If you need your pool resurfaced, Gio is the best. They did a great job, fast and painless. Very happy with the quality of work and the knowledge Cactus Pools brought to our project. Highly recommend Gio and his team. Pricing was very fair!

Off to a good start with pool cleaner still under warranty needing replacement parts. Carlos worked on Pentair cleaner but although it worked for a short time, I will be replacing with newer model for better efficiency. Used services 15 years. Plan to continue for time being.

I've been shopping here for 25 years. I used to love coming here because Mike and Ann only carried…read morethe best of the best when it comes to chemicals and parts. And they really knew their stuff. They also understood that people don't wanna spend money on products that don't work so they only carried the best products, even if that meant different brands . However, they sold the business. Since then, everything's changed and not for the better. They have maybe a quarter of the chemicals that they used to have. If even that much. Brands I used to go only there for they no longer carry. Perfect example is I went in and I was looking around and the guy at the desk asked me if he could help me find something. And I told him I was just looking to see what chemicals they had. And he pointed to three areas and said there's the liquid chlorine there's the tabs and there's the shock. Seriously? Do you think chlorine is the only thing that goes in the pool to keep it balanced? So I asked them. What about algicide. Their reply oh, we sold the last bottle of that this morning. At this time of year in Phoenix, a pool supply store should always have algicide. So I asked him how many brands of algicide do you carry? The reply was one. I asked him about the gel for removing hard water stains at the tile line. He had no clue what I was talking about. Mike and Anne used to carry this really good gel. I think it was called scale be gone or something like that. It was thick so you could put it on with a scrubby and let it sit for a few minutes and then wash it off or use a scrubby and wash it off. (wearing gloves, of course.) They had only one creepy Crawley box and I think it was possibly the display box. Even their brushes, are substandard narrow instead of wide and not really suitable for pebble tech. They wouldn't last long. I hate having to go to Leslie's but it's only a mile and a half away and at least half the stuff they have is decent. I guess I'm going to have to look for another privately owned pool supply company. It's really a shame, but I don't think EverKlear is going to last very long at this rate. Especially being summer and them not having very many chemicals. They even changed the liquid chlorine brand to some brand I've never heard of before

Fowler's Pools - Tile replaceed

Fowler's Pools

In late March 2024 we contracted with Fowler's to service our pool, spa and water feature. We…read morechose them because they had a very high rating on Yelp. During the initial months, their service was outstanding. At their recommendation we had them replace multiple components to our system. Their initial performance resulted in me writing a five star review on Yelp. In the past year, their service for us had deteriorated significantly. I contacted management multiple times regarding various issues. I complained when they replaced a very competent service technician with an individual who was marginal at best. After several months, he was replaced by another individual who was only minimally better. During the early months of our contract, Fowler's agreed to clean our water feature filter two times per month at no charge. Recently we noticed a reduction in the flow from the waterfall for our water feature and asked the technician to clean the filter. He replied "I'll do it next week". Several days later the water flow stopped altogether. This resulted in another call to management who subsequently informed me that the two times per month cleaning of the filter had not been done for the past five months. He then told me that they were no longer honoring their previous commitment and would only clean the filter every four months with a cost to us of more than $200. If additional cleanings were needed, we would be charged an additional fee. At that point, I decided to look for other vendors. The two that I interviewed both said that the water feature was full of algae. This was without any prompting by us. I contracted with a new vendor who cleaned the water feature filter and removed the algae. The time to clean the filter was seven minutes. To jeprodize a very lucrative contract for a seven minute task makes me question Fowler's business expertise. In retrospect, after spending over $13,000 with Fowler's in less than two years, I realize that they were not the company for us. I gave them more chances than most and they failed to perform to my expectations. I now know why they have recently received poor Yelp ratings from other individuals. On their website, they failed to include Yelp ratings. I wonder why!!! Richard J.

Very unhappy with Fowler Pools. I paid them thousands of dollars to install pool equipment and it…read morehas broken down a lot in the first few months. What's most upsetting is they don't take responsibility - they blame everything except themselves and their product/install. Usually a company that is proud of their work would make sure the problem is fixed the first time it breaks, but nope, this "brand new product" keeps breaking and they are utterly shameless each time they come out and never say sorry, but just start blaming other things. If they want to fix this, take your product back and give me my money back. Just like your product/install, the trust is not fixable.
