Overall our experience was good, but I don't think I would use them again. A little background: It was a super hot day, and I felt bad for the movers. They didn't seem to have water or proper PPE for the weather. The positive: Movers were on time and ready to work! Items were moved carefully, but they probably could have used a third worker based on the items we had. I feel I was transparent with how much items we had including heavy items. The negative: Two movers were not enough based on the items we had including heavy items. The move took much longer than expected. Movers seemed really irritated the whole time, which I can't tell if it was from the heat or we did something wrong. Movers also left garbage behind and we had to clean up after. Usually the moving company will follow up after to see how things went, but we never heard from Nancy. Nancy also said she would come to check in during the move, but never did. We paid, and it was done. I think overall, it was a fine experience, but not to the level of other moving companies I've worked with before. Based on the more recent reviews, it looks like some improvements have been made which is great!

Moving: the two movers, Herman and Aleksei, were incredibly efficient and very sweet/patient throughout the move. I appreciate that they handled both my expensive & economical items delicately. Also, I wasn't completely prepared on my end with the move such as knowing details like where to park for loading/unloading or even which items to move vs discard, which I had been dreading for weeks. However, thanks to their expertise and versatility, the move was stress-free. And a huge shoutout to Herman for his guidance and coordination that really ensured a seamless experience. We had a challenging move from downtown S.F. to Berkeley, to a house that is in the middle of multiple construction projects. Yet they made everything feel easy. I had gotten food poisoning the day before and we were stressing because we hadn't yet finished packing. But it was no problem--they loaded the truck with the items that were ready to go while we packed the rest. Make sure to ask for Joseph and his team (Fernando and Victor). They arrived a little early so they'd be ready and were the utmost professional while also being a warm and friendly team of guys. We would have them over dinner any time. Because of Joseph I'm now convinced that moving is both an art and an athletic feat. We had a recliner (100lbs) and a treadmill (200lbs) that were too wide to go through a doorway--and yet he maneuvered them effortlessly through without a scratch on either.

I had Carlos and his team assemble our European style kitchen cabinets. They were made of finished…read morewood and lacquer cabinets. We sent our kitchen assembly instructions ahead of time to make sure they were aware. My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

Over the past 25 years, I have lived in New York City, Hoboken, Boston, London and San Francisco. In other words, I've moved more than a few times, and have worked with many moving companies; good and not so good. When I met Leo, I was faced with the most unwanted and emotionally difficult move of all. A judge had granted an order two days beforehand, despite my appeals, that my home of fifteen years (the only home my daughters had ever known) was to be sold as terms of my divorce. The girls and I were to vacate the premises without delay. Leo appeared at my doorstep the morning of a day I wish to forget. Aware of my circumstances, I greeted him at my front door with despair; and certainly unprepared. I hadn't packed even a single box. Leo was the grim reaper to me at that fateful moment. I told him we were not ready and there was no way we could ever complete the move in one day. There was absolutely no way. Not knowing me beyond a few short telephone conversations, Leo told me that he would "get it done". At that moment, I believed in him. He relieved me of the burden of responsibility on such a terrible day. He took charge. Leo didn't need to help me. Were I him, I would have turned around and left. Why involve yourself in such a terrible situation? He was entering into a seemingly "no win" situation. Leo and his crew worked for 16 hours that day and moved me from my 2,600 square foot home. We actually had fun if that is at all believable. Leo and I remain the best of friends to this day. He's a man of integrity, trust and accountability. You shouldn't look any further for a mover. This was my first time hiring professional movers and I am SO happy with MoveMe24! I had been in my old place for 7 years, and had accumulated a lot of stuff. We packed ourselves, but we knew we'd need to call in the pros to move us into our new place. We did a lot of research and got a lot of quotes and MoveMe24 was by far the most affordable. They got us on the schedule on relatively short notice (~3 weeks before our move date) and were extremely professional while we got things set up. On our move date, Dylan and Andrew arrived on time and ready to go. We were kind of in disarray--most of our things were packed but we had hit the "throwing random things into bags" stage. Both the movers were efficient and helped us organize everything so that it could all be moved safely. They were both masked and stayed as COVID-safe as possible, and were also both really kind and friendly. Our new place has two flights of stairs to get up, and they handled them really well. They even moved our California king mattress up those narrow stairs. Seriously--they're moving wizards, and we are extremely grateful. I purchased a set of mahogany french doors with two side lights; very heavy doors. The doors were to be delivered to the SF location and I had arranged for them to be picked up the next day on Saturday. The doors never arrived on Friday so my pick-up had to be re-arranged for the following Thursday. I had called three local movers but I never received a call back. Being busy coordinating a renovation and working full time I didn't start looking for a mover until the day before the doors had to be picked up. I left a message for Diego and he called me back within 5 minutes. We arranged the pick up of the doors and their delivery to my home in Montara, on the coast. They were delivered without a scratch and my contractor, who was at my home to accept he delivery, asked Diego if he and his guys could remove a cast iron wood stove from one of the rooms that was being renovated. The stove was moved to my garage and all in all, they were professional, efficient, and I will not hesitate to recommend Diego to friends and to use him in the future if I need something moved or delivered. read more

