Excellent Food tasty ,clean, delicious This restaurant is a really good one, with excellent food quality, very clean, and a place where you can get dishes that would cost a lot more elsewhere, at the same quality, but for a more reasonable price. The staff are very kind, the ambience is absolutely great, and honestly, it's a place I'd say you must try. From the stews, especially if you love chicken stew, to the chicken kebabs, which are amazing, you will really enjoy it. I hope they keep doing more and more of this, and we can all enjoy more of it!

It's alright..a one n done for me. 3% service fee...didn't like owner's attitude. Food tasted alright. Salad had brown leafs. The meat skewer was kind of small IMO for a $18 lunch "special" the meat should've been longer!

Located inside the Glendale Crossing Plaza, at the V split of Verdugo and Glendale Blvds. We wanted to try a bit of everything so we were guided to the Duke's platter that has 4 skewers, rice, salad and a side order. We did that with the yougurt dip. The bread and dip were tasty. The skewers we selected were the Chicken Shish kabob, the Chicken Koobedeh, and two beef koobedeh (as they were out of Beef Shish Kabob). We also opted to upgrade to the cherry rice. That was a good choice as the rice was delicious but the cherry added another dimension to the flavor. As to the kabab, I enjoyed the Chicken Shish the most. I also added a touch of lemon juice and green pepper (served alongside). The chicken breast was moist and flavorful. The beef koobedeh was also very good. It was tender and spiced really well. The salad was good, but the lettuce was a bit drowned in the dressing, making it a little limp. The staff were helpful and guided us well in our selections. All in all, I really enjoyed this meal. I have definitely makes it in my favorite list.

I wanted to like this place, but it's just not a repeat for me. First time i visited, i arrived at 8pm. Their hours on the website, yelp, and their door day they are open until 9pm. I walked in, and the guy walked out from the back and just looked at me. He said they are closed. I asked why if they are open till 9, and he just stared at me. I then walked out. Since it is part of the AA dining program, i wanted to give it a try. I went back the next day at 6pm. There was a man working there, but he was just outside the door smoking. He finished his cig, and came in to take my order. I had the overpriced Beef Koobidah. It was one Koobidah and some rice. Flavors were fine, but the portion was not very big for the price. Further, after getting home and looking at my receipt, they tack on a 3.5% service charge. That is in addition to the tip that is asked for at the register. I don't get why do such a sneaky surcharge. Tried it once, but won't be returning....

Is this an actual establishment or a food truck like on this post?

Dear Lady, this is an actual walk-in, order at the counter, sit down at one of the formica topped tables to enjoy your lunch/dinner. I have a bad back, don't like sitting in most restaurant chairs, but, if I remember correctly, their chairs were…

Amazing!! My 2nd time here, with a chill authentic vibe, right off sunset…read more You order from counter then self seat or they'll seat you and bring you your food. We ordered the sour cherry limeade, sooo refreshing! Barbari flatbread fresh and warm Eggplant gheimeh , the eggplant was roasted to perfection served with rice soo incredibly flavorful. Manama fried potatoes service with lemon wedge and a dip - you have to eat it all together well paired, potatoes had the perfect softness and crisp. Mirsa ghasemi - roasted eggplant Mix this with the smashed green olives on your babari flat and yes! The tomato Persian cucumber salad was also refreshing, wth great flavors and crunch. This place has been pretty constant of patrons dining. Seems like a real popular place. The employees are friendly The place is clean which makes it easier to dine in.

I came by with a couple of friends because we wanted to see what the hype was all about. We got the…read moreMirza Ghasemi w/ Barbari bread, Kotlet Plate, Turmeric Braised Chicken, Lamb Gheimeh, Kofteh Tabrizi, and the Sholezard for dessert. Turmeric Braised Chicken - The dish was a bit on the basic end, not a lot of seasoning but you could taste the tumeric. Chicken was tender but slightly on the drier side which was a bit surprising considering it was dark meat (6.5/10) Kofteh Tabrizi - The tomato taste was prominent in the broth but the meatball itself was overly salty. The flavor was one note, I can't see myself ordering this again as I've heard this dish should have more complex flavors so I was disappointed (5.5/10) Kotlet Plate - As you can see from my picture, the kotlet was burnt beyond repair and I could taste the bitterness from the overused oil they used to fry it. I did like the yogurt spread and the pickles that came with it but I did not like the kotlet at all. We didn't bother asking them to replace it (4/10) Mirza Ghasemi w/ Barbari bread - The star of this whole experience was the Mirza Ghasemi, the roasted eggplant and tomato spread came cold and it was the most delicious thing we had. One of my friends vacuumed it right up before the rest of us could have seconds. Bread was a bit dry but it was a great vehicle for the Mirza (8.5/10) Lamb Gheimeh - Lamb was tender and it had some nice spices infused in there but it didn't wow me in any way (7/10) Sholezard - Our waitress brought over some complimentary Ceylon tea with the Sholezard which was kind. This rice dessert was not too sweet. The warmth and saffron ended our meal in a comforting way. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again (7/10) +1 star for the service
