They bear the same name, menu, shirts, decor, etc. This gives the consumer the impression that these are absolutely related businesses that share ownership/management. A family member knew I loved the Morrison, and bought a $100 gift certificate from the Los Feliz location and gave it to me as a birthday gift. That location shut down a few weeks later, so I took it the gift certificate to the Burbank location. After attempting to use it after ordering a ton of food and drink, they straight up told me they are not associated with the other location whatsoever and they would not honor the gift certificate. Whether that's the truth or not (I don't believe them) you have a BRAND TO PROTECT. This is what sharing a brand is! To make the cognizant decision not to honor this gift certificate is theft! I will NEVER return to a business that bears the Morrison name ever again. You have lost a customer for life. I now implore all Yelpers to boycott this business for shady business practices. They literally took the $100 and disappeared! Where's my $100 Morrison?

Wish I had thought to take more pictures starting from the start. The Started with a cocktail hour outside the bar area, including excellent plates of gourmet crudités with an especially delicious hummus (we wondered about the mystery flavor!) and ranch dressing, and separate plates of spicy salami, meltingly ripe brillat savarin cheese with grilled country bread amongst other delights such as marcona almonds, raisins, and dried apricot. Following the cocktail hour, we went in to a different outside area, which had been set up with a large U-shaped table of wood. It was rustic, but lovely.. I have taken a picture of the menu so you can see what we had. Every single item served was made with such care and intention to bring out the very best in the vegetables as well as the proteins. How could a simple green salad be so delicious? Every little tiny tomato screamed sweetness, and the dressing was sublime. Individual egetables were served with accompanying side sauces, and everybody was raving about how great they tasted. Who would've thought a simple carrot could be so great? Or a simple wedge of sweet potato with a papaya mustard sauce? Salmon cooked to perfection served on little French lentils with a dollop of butter sauce.. The best of all to me was the steak with mushrooms and a Demi- glacé sauce on the side. Wow, was that delicious! The presentation of the desserts was another high point! I was so full by that point, but of course we ate them anyway. See pictures. Whoever the chef is here, they are a person of meticulous artistry offering down-to-earth deliciousness. Free parking is always appreciated, too. I recommend this location highly for wedding receptions. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly, too.

We also love their steaks, burgers and all of their sandwiches. You really just can't go wrong here. After the appointment we were starving and decided to go to Foxy's. It was not our first time there. Well, during lunch it felt like something crawled on my foot. I looked down at my sandal, but didn't see anything. Honestly, our food arrived and I didn't think anything more of it. Then, here comes the gross part, In the middle of lunch my mother picked up her glass of orange juice to take a sip, and a cockroach was making it's way up the glass. My father quickly got a napkin to try to get it and kill it, but it got away. I quickly got up because I was not going to sit back down and have it crawl on me or get in my purse. I asked our server to get the manager. I explained what happened and the manager offered to move us to another booth. Um, no! We weren't going to sit down anywhere else or eat anymore of our food. We were all very grossed out! The cockroach was one of those small German roaches, and I know where there's one, there's definitely more hiding...or crawling around. We just wanted to leave! I was even more grossed out thinking that maybe that's what I felt crawl on my foot. The manager was very kind and obviously embarrassed about what had happened, and said we didn't have to pay for our lunch. He also stated he had never seen a roach in the restaurant and that something like this had never happened before. Do I believe that? No, not really. If you've been inside Foxy's you know it's in serious need of some TLC...and fumigation. One was 2 double cheeseburgers for $14. Another was 2 specialty create-your-own fries (you can add up to three toppings on each order of fries) for like $14. Both are great deals. I got my stuff to go since it's literally a small shack with maybe four stools on one side where you pick up the food. Most people got their stuff to go from what I saw. I don't think anyone stayed to eat there. I added bacon and grilled onions to my burger, and split a fries with the missus, who had the other cheeseburger with grilled onions added. They do charge you for these additions, but it's reasonable. Food comes out very quickly. Despite being busy with the lunch crowd on a weekday, my order got made in under 10 minutes after I placed it on their website. The burger I thought was very good quality, as far as the meat goes. The bun was serviceable, but they could jazz it up with a sesame seed bun. The fries were also very good. The only problem I will say is that they fall victim nowadays to a glut of great burger joints, at least for me. Amboy in Chinatown and Covina, along with Burger District LA in DTLA are exceptional and have set a very high bar. Great White Hut's product is great, but it's not exceptional. Would I order it again? Maybe. I wouldn't be disappointed to order it or eat it again. I enjoyed my meal. But, I don't live in Glendale, so the drive is about the same to any of these three places, and with that being the case, chances are I would just go to Amboy or Burger District.
