    Not sure how Pink Dolphin even has a business or positive reviews. They NEVER answer phone calls or texts. Really disappointed with lack of professionalism. I have resort style yard that requires a reliable and responsive pool service. Cool name but no one seems to care at Pink Dolphin headquarters.

    Only reason for 2 stars is the people who answer the phone are professional and friendly. We are supposed to get weekly pool service. We are told our guy comes really early so while we sometimes think he hasn't come we are told he has logged coming and has sent pictures to verify? Well he clearly hadn't been here for WEEKS I saw a spot of algae and then another and then eventually the bottom of the pool was covered. I called and was told our guy was on vacation last week (so I guess that means you just don't get service) however I explained it had been several weeks given the condition of the pool. They stated that he has logged visits every week but last week and even sent pictures ? That cannot be right. The first spot of algae never left and there have been more every week. Regardless - the CS rep said, don't worry you are on his schedule to come today. So I get home from work about 7pm and this is what I find..... very frustrating. Update! While I was very disappointed and frustrated with my service- I was directly contacted by the company after hours. They apologized for the situation- agreed to place a new technician on my account- get the pool in shape today and to in general do better. I tend to judge the value of a company not only by their shortcomings but more by how they respond to issues. Let's face it- anyone can hire a bad employee- taking accountability and making it right is what matters. I came home from another long day of work with a beautiful sparkling clean pool. It too dark to take pics now but I will post update pics in the morning. Thank you Pink Dolphin for making it right so quickly.

    I wanted to update my review as I know you are all doing what you can! My pool and spa are no longer green so thank you for that one!! Service has been much better after we spoke and the chemicals seem to be helping. We have had a couple of missed weeks otherwise I would have added more stars but I know what's going on now which makes it easier to understand and work with. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out and work with me so we can keep our partnership going. Here's to better things in the future for us all!

    Green pool water

    In the last year their quality of service has deteriorated to a point they can no longer be trusted to clean or treat my pool. When I went out to swim in my pool over the weekend I found my pool water green my vacuum hose rotted to a non-useable condition and my filter was turned off. I only use my pool when my grandchildren are at my home, but that is why I pay a pool service to keep my pool in a condition to use when I need it. When I called the Owner of Pink Dolphin she told me it was my fault that that pool was green and placed no fault on her service person or her company. I do not recommend Pink Dolphin for any pool care or maintenance, and found the Owner not a business professional on the telephone. Dennis S. 67th Ave & Aster Dr Peoria Az

    Wow, what a fantastic job Mike and Steve O did with my repair. I was looking for a reputable company online and although I found a few companies I thought would be good, I kept finding myself going back to Pink Dolphin and mainly due to their reviews from other customers. I just felt more comfortable and confident that I wouldn't be taken advantage of and that the repairs needed would be truly what's needed. I called a Pink Dolphin on a Monday, they were out to my house 2 days later (they could have come out the following day but I had work and wanted to be present for it). Once Mike showed up, he took the time to share with me information about my pool as well as the repairs itself. He provided a few different options and then, the owner (Steve R) wrote up and sent me an estimate which they did later that day only hours after the visit. Wow, call that quick customer service. I was given two options and of course chose the higher of the two simply because I needed it. I was at no time pressured to take the higher priced bid, but did so because I am the type who wants long term solutions and not bandages. Once approved via online platform, they scheduled their visit only 3 business days later (again very quick service). They arrived today and really took the time again to show me a few more things I didn't know about my pool and as you can see from the photos I attached, really did a fantastic job with the Header replacement and valve replacement. They even painted the piping all one color and re-labeled everything for me. Going that extra effort really shows a lot with about a company. At no time did I feel pushed into a decision or pressured to pick a higher bid and that's what made me feel more comfortable than what I already was based upon other customer reviews from yelp as well as FB and so forth. When I have to have something done, I really do my due diligence in properly vetting a company out before committing myself to one company. By far the best choice I have made going with this company and they will get my service for all future repairs! Fantastic job Mike, Steve O as well as the owner Steve R for taking care of my home and pool with care from start to finish!!!

    Steve the owner and Mike the technician were both class acts. They had a competitively priced bid, answered all questions quickly and thoroughly and most importantly did what they promised. They installed a new automation board, IntelliFlo pump and cleaned up my aged plumbing. I would highly recommend Pink Dolphin.

    After 3 weeks of no service - Liquid Chlorine is long gone.

