I started out with one designer who ended up making an untimely departure. I was turned over to Isaac. The first guy didn't come look at the yard so I wasn't informed I'd need a retaining wall (even though I told that guy the yard had a slope up). When we were ready for construction, the project manager came out and advised me we'd need a retaining all. Long story short, Isaac took great care of us and Dolphin did us a great service. We were one day shy of 60 days from dig to complete fill. My pool is beautiful and I highly recommend Isaac and Dolphin! read more

Absolutely Amazing! Not only did Dolphin Pools meet our expectations, they blew them completely out of the water (pun intended). I don't use words like spectacular, incredible, amazing, and awesome lightly. The process of building a pool is groundbreaking, in the literal sense. The timeline for this process took roughly 3 months from the dig to jumping into the water for a swim. Allow me to remind you that the process is never going to be perfect for such a large project. There are many stages to this massive commitment, such as designing, mapping, digging, plumbing, electrical lines, concrete, travertine, city permits, dealing with HOAs (and the list goes on). None of this is going to go without delays, corrections, ordering additional parts, weather issues, etc. That said, the experience with Dolphin Pools was nearly flawless every step of the way. My wife and I did our research, and based on Google/Yelp reviews, we decided to contact Dolphin Pools. From what I understand, there are a number of designers, but we had the great fortune of having Drew Siler assist us with designing our dream pool. From the moment we met Drew, we were instantly impressed and quickly moved forward with the project. Not only is Drew kind, honest, and thoughtful, but very professional. We had a plan, and Drew walked us through every detail with 3D pool design renderings. He listened to our wants, but always kept us grounded with what was possible within our property and budget. Drew made himself available at all times to answer our questions and continued to do so through the entire process. He told us it was possible to have the pool completed by my wife's birthday in September if everything went smoothly, and we made it. He is truly a man of his word and we couldn't thank him enough. I have to mention the excellent staff at Dolphin Pools as well. I would like to thank Nick, our Field Project Manager, who managed the many crews throughout the project. Also to the team managers Katie, Brenda, Laurie, Maria, and Tania that kept us informed through text, emails, and phone calls every step of the way. Building a pool can be stressful, but I went into this project with the intention of practicing patience so both myself and the contractor could have a smoother experience. I'm so glad I did, because overall, Dolphin Pools made the process a very positive one. I worked with Andrew as my salesperson--he was professional, extremely responsive, and stayed with me through the build as an excellent liaison. The only surprise was learning that Dolphin requires cash payments (no credit cards), which I wish had been communicated upfront. Other than that, Andrew was fantastic. Dolphin uses subcontractors for each phase, so the timeline isn't always fast--you get excited when one phase is done, then have to wait a bit for the next. Patience is key! Brenda was amazing at keeping me updated and doing her best to help with scheduling. She's warm, friendly, and truly keeps you in the loop. Tania was also excellent with communication and customer service. Our project manager, Adam, was great--he gave helpful tips and communicated well. Big high five to him! And Jake Wozniak really stood out when a few hiccups came up; he stepped in, solved problems quickly, and made sure we felt taken care of. Unfortunately, the last person in the process, Maria did not live up to the standards of her colleagues. Maria doesn't communicate well. She's blunt and cold. She doesn't seem to care. Had I let my interaction with her determine my experience with Dolphin, I'd be rating this differently. But because the majority of the team was outstanding and I truly love the result, I'm still giving Dolphin 5 stars. Pricing was very fair, the pool looks incredible, and I'd recommend Dolphin Pools without hesitation. We had a pool built by this company during Covid and it took almost over a year to complete in my fire pit had to be redone three times. My wife asked multiple times for the remote control that operates the pool from inside the house and no one could ever figure out how to get it to work and we still are without a remote control and now they want to charge us $500 would never recommend this company as a pool company. I do not believe there has been an instance in my life where I have felt more angry and unable to properly express myself. Please bear with me as I try to write out my frustration and warn people. ***Please do not go through Dolphin Pools***Save yourself time, money and heartache***To start, my pool was 120k which I paid the company ahead of schedule in cash. Big mistake as I was informed, "this could speed things up." Though there are many variables regarding construction I will not even begin to say I understand, our situation is deliberate disrespect and laziness. Our pool process started out with competent individuals Jake and Tony. Once crew and a replacement GC Trevor took place the entire project went south to even present day. I found myself being a project manager and constantly asking for updates on what is happening next. It's clear they had no idea. For reference my pool has been, "complete" for two months. Throughout the project there were many delays and I had to chase communication up to five whole business days to figure out next steps or what was going on. I called, I emailed, I left voicemails and texted my project manager and Dolphin personnel- often. Each time it seemed like the staff had a trained track to tell myself or my husband to just get us off the phone. Fast forward much headache and 6 months goes by, we're wondering when pending items like stained travertine, rust stained travertine from workers tools left for days on end, clean up, poorly laid pebble sheen, pebbles sheen stains to our back wall stone, recessed spa jet housing units and also missing jet housing units would be resolved. We were later informed some gentlemen(can't remember his name) was going to stop by and show us how to use our pump. Keep in mind we still don't have a completed pool in our eyes with pending issues we sent in emails and we're pending replies on. We just felt lucky to have some form of Dolphin contact and steps to complete the project. So this gent shows up, barely shows up, does not really show us how to do things yet very quickly shows the key panel and asks my husband if we have questions. My husband expresses he's not sure but will try and become more familiar and contact him if he has questions. This uniformed/gent has us sign a paper regarding the pool pump and leaves. Meanwhile we touch base with Dolphin AGAIN wondering when our chance for pending concerns will be addressed. After days we are finally informed, the paper you signed puts you into warranty phase as that was your final walk through and chance to express concerns." Mind you, we don't have any communication of this, we never ever had a walk through and our emails/texts and phone calls are still pending and not acknowledged by any Dolphin employee. Naturally I am concerned there has to be a mix up and contact Gloria yet again regarding pending concerns. It is then the email staff Gloria(least helpful and very sneaky Dolphin employee, BE AWARE!!!!!!) virtually disregards me RUDELY doesn't answer my email questions or phone calls and dismisses every single questions or concerns I have within the written email. I felt hopeless. We were left with what felt like the need to fight. Fight for our rights for incomplete items and a functional pool to be addressed. Since March 1st week we have been battling for changes/solutions and above all- here's the kicker, the pool pump and spa has never functioned properly and continues to stop working IF we even get the pool pump to work. Please read that and understand that again- our pool pump, in floor system and spa does not work. So in addition to aesthetic and construction pending items the actual functionality of the pool does not work. This means we cannot use our pool nor our spa. Our pool has been, "done" in the eyes of Dolphin for 2 months and we have reported this specific/vital issue 4 times. We are still without a working pool, not to mention the apps, the lights and other concerns have still not been properly addressed nor fixed. I am thankful for Stacy the pool pump warranty coordinator(entirely different company than Dolphin) for trying to help, but there's no solution and my pool remains rotting and non functioning. This review cannot possibly put into perspective the amount of hours I've lost trying to coordinate, call and fix my issues. I can not advocate more for myself or a solution and remain feeling extremely helpless and regret building this pool to every extent. Wish I could at least use it one time but have yet to and am about to cancel family plans for the 3rd in hopes to get this pool working. So please, please, please do not go through this company. Dolphin Pools is a scam. Run and do not waste a single moment of your life on this poor excuse of a business!!!!! Dolphin, I will never forget the way you have made me feel as a person through this entire process and hope not a single person has to ever feel the way I do regarding a pool build. read more

