Sherbir and Justin did a great job unloading our truck. We had several very heavy items, and they handled and maneuvered them with great care. Throughout the unloading process, they frequently checked with us about where items should be placed, which was incredibly helpful and made unpacking much easier. They completed the job efficiently, worked in a timely manner, and were respectful and professional throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers. read more

Just finished a big move late last week and was not impressed. The reason we went with working men was the communication prior to the job - they seemed to ask the right questions and had good follow up prior. The day of the move however was very disorganized. The crew was a mix of their employees and contractors and I couldn't tell who was in charge. The movers didn't know any of the details we had discussed previously. Also the owner changed the plan last minute for us to do the move in one day instead of two which we had not planned for but tried to accommodate (had to get childcare, change work plans, empty the fridge etc) and then they did not end up finishing the job on day 1 anyway! We had to pay the hauling and transportation fees twice (an extra $400). The worst part was the owner told me I never mentioned moving the fridge (I did and I would think this would have been something worth confirming with me!) and told me they would have declined to move it. This was definitely not told to me prior or I would not have gone with this company. This also came with a surprise $200 appliance fee and several dents on our fridge door, scratches on the hardwood and a chipped banister. When I brought up these damages plus a damaged mirror and dresser, they sent me their insurance certificate but no clear instructions on how to file a claim. The movers were nice guys but the whole process was inefficient. I would have appreciated a clearer plan from the beginning and better communication on the day of the move. Also a crew of 4 took 13 hours over 2 days to move our 4 bedroom home after we did all our own packing and hauled our own clothing and fragile items (wine, art, etc). This included putting big furniture in the correct rooms but leaving all boxes in common spaces. For over $4000 (not including tips and food for the crew), I thought this process would have gone much more smoothly. I've already shared my feedback with Justin and Sherbir and for what it's worth, they seemed receptive. I don't like to leave negative reviews but moving is so stressful and exhausting and I think it's worth having a range of honest feedback to make the best decision. read more

Super professional. Great communication from estimators to finish. Really good service.

GREAT last-minute service, all thanks to Kyle, the Yelp Project Manager, for the hookup. I spoke with Justin directly when I called. He made it happen on the same day. His three-man team was punctual, friendly, professional, and hardworking. Justin was very communicative during our moving process; he explained how it was going and how much longer it would take to complete the work. Overall I was very satisfied and happy with the experience working with Justin and his team. Will definitely refer them to family and friends should they need movers. read more

The team was also very friendly, making the entire moving process smooth and stress-free. We had a complicated moving job that needed to be done ASAP. We called Working Men Moving and they next day they were able to take care of our moving challenge in a professional and timely fashion. They couldn't have nicer or more accommodating. We would definitely higher them again. read more

Thank you to Working Men Moving for helping us with our move! Great experience, very professional, highly recommend. Will use again.

We are extremely pleased and highly recommend their moving services. Our job was close to impossible. With confidence, they managed to bring a 400 pound boxed treadmill down a tight stairwell of a basement gym. We were extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and communication within their small team. We cannot thank them enough for getting the job done in a quick and painless matter. They also have the BEST pricing around! read more

Beware!!!! I hired Justin from Working Men Moving to pick up 4 new counter stools that I had purchased. These were supposed to be picked up from the manufacture warehouse. The 4 counter stools cost $2000. The way the items were dumped into a pick up truck, one apparently flew out & was severely damaged. It doesn't appear they took the time to carefully tie the pieces down. When the stools were delivered, Justin lied that the item was received broken. I asked what happened to the carton & he had no answer. Later in our texts he admitted that one stool fell from his truck & broke, and that they had tossed the carton. I asked to be refunded the cost of the stool or at a minimum, the shipping fees I had paid him. However, I have not received a refund or any compensation for the broken stool or the shipping fees. Do not recommend this company at all! Seeing Justin's reply.....I'm afraid your lies haven't stopped. A discount doesn't mean you damage a $500 counter stool and I'm still waiting for any sort of refund. Shame on you! read more

Sherbir and his team truly did a great job on my move today. They were professional and even offered to wear shoe covers to appease my OCD! When I was scheduling the appointment for the move, Justin was prompt and reassuring. Everything about this company was great beginning to end, and I will recommend them every time! Thank you! read more

From day one, owner was professional, communicated well, and was on time for our initial appointment. On moving day, we had three workers on time who took extra special care of my belongings, and got everything loaded and unloaded very quickly. I have a lot of antiques, and they made extra special effort to make sure none of them were damaged during the move. Owners and workers were kind, professional and did not break the bank. I would highly recommend and if needed, I will be using them again. read more

Actual moving services were fine but very deceitful advertising and billing. They have different advertised pricing on different platforms and don't make it clear that the pricing is per mover. They also don't tell you how many movers are coming out so prepare to be surprised. In addition, they charged an hour for traveling which was never disclosed. They actually 'offered' to charge me the higher price if I preferred. Wound up costing over 50 percent more than what I was expecting. Buyer beware. read more

