The location is clean and a large hall type place. It was around 2:30 pm and it was empty except for me. Not sure if it fills up during lunch hours but it felt too big of a space for only having me as a customer at that time. That being said everything is clean and new. Large TVs mounted on walls, music pumping etc. Service was good, friendly, welcoming. Asked if it was my first time and she took a moment to explain the menu and options which is not always the case at some places (where it might seem bothersome to the worker if a customer asks questions or dare say it's their first time there). This was not the case here, very friendly. I settled on their bahn mi take on their sandwich. It was large and delicious, but so was the price almost $20, not including fires or combo option. Perhaps a reason the location was on the emptier side? I did also ask for a side of fries which were very good, seemed fresh made and we done. I would come again and explore other options perhaps split the meal and $ with a colleague.

The store itself felt very open and airy. It felt much larger than the Sprint store that previously occupied the space (I dunno how they did that). We got our food to go but had we dined in, there was plenty of seating considering the size of the restaurant. The servers/cashiers were very friendly and the store felt very clean. After looking at the menu for what felt like a long time, I ended up getting the Philly fries while my partner got the pastrami western smash burger and a strawberry cheesecake shake. The fries were ok. There wasn't that much meat to make them really "Philly" in my mind and they were kinda dry. I was hoping for some cheese whizzy gooey goodness. Even though we ate the fries about 10 after getting them, the cheese had already cooled and hardened into a mass which is the worst for any sort of cheese fries (IMO). The burger was decent but smaller than I imagined. To me, I feel like Carl's Jr. has something similar from time to time (with their rotating menu of special burgers) and is usually cheaper. The best thing was really the shake but it was also super heavy. Will we be back? Maybe.

We've tried so many meal prep companies over the years, from Northern California to Southern California. We were on Z.E.N. I'm so happy my wife's cousin introduced us to Bee Anka--it has honestly been such a blessing. The food is incredibly fresh, tastes amazing, and the quality is noticeable. I'm lactose intolerant, and they've been great about accommodating my dietary restrictions. I also really appreciate that every meal clearly lists the macros, regardless of which plan you're on. One of my favorite things is that they take the guesswork out of everything--they select the meals and simply provide them. It makes eating healthy so much easier when you don't have to constantly plan, shop, prep, or figure out what to eat next. Your health is your true wealth, and this is absolutely worth the investment. After just one week, both my wife and I can already feel the difference. I've been using Z.E.N. Foods off and on for several years now. I just resumed their service after a…read morebreak and, reminded of what great food and service they provide, decided to finally write a long overdue review. I had tried 3 or 4 other food services several years ago and each had their issues/drawbacks (one in particular was very problematic). Once I tried Z.E.N., I've never looked back. The food is fresh, healthy, and for the most part truly delicious! (which was not the case with some of the other services I used). The other great thing is that the menu is entirely customizable: they have their specials of the day for each meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner -- plus snacks and dessert if you go with that particular plan). But if a daily special doesn't appeal to you when you check the weekly menu in your online portal, there is an array of other choices you can make to substitute -- usually several to a dozen or so. I'm kind of a picky eater so I typically wind up substituting 1/3rd to half of the selections, depending. You are also allowed 3 "dislikes" that they will automatically substitute if in their daily specials. Anyway, the customer service is great and the drivers discreet. It may depend on location, but I typically receive my daily delivery between 5pm-7pm every day (meals for the next day). The food is in a zip-tie sealed container for safety, and on several ice packs to stay fresh if you aren't home or otherwise unable to retrieve it immediately; they leave it in the safe spot on my porch where I've indicated. The other thing that's customizable is the delivery schedule: I'm in and out of town a bit, so I month's worth of food deliveries might last 2 or 3 months depending on how I need to space it out (e.g., I typically don't have food delivered on weekends, or if I'm away for a week or two I just put the service on pause for those days -- again, all super easy to adjust in the online portal). And yes, every time I use the service I do lose a few pounds. Highest marks from me, I can't recommend it more highly for anyone who either wants to lose weight, take a break from cooking, or simply want to reset and eat more healthy. The pricing seems fair to me, especially since I'm not spending nearly as much at the grocery store while I'm on the plan.
