Great pool store. They listen and recommend products that work. Very knowledgeable, honest and don't try to up-sale the customer.

After doing some research and visiting several stores, we ended the day at Sunset spas. We met with Mitch and immediately felt at ease and not pressured to take advantage of their Black Friday sales. It was at that point we knew we found the right place. The process was easy and seamless! We can't wait for delivery of our new spa and look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

I know this is long but it may help you when it comes to making the right decision on your…read morepurchase. I've tried to work this out with Sunset Spa, but they have decided to ignore all my emails and calls, including Dave Rempfer the owner of Sunset Spa. NOTE: The ROC of Arizona has no licensed on file for Sunset Spa to perform work on Spa's. This is what the ROC of AZ told me, so now I am having that investigated by the ROC. Before they work on your spa ask for their license number. Also, get it in writing from them that they will provide you service, if you need it after your warranty runs out. Do not take their word for it (see attached email where they advised not servicing out of warranty spas). The company was okay until they damaged my spa after doing a repair on it and refuse to correct it. They want me to clean up the damage or pay them to do the work. I tried to work this out with Matt from the Goodyear Store who referred me to Sunset Spa's Customer Service Team, who refused to take ownership of what they did to my spa, instead they state its Water Chemistry that caused the issue. I've been using the same water for 5 years. The issue is they came out and did a repair that I brought to their attention 2 years ago when I was under warranty. They kept giving me chemicals and telling me to try this, than finally they took ownership of the issue and sent a tech to fix it. This tech used a Blue Glue Adhesive in the repair process, which was huge because after 2 years the problem kept getting worse. After the repair was done the spa had several leaks, which I took video of but cannot attach here. They sent the tech back out, she repaired the leak with a Blue substance. A couple days later my spa has blue particles all over the place that are coming out from the jets and then I felt the inside of the spa and 100% of the spa include inside and outside of all the jets with something that feels like a low grade sandpaper, however per another company I was told its the adhesive they used and that she filled it immediately after repairing it. Since no one would respond I then went into the store in Goodyear and Asked Matt if I could speak to Dave the owner. Matt refused to give me any contact for Dave and said he would have Dave call me. I forwarded all my correspondence on this matter to Matt's email address and told Matt Please have him call me asap. No contact from Dave, so I reported them to the BBB at https://www.bbb.org/us/az Finally Dave Calls me, but its not to fix what they did, I don't even think Dave truly realizes that this is a real problem from the repair. All Dave would say to me over and over again "You reported me to the BBB. . OMG" over and over. When I realize his call was not to help me but to beat me up, I said "Yes Dave. What did you expect me to do? No one would return my call or emails. My spa has damage from the repair you all did". However, all Dave could say was, "I'm going to sue you in Small Claims Court". I then told Dave, "you cannot sue the truth. I have proof". Dave than said "I don't care I'm responding to this BBB notice and writing it off as a loss". I am just shocked at how closed off he was to "we have an issue here". Their OWN Customer Service team (see email screenshot) told me to use Not 1 but 2 FULL BOTTLES of PH DOWN and to wait 2 days before draining it, cleaning it and refilling it. They state in their email to expect Blue Flaking. If you look up what PH DOWN is used for, PH DOWN is used to remove Glue Adhesive and if you look up what color the adhesive is that Spa Companies use, It's BLUE. So, Sunset Spa is 100% telling me how to remove the glue that was used in the repair process, BUT than telling me the Water that I've been using in this SPA for 5 years with NEVER having an issue with is the problem. I am shocked at how closed minded Dave is on this issue. This is the Truth. My problem with me doing the work and not them is that PH DOWN Removes Glue, so if they used the wrong stuff to put all the plumbing/piping back together on my spa than what happens if I do the work and it leaks because PH DOWN soaked for 2 days dissolving it. Just beware. If Dave wants to rethink this and have a civil conversation as opposed to yelling at me for reporting to the BBB and threaten to sue me over the truth, than I'm open to it, but if he can't see the problem and own it, well we will not get anywhere. Very sad it came to this. Just know if you have an issue and if the company will not work with you, you can report to the BBB at: https://www.bbb.org/us/az Also the Attorney Generals Office at: https://www.azag.gov/ to file a consumer complaint. I am shocked that Dave decided to bully and threaten me with Small Claims Court, but you can't sue the Truth. The truth is on my side and my spa in its current condition is the proof.