Justin was very responsive on my initial contact, he was able to provide me an estimate within minutes and his pricing was better than other movers on Yelp. He showed up on time and was very professional, clean and efficient. He was careful with all my belongs and I was impressed by how organized he was loading the truck and he finished moving everything within the agreed time. Justin knows what he's doing and works quickly. Thank you for making my move easier and saving me time. I would definitely use Working Men again and recommend their services. We hired Justin and his team to help us to assemble a custom bed frame - something which he said they were capable of doing. To give some context, this was a $1400 custom bunk bed frame. They spent 4 hours on the build, during which they assembled the bed incorrectly such that the entire top bunk, which was supposed to be capable of supporting 1000 lbs, shook heavily when any pressure was applied. Instead of using the correct supporting pieces, they used bed slats to hold the frame together. The entire frame was tilted and extremely unsafe to use by the time they finished. In order to compensate for this, they used cheap brackets to hold the ladder to the frame. There were 8 pieces they claimed were "extra" at the end of the build - this included 4 pieces that were critical to the structural integrity and part of the overall frame of the bed (the ones that they replaced with bed slats), and four that were safety rails that wouldn't fit because they'd aligned things so poorly. We paid $1044 for the four hours of labor before we realized the extent to which they had botched the job. We did this because we had a great experience with one of the team, Sherbir, in the past and believed the whole team cared about the quality of work they did. (Sherbir was not present for this build, but it was lead by the owner, Justin). Not only did Justin refuse to give us even a partial refund, but they insisted that while they were happy to come back and reinforce the bed (not rebuild it properly, just reinforce their terrible work), that we would have to pay them at their hourly rate for them to correct their mistakes. We were lucky the bed wasn't completely damaged, based on their other responses we wouldn't have had any attempts at compensation there either. We ended up having to spend five hours taking it almost entirely apart and rebuilding it correctly. There are no "extra" pieces and the bed is stable and strong. It was clear that they started to make mistakes during the build, and when they realized things were wrong (such as using a piece needed in the top bunk on the bottom) they didn't undo and correct the issue, but continued on, just trying to get it to "look like the picture" so they could say they'd succeeded and charge us. There were instructions that were clear enough that we could follow them included with the bed. You can see for yourself in the pictures, showing details of the "extra" pieces and parts of their botched build, as well as what the structure looked like after we rebuilt it correctly. Justin was so determined to convince us he'd done it right and get paid that he left us with a bed that was stunningly unsafe. What if we hadn't been able to rebuild it? What if it had been damaged (more than the numerous extra screw holes it now has) to the extent that we couldn't fix it without hiring someone else? What if someone had been hurt? Justin's lack of concern for safety is even more unacceptable than the fact that they've screwed us out of so much money... We've had good experiences with this company in the past, so when they said they could do the job, we trusted them, and it cost us. Honestly, if they had come, seen the pieces, and said, sorry, we don't know how to do this, that would have been completely fine. And if they'd gotten part way through and said, we can't figure this out and it all seems wrong, that would have been ok too! We'd have come and helped them figure it out, or finished it ourselves and paid for the progress they made. And even after they were done, if they had been willing to admit they didn't do it right, and offer even a partial refund, we'd have thanked them for trying and moved on, and probably hired them again in the future. Like I said, we had a great experience with the owner and really enjoy supporting small businesses. But instead this time they tried to convince us that they'd done it right, it "matches the picture" and the extra pieces are extra! They've thus far completely refused to make this right in any way other than charging us even more. Even now, Working Men Movers, if you're reading this and want to make it right, we are open to some compromise. What you did and your efforts to cover it up and convince us you hadn't completely botched the job was not ok, at all. Either way, if you reach out to me I will edit this review to reflect your efforts, and if not I will also be making sure to have this review reflect that. Sherbir, if you're seeing this, we appreciate working with you in the past, can we make this right so we can do so again in the future? read more

I needed a few extra hands to help carry a 400lb glass aquarium from the garage to the living room. Out of 10+ yelp inquiries, Justin was the only one who personally responded. Almost every other company had a 3hr minimum and was not willing to adjust for a quick 30 min job. Justin was very accommodating. He responded to my messages promptly, was very professional, and even worked around my schedule. His price was more than fair, but despite this he was very careful and used the appropriate equipment to protect my stuff. Not to mention he was very kind and respectful to his co-workers which says a lot. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. read more

These guys are now my go-to movers. They know how to properly assess a job and will be up front with you regarding what's going to be needed to get you moved safely at a good price and worry free! These guys were good. They were responsive and on time. I had a 2 bedroom apartment to move, not a ton of furniture. They did a good job but they were much slower then I'd anticipated. Give these guys a shot, you won't be disappointed! New company but they are doing great work! My friend was in a bind and needed to move his stuff from one state to another in less than 2 days. On a whim, I jumped on Yelp and started searching for moving companies. In less than 5 min, Justin had reached out to me to get more details about the move. I was impressed with the 5 star ratings across the board but noticed that this was a new company. So I reached out to the folks (through yelp) that had previously left a review and again, they had nothing but positive things to say. Not only were they responsive, but they have competitive rates and we were lucky that they were able to do this move same day! They made it so simple to get us pricing and work out logistics. My friend is so happy with the service and now has all his stuff at his new place, in a different state! read more
