Especially being summer and them not having very many chemicals. They even changed the liquid chlorine brand to some brand I've never heard of before read more

Off to a good start with pool cleaner still under warranty needing replacement parts. Carlos worked on Pentair cleaner but although it worked for a short time, I will be replacing with newer model for better efficiency. Used services 15 years. I was in the market for a new variable speed pool pump for a month or more to replace my single speed noisy and expensive to run Hayward. I spent a lot of time calling and doing face to face visits with a large number of Phoenix pool stores. After a lot of time spent looking for the best, I decided that Mike and Ann at Ever-Klear Pool Supply were the best. Their customer service to me was outstanding from the first meeting in the store with Ann to the Pentair Intelliflo i2 variable speed pump install with Mike. The entire process was flawless and I would highly recommended them for any of your pump needs. I purchased a Pentair pool cleaning system. I did cut the tape but nothing was taking out due to my motor breaking. So 3 weeks ago I brought the system back in for a refund. Owner told me over 3 weeks and 5 calls, every call that the Pentair guy was coming that day to inspect system before a refund. Finally I cane in to get my refund and was told since I used a debit card I couldn't get cash back and the refund needed to go back on the card. This experience has been more then terrible. I will purchase a pool cleaner from Leslie's so if I need to return or something with the system goes wrong my costumer service is the priority. I will never recommend this store to anyone read more

I contacted them on Tuesday about a part for a Pentair heat pump. They told me they had it in Stock & would have it in Friday or Monday at the latest so instead of ordering it on Amazon I waited for them. They didn't return my call on Monday, I left another message on Tuesday. They then told me they couldn't get it & that I should order it from Amazon. Now have to call plumber & reschedule. Don't waste your time.....just order from Amazon! read more

I had called three times asking to set up a pool service and never received a call back. When I called a third time, a woman answered and said she was too busy. Then she told me to hold and when she came back on the line she said to find another pool company because their routes were too full. This was after I paid them to fix my pool. The work was done correctly however not on the day I was told it would be done and I did not receive a call after the work was completed. Based on my experience, I'd recommend finding another company that is committed to their customers. read more

Place has everything you need or they can get it. Prices are comparable to the chains but very knowledgable and willing to help. Located in a sort of abandoned strip mall but many commerical outfits use them for parts and supplies as I see them in there a lot. They are always happy to answer my questions and guide me along when doing my own repairs. Very highly recommended! read more