They poorly attempted to fix the issues, then blamed me or the manufacturer (Wellis) instead of taking responsibility. Upon installation it was discovered that was a leak and water was leaking into our top panel control. In addition, when we purchased the spa we were told it had wifi capability controls installed (which turned out to be a lie). The owner told us he would order a new top control panel from Dynasty and would also install the wifi module for free since he said it was already in there (second lie). After 2 months of excuse after excuse from the owner (throwing Dynasty Spas under the bus, saying they would answer calls, shipped the part, but it never got there, it got there but he used it on another spa, etc. etc., etc.), I decided to contact Dynasty myself. They were responsive, opened a warranty claim for us, shipped us the part free of charge. We then had to contact Southwest to get it installed. I tried emailing, calling, etc. for a while with zero response. Finally went in person (we live an hour away) and confronted them. They wouldn't even acknowledge responsibility. But after a come to Jesus meeting with me, they installed the part. Needless to say, Dynasty is getting us another distributor who can do work on the spa should we need it in the future. Moral of this story....DO NOT DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND WITH SOUTHWEST HOT TUB WAREHOUSE OR SAM JARRETT EVER! Here is the response I got "We are very sorry that you feel this way! We tried to buy your replacement topside from Dynasty Spas (a company we no longer do business with) but were refused by Dynasty Spas due to ongoing legal issues we are having with them (this review will benefit us in that pursuit). We actually purchased your needed part (a new topside) from another company and still have yet to receive it. When we delivered your spa everything worked great at delivery and you received everything promised in your contract! We were contacted on 2/8/26 about your replacement part arriving on approximately 2/11/26. Within 24 hours of you receiving the part, we installed it at no cost. Your spa was completely operation the entire time you have owed it. Sorry you got caught in the middle but we really appreciate your business. We are happy to assist you in the future!" Since I can't respond to your response to my comment, I will do it here: It would have been really nice if you would have told us that you were no longer doing business with Dynasty because of legal issues. I would love to know when that came about because if it was BEFORE you sold us a Dynasty spa, that would have been key since you can no longer get parts on a spa that is warrantied for at least a year. It's dirty business. AND, A KEY PIECE OF INFO YOU LEFT OUT OF YOUR CYA RESPONSE IS THAT WE NOTIFIED YOU THAT THE PART WE ORDERED WOULD BE DELIVERED. AND YOU BETTER BELEIVE YOU WERE DOING THE WORK FREE OF CHARGE.....IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY!!!!!~ And, you gave us a run around for 2 months! Here's an idea...BE HONEST WITH US. I don't appreciate this. I understand business issues come up for a myriad of reasons. I understand that. I was a CFO for many years of my career. It's just sad that we had to go through Dynasty ourselves. All you had to do was tell us the truth, we would have done exactly what we did. Call Dynasty, get the part and you put it in. WHY WAS THAT SO HARD? Grow some integrity.

We interviewed 10 different pool companies before making our decision, and Thunderbird Pools ultimately delivered exactly what we were looking for on time, and on budget! The design process was outstanding from the very beginning. Jeff Hyler (our designer) was incredibly knowledgeable, creative, and professional. During the very first onsite visit, he measured the space and produced an initial design complete with pricing and visual renderings. That immediate concept helped us clearly understand what was possible within our budget and set Thunderbird apart from every other company we interviewed. None of the other vendors offered anything close to the same level of interactive design capability or onsite visualization tools, and it made an excellent first impression. After comparing proposals from multiple pool builders, including pricing, pool size, and features, we ultimately chose Thunderbird Pools because of the quality of the design process, our confidence in the team, the professionalism of the company and staff, and the overall value offered. The showroom in Surprise offered various color options and the designer Jeff was extremely helpful in making selections! Before construction and permitting began, communication was excellent. Once the project started, Joe Hernandez was onsite regularly and did an exceptional job overseeing the subcontractors and maintaining quality control. His experience was obvious, and he consistently paid attention to details, communicated expectations clearly, and kept the project moving efficiently. We always felt confident that the schedule, workmanship, and overall project quality were being managed closely. We were also impressed with the subcontractors Thunderbird used throughout the project. They were skilled, professional, punctual, and worked efficiently according to the company's online schedule and project portal. They never left construction debris when they were done and tried to keep the area very clean. Thunderbird's internal project managers also communicated consistently through phone calls and emails, keeping us informed during each phase of construction. Overall, the company demonstrated excellent organization, communication, and project management from start to finish. Most importantly, the project stayed within our target budget, and the overall construction process went smoothly in the timeline anticipated. After completion, Brandon Thompson handled the equipment startup, testing, and training process. Brandon was outstanding , highly knowledgeable about all the pool systems, thorough in testing functionality, and extremely helpful with maintenance and scheduling recommendations. He not only completed the initial startup and training but also returned multiple times afterward to ensure everything was operating perfectly and to answer any additional questions we had. In the end, the project was completed on time, on budget, and exceeded our expectations. With just a little more upfront clarity regarding owner's site pre-grading responsibilities and protection of existing property during construction, the experience would have been beyond expectations. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering building a pool.

The entire project ran like clockwork. The planning and execution was seamless. Your work crews are craftsmen, very skilled and meticulous. Gary, the project started with your creative design. You listened very closely to what features we wanted and you incorporated those ideas into a masterpiece we now proudly call our backyard. Throughout the project, your team was very responsive to any concerns or questions we had. As our daily point of contact, Mike was wonderful to work with. To say that you and your staff went beyond our wildest dreams in the quality of work and customer service would be an understatement. Our backyard project also included a spa built and installed by your company, Spas by Design. The quality of your spa is untouchable. Also, I can't say enough about Bob Campo, your sales manager. I recommend Triton for any project in their scope as they never left us, even communicating weekends when new project issues or learning how to use the products you purchase arise. Lara Mazzone lmazzone11@gmail.com 2:58PM (3 minutes ago)…read moreto me We hired Triton to install a new pool pump and filter. Although the equipment initially appeared to work, a licensed electrician later found serious code and safety violations in the pool subpanel, including improper grounding/neutral, disconnected GFCI protection, circuits tied together against code, and insufficient voltage reaching the equipment. The electrician stated the system should not have been energized in this condition. They sent out a tech named Travis, who opened the subpanel and said, "We only touched these two wires." Following this appointment with Travis, the owner Triston called and stated they did not even open the subpanel during installation. I told him that's strange because Travis was just here yesterday telling me what two wires you touched! If they didn't open the subpanel that means new equipment was connected and powered without verifying the electrical source was safe or code-compliant, and no warning was provided. The owner, Triston, refused to accept responsibility or cover the cost of proper repairs, and their explanations changed multiple times. If they did open the subpanel, there were all sorts of issues that were not disclosed to us prior to energizing the pump and filter. Either option is not professional. Triton's Google reviews also appear far more positive than reviews on other platforms, where customer experiences more closely matched ours. I recommend reading reviews across platforms before deciding. As a result, I am now forced to pursue resolution through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors ROC to get this fixed properly.
