The owner of this company, Rod, got right back to me within minutes. I was a little panicked…read morebecause my pool wasn't operating properly and I was about to have a large pool party. Despite the fact it was after hours (evening before the party), Rod actually spent 20 minutes with me via FaceTime to diagnose the problem, assist me with repairing a valve and priming a pump. He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. Thank you!!!

I highly recommend Boulder Valley Pools!…read more The level of professionalism and thoroughness from Paul was exceptional. I had issues with both my vacuum head and hoses and Paul took a lot of time to explain exactly what was going on with my pool setup. He walked me through how the equipment operates and pointed out warning signs to prevent further issues. Paul genuinely cares about the quality of his work and even followed up shortly after the visit to verify that the system was running smoothly and that I was completely satisfied. If you are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused pool service, look no further!

1 Star Extremely…read moredisappointing experience. I contacted this pool company because I needed a basic quote for a crack in my pool. I was told someone would come out to take a look, but no one showed up. I called again and was told they would come out the next day. Again, no one showed up. I then received an apology and was told I was penciled in for Tuesday and that they could probably provide me with a quote if I sent pictures, my address, and my personal information. I did exactly that and provided everything they requested. Still no quote. I eventually called again because I never received the promised email. I was then told that they thought they had already given me the quote. They hadn't. And, once again, no one came out on Tuesday as promised. At this point, it was just excuse after excuse after excuse. I spent my time making calls, sending pictures and information, and trying to accommodate their schedule, only to never receive the basic service I originally requested. I honestly don't understand how this company has so many positive reviews based on my experience. Regardless, I would never use or recommend this company. If getting a simple estimate is this difficult, I certainly wouldn't trust them with an actual pool repair.

Stay far away from this company. Months of poor service, false reports, and zero accountability…read more They let our salt cell become caked with scale, doubled the salt level to dangerous levels (forcing us to drain half the pool), and nearly shut off flow to our heater--costing us weeks without a working spa and a service bill we shouldn't have paid. We caught techs on camera skipping basic tasks like brushing and basket cleaning, staging photos for reports, and even taking drinks from our fridge without asking. Filter cleanings were overpriced, rushed, and messy, with bills coming early and no real work done. Unprofessional, unreliable, and unethical. The only thing they did reliably was remove our safety net for maintenance--which in hindsight was not worth the damage, hassle, and dishonesty.

I contacted them on Friday afternoon. They were at the house Monday afternoon…read more It was a bit confusing because it's not my house; it's my son's and he rents it out. He had been taking care of pool maintenance himself but this summer the pool wouldn't get clear and stayed green. My son has had bad experiences with contractors so he didn't want to hire anyone. Being an avid yelper I asked him if I could find a pool company to go out and I'd pay for it if the results were not successful. Well, great news! The results were successful so I don't need to cover it :) My son was happy to pay for quality assistance. He thinks he can now handle cleaning for the winter, after getting some advice from the tech. And we will hire Clear as Crystal to do the maintenance next Summer. I really appreciate the willingness to come out, fix the issue, and explain it to my son so he can learn. He is a young man and these experiences are important. Especially as a fairly new home owner and landlord. They charged a reasonable fee and didn't pressure him to sign up for regular service, although like I said, we probably will- at least for the warmer months. Thank you for the speedy response, quality work, and willing advisement.
