Both were very tasty and the textures were perfect. the chicharron was super crispy and was so good with the acidity from the lime and pickles. The sausage had a nice bite to it. The texture quality of sausages are underrated. I recently had another sausage from another barbecue place that was good, but the consistency was like meatloaf. It makes a huge difference. We still got our food to go because some people nearby were smoking. I ordered the lamb chops, which came on a bed of rice, sumac onions, lavash, and a chunky charred green pepper of some sort. The lamb chops were very tasty--crispy edges, meaty and juicy in the middle. They were thick, and all the fat was intact, which I loved. The lavash and rice were good, but I wasn't a fan of the onions, and the pepper was too spicy for me. Because of that, I kind of wished there was a different side, maybe something cooler, but that might just be me. Overall, the chops were great for the price. I'd go again and maybe try the pork chops next. My partner got the combo Lula, and it was decent, but to me it wasn't exceptional compared to other local kabob spots (cause there are a lot of good kabob places in Glendale). The lamb, though, gets my highest marks. I'm still thinking of them (we are there yesterday).

Be careful in the driving structure as there are blind spots of people rounding the Corners going from level to level and it's narrow. That was definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The rice was so undercooked and hard that it was almost impossible to chew. It honestly felt like you could break a tooth trying to eat it. I asked the staff to replace it, but the second serving was exactly the same--hard, dry, and completely unappetizing. The biggest issue, however, was the restroom. The smell of urine hits you the moment you walk in. It's so strong that it's difficult to breathe, let alone use the restroom comfortably. A restaurant serving such good meat should also maintain basic cleanliness and hygiene. I truly hope the management pays attention to these issues. Properly cooking the rice and finally giving the restrooms a deep cleaning are basic standards that make a huge difference to the overall dining experience. This place has potential, but these problems completely overshadow the good food.
