Since they only serve their sandwiches on weekdays, we opted for Fried Okra, "2 Meats 2 Sides"(chicken and brisket), two sandwich buns. At the suggestion of our server, Beto, we added an extra quarter pound of sliced brisket. Beto really knows what he's doing... and because of him it was a perfectly satisfying amount of food for the three of us. He definitely went above and beyond. We're looking forward to heading there on one of the next weekdays our teenager has off to try their sandwiches.

As expected, they were very friendly and they take their craft seriously. I usually get brisket when I get Texas style barbecue, but wanted to try some other other stuff this time. I got the Serrano jack sausage and a half pound of chicharron. Both were very tasty and the textures were perfect. the chicharron was super crispy and was so good with the acidity from the lime and pickles. The sausage had a nice bite to it. The texture quality of sausages are underrated. I recently had another sausage from another barbecue place that was good, but the consistency was like meatloaf. It makes a huge difference. Always a good time in your in for a treat if you could find their pop-ups. They usually pop up at breweries. More so in the South Bay. It seems now. Follow their Instagram to figure out when.

The lamb chops were very tasty--crispy edges, meaty and juicy in the middle. They were thick, and all the fat was intact, which I loved. The lavash and rice were good, but I wasn't a fan of the onions, and the pepper was too spicy for me. Because of that, I kind of wished there was a different side, maybe something cooler, but that might just be me. Overall, the chops were great for the price. I'd go again and maybe try the pork chops next. My partner got the combo Lula, and it was decent, but to me it wasn't exceptional compared to other local kabob spots (cause there are a lot of good kabob places in Glendale). The lamb, though, gets my highest marks. I'm still thinking of them (we are there yesterday).
