Actual moving services were fine but very deceitful advertising and billing. They have different advertised pricing on different platforms and don't make it clear that the pricing is per mover. They also don't tell you how many movers are coming out so prepare to be surprised. In addition, they charged an hour for traveling which was never disclosed. They actually 'offered' to charge me the higher price if I preferred. Wound up costing over 50 percent more than what I was expecting. Buyer beware. read more

Beware!!!! I hired Justin from Working Men Moving to pick up 4 new counter stools that I had purchased. These were supposed to be picked up from the manufacture warehouse. The 4 counter stools cost $2000. The way the items were dumped into a pick up truck, one apparently flew out & was severely damaged. It doesn't appear they took the time to carefully tie the pieces down. When the stools were delivered, Justin lied that the item was received broken. I asked what happened to the carton & he had no answer. Later in our texts he admitted that one stool fell from his truck & broke, and that they had tossed the carton. I asked to be refunded the cost of the stool or at a minimum, the shipping fees I had paid him. However, I have not received a refund or any compensation for the broken stool or the shipping fees. Do not recommend this company at all! Seeing Justin's reply.....I'm afraid your lies haven't stopped. A discount doesn't mean you damage a $500 counter stool and I'm still waiting for any sort of refund. Shame on you! read more

We hired Justin and his team to help us to assemble a custom bed frame - something which he said they were capable of doing. To give some context, this was a $1400 custom bunk bed frame. They spent 4 hours on the build, during which they assembled the bed incorrectly such that the entire top bunk, which was supposed to be capable of supporting 1000 lbs, shook heavily when any pressure was applied. Instead of using the correct supporting pieces, they used bed slats to hold the frame together. The entire frame was tilted and extremely unsafe to use by the time they finished. In order to compensate for this, they used cheap brackets to hold the ladder to the frame. There were 8 pieces they claimed were "extra" at the end of the build - this included 4 pieces that were critical to the structural integrity and part of the overall frame of the bed (the ones that they replaced with bed slats), and four that were safety rails that wouldn't fit because they'd aligned things so poorly. We paid $1044 for the four hours of labor before we realized the extent to which they had botched the job. We did this because we had a great experience with one of the team, Sherbir, in the past and believed the whole team cared about the quality of work they did. (Sherbir was not present for this build, but it was lead by the owner, Justin). Not only did Justin refuse to give us even a partial refund, but they insisted that while they were happy to come back and reinforce the bed (not rebuild it properly, just reinforce their terrible work), that we would have to pay them at their hourly rate for them to correct their mistakes. We were lucky the bed wasn't completely damaged, based on their other responses we wouldn't have had any attempts at compensation there either. We ended up having to spend five hours taking it almost entirely apart and rebuilding it correctly. There are no "extra" pieces and the bed is stable and strong. It was clear that they started to make mistakes during the build, and when they realized things were wrong (such as using a piece needed in the top bunk on the bottom) they didn't undo and correct the issue, but continued on, just trying to get it to "look like the picture" so they could say they'd succeeded and charge us. There were instructions that were clear enough that we could follow them included with the bed. You can see for yourself in the pictures, showing details of the "extra" pieces and parts of their botched build, as well as what the structure looked like after we rebuilt it correctly. Justin was so determined to convince us he'd done it right and get paid that he left us with a bed that was stunningly unsafe. What if we hadn't been able to rebuild it? What if it had been damaged (more than the numerous extra screw holes it now has) to the extent that we couldn't fix it without hiring someone else? What if someone had been hurt? Justin's lack of concern for safety is even more unacceptable than the fact that they've screwed us out of so much money... We've had good experiences with this company in the past, so when they said they could do the job, we trusted them, and it cost us. Honestly, if they had come, seen the pieces, and said, sorry, we don't know how to do this, that would have been completely fine. And if they'd gotten part way through and said, we can't figure this out and it all seems wrong, that would have been ok too! We'd have come and helped them figure it out, or finished it ourselves and paid for the progress they made. And even after they were done, if they had been willing to admit they didn't do it right, and offer even a partial refund, we'd have thanked them for trying and moved on, and probably hired them again in the future. Like I said, we had a great experience with the owner and really enjoy supporting small businesses. But instead this time they tried to convince us that they'd done it right, it "matches the picture" and the extra pieces are extra! They've thus far completely refused to make this right in any way other than charging us even more. Even now, Working Men Movers, if you're reading this and want to make it right, we are open to some compromise. What you did and your efforts to cover it up and convince us you hadn't completely botched the job was not ok, at all. Either way, if you reach out to me I will edit this review to reflect your efforts, and if not I will also be making sure to have this review reflect that.
