    As first time pool owners Dolphin Pools definitely exceeded our expectations! We could not be happier with the end result of our pool and other additions to our backyard. Joe Ayers was our salesman and not only is he great at his job but just a very friendly personable guy. Special thank you also to the other staff involved in our project - Brenda, Nick, Danny and Maria-They were all great as well as the subcontractor crews.     Dolphin Pools transformed our backyard into an oasis! We knew the steep slope and rocky terrain were going to be difficult to contend with, but Dolphin was always right there with a solution. Everyone, from the incredible office staff to the field supervisors, was friendly and communicative. Anyone who has ever undertaken an overwhelming construction job will tell you communication is key! On that note, our family would like to extend a huge "Thank you!" To Jake Wozniak. His professionalism and courtesy were second to none. While Jake was not our direct field super, he was our point of contact when unexpected challenges arose. He was patient, and he made sure that our final product was beautiful and functional. We also want to give an extended shout out to Jonathan, the mason/artisan who crafted our massive retaining wall. He was always thinking ahead to what we would need after the project was finished. His insights and suggestions turned a necessary element into an aesthetically pleasing attraction. It is no surprise that Jake and Jonathan have a great working relationship. Last, but certainly not least, we want to thank all of the wonderful office and construction staff who helped turn our vision into a reality. Joe, Trevor, Brenda, Gloria, Tania, Katie, Maria, Gina, and Jake: Thank you for all of your tireless efforts! This project was our unattainable dream, and you each played a part in bringing it to life. Your combined talents transformed our yard and our lives in less than six months time. Thank you!     We moved to AZ from back East, anxious to enjoy that all year round backyard lifestyle. We are now at the finish line of our pool/yard being complete, just waiting for turf & final touches. Beyond excited to finally swim, enjoy our NEW Dolphin Pool, Spa & Fire Pit backyard paradise (check out photo - once turf has been installed will share New Pics of ENTIRE yard). Shout out to Brenda in the office who was always a pleasure to work with and got back to me in a timely manner if I had any questions. Friendly advice, with such a large investment, do your due diligence, shop around, educate yourself in the process of how AZ pool installation works - then call Dolphin!

    I do not believe there has been an instance in my life where I have felt more angry and unable to properly express myself. Please bear with me as I try to write out my frustration and warn people. ***Please do not go through Dolphin Pools***Save yourself time, money and heartache***To start, my pool was 120k which I paid the company ahead of schedule in cash. Big mistake as I was informed, "this could speed things up." Though there are many variables regarding construction I will not even begin to say I understand, our situation is deliberate disrespect and laziness. Our pool process started out with competent individuals Jake and Tony. Once crew and a replacement GC Trevor took place the entire project went south to even present day. I found myself being a project manager and constantly asking for updates on what is happening next. It's clear they had no idea. For reference my pool has been, "complete" for two months. Throughout the project there were many delays and I had to chase communication up to five whole business days to figure out next steps or what was going on. I called, I emailed, I left voicemails and texted my project manager and Dolphin personnel- often. Each time it seemed like the staff had a trained track to tell myself or my husband to just get us off the phone. Fast forward much headache and 6 months goes by, we're wondering when pending items like stained travertine, rust stained travertine from workers tools left for days on end, clean up, poorly laid pebble sheen, pebbles sheen stains to our back wall stone, recessed spa jet housing units and also missing jet housing units would be resolved. We were later informed some gentlemen(can't remember his name) was going to stop by and show us how to use our pump. Keep in mind we still don't have a completed pool in our eyes with pending issues we sent in emails and we're pending replies on. We just felt lucky to have some form of Dolphin contact and steps to complete the project. So this gent shows up, barely shows up, does not really show us how to do things yet very quickly shows the key panel and asks my husband if we have questions. My husband expresses he's not sure but will try and become more familiar and contact him if he has questions. This uniformed/gent has us sign a paper regarding the pool pump and leaves. Meanwhile we touch base with Dolphin AGAIN wondering when our chance for pending concerns will be addressed. After days we are finally informed, the paper you signed puts you into warranty phase as that was your final walk through and chance to express concerns." Mind you, we don't have any communication of this, we never ever had a walk through and our emails/texts and phone calls are still pending and not acknowledged by any Dolphin employee. Naturally I am concerned there has to be a mix up and contact Gloria yet again regarding pending concerns. It is then the email staff Gloria(least helpful and very sneaky Dolphin employee, BE AWARE!!!!!!) virtually disregards me RUDELY doesn't answer my email questions or phone calls and dismisses every single questions or concerns I have within the written email. I felt hopeless. We were left with what felt like the need to fight. Fight for our rights for incomplete items and a functional pool to be addressed. Since March 1st week we have been battling for changes/solutions and above all- here's the kicker, the pool pump and spa has never functioned properly and continues to stop working IF we even get the pool pump to work. Please read that and understand that again- our pool pump, in floor system and spa does not work. So in addition to aesthetic and construction pending items the actual functionality of the pool does not work. This means we cannot use our pool nor our spa. Our pool has been, "done" in the eyes of Dolphin for 2 months and we have reported this specific/vital issue 4 times. We are still without a working pool, not to mention the apps, the lights and other concerns have still not been properly addressed nor fixed. I am thankful for Stacy the pool pump warranty coordinator(entirely different company than Dolphin) for trying to help, but there's no solution and my pool remains rotting and non functioning. This review cannot possibly put into perspective the amount of hours I've lost trying to coordinate, call and fix my issues. I can not advocate more for myself or a solution and remain feeling extremely helpless and regret building this pool to every extent. Wish I could at least use it one time but have yet to and am about to cancel family plans for the 3rd in hopes to get this pool working. So please, please, please do not go through this company. Dolphin Pools is a scam. Run and do not waste a single moment of your life on this poor excuse of a business!!!!! Dolphin, I will never forget the way you have made me feel as a person through this entire process and hope not a single person has to ever feel the way I do regarding a pool build.

