I wish I was writing this review about the food and maybe I'd be able to give this place more stars but unfortunately that's not the case. I had this place bookmarked in my yelp for a while since I sometimes do laundry at the place this is attached to. I was so excited to try it since this place has a solid 5 stars with 50 reviews. I was doing laundry and had my son with me, it was about 3:45pm on a Friday. We were getting hungry so I figured, why not try this spot. When I walked in there was another customer sitting at the countertop talking with the man and woman who worked there. She said she wanted a cheeseburger to which the man said " Get the handmade burger instead, it's much bigger and better." To which she replied, " But I don't want something big, I really just want a cheeseburger." This went on for about 5 minutes, him trying to convince her to get the handmade burger and her constantly refusing. She finally gave up, got up and said she'd think about it and left. I don't blame her. Why I was still there? I don't know, that should have sent me off but my kid was hungry and so was I. So I went to the counter. The man, the woman and a teenager were standing behind it. The kid and the woman looked bored and the man was prepping something and seemed totally uninterested. I asked for an order of side fries and without even looking up the man said "We don't have that." I asked why if it's on their menu, picking it up and pointing to where it had the item. He looks up and said, " It only comes with food, you need to order a meal." I was confused and starting to get irritated. I said, "So....you don't have it or you won't do a side order?" He had enough of my questions and yelled, "We don't have it! It's not in yet, you can have it if you order food!" Get your story straight dude. This man was a total jerk, trying to get the customer before me to spend money and not wanting to serve me and yelling because I ordered a side of fries. Hey, if you're reading this- I was going to order more. The side order of fries was for my kid and I was going to order a full meal but since you were such a jerk I walked out as soon as you were done yelling. I'm never going back and now people will see how you treat customers. If you treat customers with this kind of disrespect it doesn't matter how good your food is. read more

I have no idea why this place is so highly rated. I brought my husband over and all we had was disappointment. The menu is very limited (nothing like a WORLD) and lacking of any vegetarian options. I ended up ordering a chicken sandwich and my husband got a homemade burger as the staff suggested (they say it is the best). My sandwich is very dry and not carrying much flavor, and even worse I FOUND A HAIR in the parsley sauce!! My husband's burger is totally mediocre that he was not happy that we drove all the way at night for this place. Really wanted to like this placed because the reviews are great and a German sausage sandwich sounded like something out of the ordinary to try. The owner was super nice, but unfortunately, we ordered sandwiches that were supposed to have German sausage in them and instead he put sliced cheap hot dog links in both of them. Armen at world cafe does it right: toasted sesame buns, peppered and spiced grilled meat, and delicious sauce. They make both a mushroom burger (my favorite) and a burger with chunky bacon bits( good too). The Price is also decent- same price as the chain restaurants except you get better tasting food in addition to supporting a local small business. There are other good items worth checking out on the menu for meat lovers as well. Service is quick and the flavor quality is excellent. It's a small shop with made to order food and an outdoor eating area with a fountain. I recommend world cafe for a filling bite to eat. read more

I came to do my laundry one afternoon and right next door is this small cafe I thought was just going to be some place you can grab a simple soda and a bag of chips. I didn't realize I was just about to eat the BEST burger I've tried in so long. The bread is unheard of. And everything about this burger came together so nicely like a bomb ass song.