During the initial months, their service was outstanding. At their recommendation we had them replace multiple components to our system. Their initial performance resulted in me writing a five star review on Yelp. In the past year, their service for us had deteriorated significantly. I contacted management multiple times regarding various issues. I complained when they replaced a very competent service technician with an individual who was marginal at best. After several months, he was replaced by another individual who was only minimally better. During the early months of our contract, Fowler's agreed to clean our water feature filter two times per month at no charge. Recently we noticed a reduction in the flow from the waterfall for our water feature and asked the technician to clean the filter. He replied "I'll do it next week". Several days later the water flow stopped altogether. This resulted in another call to management who subsequently informed me that the two times per month cleaning of the filter had not been done for the past five months. He then told me that they were no longer honoring their previous commitment and would only clean the filter every four months with a cost to us of more than $200. If additional cleanings were needed, we would be charged an additional fee. At that point, I decided to look for other vendors. The two that I interviewed both said that the water feature was full of algae. This was without any prompting by us. I contracted with a new vendor who cleaned the water feature filter and removed the algae. The time to clean the filter was seven minutes. To jeprodize a very lucrative contract for a seven minute task makes me question Fowler's business expertise. In retrospect, after spending over $13,000 with Fowler's in less than two years, I realize that they were not the company for us. I gave them more chances than most and they failed to perform to my expectations. I now know why they have recently received poor Yelp ratings from other individuals.     The owner of this company, Rod, got right back to me within minutes. I was a little panicked…read morebecause my pool wasn't operating properly and I was about to have a large pool party. Despite the fact it was after hours (evening before the party), Rod actually spent 20 minutes with me via FaceTime to diagnose the problem, assist me with repairing a valve and priming a pump. He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days.     Contacted DJ about a spa plumbing leak. He came out within a day or two and gave me a diagnosis of…read morewhere the leak was coming from, but he needed to order the part. DJ initially kept me updated with this backordered part. Three weeks later DJ texted me saying the part would be in on Wednesday and he would be out to finish the repair on Saturday. I never heard from DJ again, completely ghosted me. I called another spa service and they came out the next day (a Thursday), diagnosed the leak (DJ's diagnosis was WRONG) and returned the following Monday and completed the repair. Would have done it on initial diagnosis, but had to get part from shop. For 3 weeks, I had a spa that was partially torn apart (I allowed this because DJ was going to return to complete repair in one week) and then wasn't even given the courtesy of telling me what was going on. I stayed home all day on the Saturday, but DJ never showed, called, or sent me a text. What I find weird is that all of our correspondence was cordial, so I'm not sure why I was just ghosted. That said, I would avoid doing business with this person.

I opted to source a circuit board online and DJ offered to walk me through the change via FaceTime (since I'm fairly handy) or come back and install it if I run into difficulty. DJ is a professional and a pleasure to work with, a breath of fresh air compared to the many fake spa techs out there. His service charge is 25-30% less than most so-called spa companies.

I have or had 2 properties that were serviced by Desert Art Pools and they are a HUGE disappointment! I had a repair requested that was never completed and when I called back I was told it wasn't the same area leaking. Which is incorrect, the same area is still leaking,. They say they provide a complete service report and the initial leak and subsequent leaks were not reported. We were disappointed earlier this year with conflicting pricing quotes and services provided. However we did like our maintenance tech and decided to give them another chance. Fast forward - While away attending to personal business our electric heater was mistakenly turned on by the maintenance tech and left running for 2 weeks . I received a huge bill of $1000 from APS and when I called APS they pinpointed the source of the excessive use of energy to the spa running so long approx 360 continuous hours. APS was able to tell us the exact date and time it was turned on ( yes the time and date Desert Art Pools came out to service our pool). We can see a mistake happening the first week, but on the next visit the following week, it should have been turned off or at least a phone call to let us know it was on, and ask how to shut it off if he didn't know. But at the end of week 2, the maintenance tech did call and asked if I could turn the pump off remotely. I can turn off the pump remotely. But not the spa. Which I turned off myself the next day upon my return. I checked the spa water temp and the water was warm, but not hot, so here we go with another problem and we're hoping an element wasn't burned out as a result. Now,after paying the bill already, my husband and I brought this issue to the owner. His immediate response was that tech 's shouldn't turn on the spas at all. The next response is that there should have been a charge to turn on the spa. Ok, fine with that, if there was a charge, no one said there was. Im assuming he thought we wanted to have him pay the bill. We weren't asking for $1000 our normal bill would run $250- $300. We like our tech very much and are very understanding of human error. Our thoughts were to have the company provide a small credit each month to go towards the bill. He just said he was "calling it" and discontinuing service. Never gave or offered any sort credit or compromise. He blamed the victims and packed up and left and not even servicing our pool. Then his office sent invoices for payment. In addition to the bill, we are left with the the spa not heating like it had prior to the 360 hours of continuous running. And it was just installed in March of 2024! We were looking to the professional to provide guidance on what to do next, who should we call? We aren't pool heating experts, we're retirees! Randy, said that has 300 pools service and in so many words we were not worth the time and effort. I cant imagine any other business based on customer service who would have the gall to be so insulting. This company lacks management, customer relations training and good old fashioned ETHICS, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I should have given more thought to the other 1 star reviews. I know next time. I expect another "Cover Myself" response, or untruths in response to this review. But that will be just another case in point.