    As soon as you meet Dustin, there's this securely feeling he portrays! Dolphin Pools has been a super understanding and easy to work with. My sales rep Dustin has been nothing but excellent, he helped bring my dream pool to life, while we are currently starting the process, everything has been safe to speak, feel and think with them. Dustin explained everything in detail and as far as I can tell he left nothing out. His ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas in written communication is impressive. He was and has continued to be very attentive, I'm sure the company enjoys having Dustin, you can clearly see his willingness to demonstrate strong commitment! I'd say keep up the growth mindset!

    How long is the construction process after the dig day? My dig day is set for feb 11th of 2022 and am curious if it will be ready come summer time.

    Every situation is different and given the lack of supplies, weather delays and trying to find people to do the work, you might not be swimming this summer. Our dig was July 7th and we didn't have water in the pool until Dec. 2nd.

    The owner of this company, Rod, got right back to me within minutes. I was a little panicked…read morebecause my pool wasn't operating properly and I was about to have a large pool party. Despite the fact it was after hours (evening before the party), Rod actually spent 20 minutes with me via FaceTime to diagnose the problem, assist me with repairing a valve and priming a pump. He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. Thank you!!!

In the end, they were also super flexible with my schedule and needs. They did a fantastic job and answered all my questions while here, even going so far as to explain all the parts and operation of the sand filter midway through the process. I appreciate all the help, flexibility and information!

    In March of 2024 we bought a used Caldera spa from Desert Hot Tubs in Phoenix. The salesman we…read moreworked with was helpful and answered a lot of questions when we decided on the spa we were getting. I noticed it had eight speakers in it, and I asked the salesman whose name was Chris, whether the spa had Bluetooth and he assured me that it did. We bought the spa with the understanding it had Bluetooth. He gave me warranty paperwork which indicated the sound system was covered for 6 months as a used spa. When we got the spot installed at our house, we discovered that the Bluetooth did not work and Desert hot tubs sent out a succession of service people who told me I just didn't know how to operate it. (I do know how to operate Bluetooth!) and then explained to me that in a later session that they didn't have the parts to fix it and after waiting for over six months to get someone to come out and fix it, I received a call from Tricia, their service manager, who assured me that they were going to honor their commitment to fix the Bluetooth in the spa that I purchased even though more than six months had expired. She admitted their service department had dropped the ball. One week later I received a call from Tricia telling me that they were not going to honor their promise to fix the spa because the contract said Desert Hot Tubs was not obligated to honor verbal promises...only what is stated in the contract. They said this spa was no longer under warranty and that I had not read the fine print in the contract which said that regardless of the salesman's promises the only thing that really counts is the contract. They also told me the salesman is no longer with them...as if that had some bearing on the situation. I've been in business a very long time and any ethical business that I've worked with always honors the promises the salespeople make, particularly in something this straightforward. They initially acted as if they should be responsible for fixing the Bluetooth and then later decided that they weren't going to fix the Bluetooth. I would strongly recommend not ever buying any equipment from Desert Hot Tubs. I would further recommend not trusting anything that any of their sales people tell you. And finally, I would recommend staying away from a business whose ownership responds to customers in this fashion.