Went in several months ago to learn about the process of building a pool for a new build. Over several weeks we went through the design process and had it pretty much complete for our yard. Was just about finished with the quote, was just waiting for the last estimates from their 3rd party contractors to build a BBQ island and articulate grass installation. Never heard back from anyone after this. Sent several emails over the next few weeks asking if the quote was finished as we wanted to get the process moving so the backyard could start. Tried staying patient but after 2 months of being in the dark, we had already move on. We've moved on with another pool builder and I'm glad it's not with Dolphin. If we were ghosted that early in the project, I can't imagine what would've happened if the construction phase had started. read more

I've had 5 pools built over my 30 years of home ownership. I've learned that while price, construction, and customer service are important, It is the warranty and is the pool builder willing to stand behind their product, that is most important. My most recent pool was built by Dolphin Pools. Five stars are not enough to award them. Yes they did great on price, construction, and customer service, but it is Maria in warranty where they shine. As with any big project, I needed to call and request warranty service. Maria was fantastic. But where she really shined was when a long crack developed on the cool deck. I was warned that the soil in Anthem was an issue, so I expected to be told I was on my own. Not the case with Maria. As you can see in the photos of before and after, the deck looks like new. They came and did everything in one day, and with the exception of a new looking deck, you couldn't tell anyone had worked on the pool. A BIG thanks to Maria and Jeff for going above and beyond. When Kimble van der Steen came to the house, he explained the process and answered all my questions. He was very efficient walking through the back yard ( it's a horse property and lots are going on) He made his observations about the landscape and took all the pictures he need for accurate design and permits.
