I am writing this review for James from Excellent Pool Service because he came to my home to fix someone else's crappy work and install a new pump that I had purchased from another pool service guy back in September. The other guy ghosted me and never installed it. Even though James doesn't service my area, he came to my home as a favor to help make things right with my pool equipment. I'm so happy James agreed to come by. James worked fast, efficiently, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. He installed the new pool pump, fixed the previous piping, and even painted everything so it looked nice. His fees were reasonable, he explained everything to me, and since he doesn't service my area he provided a recommendation for someone he trusts that can provide regular service and future repairs. I cannot thank James enough for his extensive knowledge and professional service. I feel relieved that I finally got an installation/repair worthy of a positive review. I highly recommend James at Excellent Pool Service to anyone who needs repairs. My pool pump area looks so much better because it was repaired by a true professional who actually cares about his work, his reputation, and the reputation of the pool industry as a whole. My pool pump had burned out and needed to be either repaired or replaced. They asked me to send a couple of pictures and answer a few questions, then provided quotes for both repair and replacement options. I also did some research on the company and found out they are licensed, bonded, and insured, which gave me peace of mind. Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. In the end, we decided to replace the pool pump. Chris explained the quote and options, Robyn handled the scheduling and payment process, and Michael came out for the installation. Everyone was professional, efficient, and friendly throughout the whole process. I highly recommend them if you need any pool work done.

That said, I don't know if it is the lack of consideration and budget from the HOA or the lack of particular expertise and knowledge of the on-site technicians -- but our pool has gone from crystal clear blue to green algae bloom toxicity. The technicians have been asked on-site to scrub and vacuum - -and we were told, that's not my job. So I guess in our case, the pool is not quite so brilliant. Maricopa Environmental Services even came out and said that while the PH and chlorine are satisfactory, anyone could get sick or infected from the algae and mold that is not scrubbed. Hopefully they will do better or recommend to the HOA a better servicing. Aint NO ONE wanna get into that pool....look at the photos. Hopefully Brilliant Pools can help make our pool brilliant again. The pump had failed two weeks prior, and my replacement was still out on a scenic tour of Route 66. Austin notified the scheduling dept of the en route pump and they were ready to install it when it arrived. The pump arrived at 7pm last night and by 7 am today, Raymond had it installed, he replaced the water leveler and within 30 minutes the pool was up and running. Thank you Raymond !!! And Thank you Austin!!! My pool is looking good once again. So incredibly glad that I called. Two weeks into my contract and my pool has received professional care. Do I recommend Brilliant Pools???? Dillion is extremely knowledgeable of all things Pool Care. I use them for filter cleaning and anything repair. What I like is each time Dillion comes out he teaches me more about my pool.