First things first - these guys are professional. Let me explain. I scheduled my move for today. The foreman made me call and informed in advance about the arrival window. You know how bad the staircase could be. And my stairs were about the worst ones. But my movers seem, there is no staircase at all, that how fast they do their job. All my stuff was managed inside the truck super safely using the straps. I heard from my friends some other guys are cheating a little bit, for example, they drive not so fast and increase their business time. But the driver of my movers today was a real professional. He was on the spot at the exact time the google maps showed me. The unloading the truck was fast as well. These guys even help me to place my stuff at the exact place I want. They did not damage or even scratches. I recommend this company for every move in the bay area. read more

We just moved on February 3rd, this was the first time with MoveMe24. They were awesome communicators from start to finish. I submitted my request for a quote online, and no joke, I had a phone immediately. Setting all up was super easy. They reminded me about the move, one day in advance which put my mind at rest. The two guys showed up at the agreed time, extremely professional, introduced themselves and misused no time in emptying my unit. None of my items were damaged or scratched. I can't say that the previous companies were ideal as MoveMe24. They treated with caution every part of my apartment. They also had extra packing supplies available for the last moment purchase, which was wonderful. These guys are very pedantic. I had a team of two movers - Sergey and Valentin, and these guys made a really great job helping me pack my belongings and making sure everything is safely transported, including providing the padding and shrink wrap. Everything was done really professionally and fast - they estimated 3 hours of work, but we're done in less than 2.5. They also disassembled and then put together my bed, so I am overall very satisfied with the service, and would definitely highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move. These guys are flat out awesome. We moved from Oakland to SF and the entire move was incredibly seamless and quick. Not only did they show up early to our apartment to start the process but they took excellent care with our boxes and furniture. We ran into troubles trying to fit our couch into the apartment but Diego was able to find a way to dissemble the couch and fit it into the apartment so that we wouldn't have to get rid of it. I hired MoveMe24 to move a three bedroom house to another three bedroom house in Mill Valley. Yury, Semen, Rustam and Aztom did an amazing job. They took the time to wrap and protect all of our furniture before it went into the truck. They were fast, efficient and focused. The roads were narrow and challenging in the moving truck but not a problem for these guys. Valentin and Sergey helped me move last weekend. I highly recommend! They were on time, and took excellent care of my belongings. They wrapped all of my furniture and still got finished in good time. I was moving out of a 4th floor apartment with stairs going into the building and a very small elevator going to the 4th floor. So, not an easy task. And the place I moved into was up 3 flights of stairs (no elevator)! They worked very hard and I appreciate the care they placed into their job with me on what can sometimes be a very stressful day. Initially I was worried if I should rely on a guy from craigslist whom I had never met, but when I arrived they were already waiting for me, with all the necessary equipment. Although they charged per hour, they tried to finish the job as fast as possible (while being careful not to damage anything). Their rate was very reasonable, and they saved me both time and money. From Cupertino CA moving to Treasure Coast Florida our amazing 2-Guyz Team (Spanish 'Jose', ROMA, SLAVA) and our 2-Guyz Organizers 'Alex' and 'Timur' (pardon spelling of names) WERE SUPERB, and the People at Delivery End WERE EXACTLY THE SAME LEVEL OF EXCELLENCE - extremely organized, extremely skilled in planning, giving excellent advice on 'boxes to buy/use' and about how to determine what 'We' would do and what & how 2GM would take care to move all the remaining furniture etc. We FOLLOWED THEIR DIRECTIONs EXACTLY - packing & labeling boxes, carefully packing glasswares, china cabinet items, and using labels sourced from Amazon on 2-sides of boxes. We used a Notepad: top-flip-wire 8" note pad, and we sequentially NUMBERED EACH BOX with a brief notation of each boxes contents. My wife was worried about the extensive glass in the Scandinavian non-replaceable furniture shelving, china cabinet, Italian bedroom furniture, and for multiple original paintings. My Wife and started packing work 3-weeks ahead, following directions to pack 3 or more boxes each day (usually 5+) using Home Depot Heavy Duty Small and Medium boxes. The foreman was uncooperative and did not respond well to my feedback. The crew requested to use my bathroom and subsequently clogged the toilet by disposing of paper towels, requiring assistance from my building engineer. Although I was charged for three movers, only two arrived to unload. The delivery was scheduled for 9:00 am, but I was informed at the end of my pickup day that the foreman would not arrive until 12:30 pm. When I called at 12:30 pm the next day, I was told delivery would be delayed until 2:30 pm. Communication was poor throughout. When I pointed out that my lamps were damaged and other items had dings and scratches due to improper wrapping, the foreman responded, "What do you expect? Things would get damaged in a move." Additionally, I was not asked to sign off upon completion, and payment was requested insistently at the start of the move and before unloading. Overall, the service did not meet my expectations. I understand that accidental damage can occur during a move, but in this case, I believe it resulted from a lack of professionalism and care.

He answered emails within the hour and stayed committed to getting things right. His crew worked hard and fast, safely maneuvering heavy appliances in and out while protecting our home from any damage. When connecting the new machines called for extra parts, Felix went to the appliance store twice to get exactly what was needed. This is a team that genuinely cares about doing the job well. They protect your belongings and get them safely from point A to point B. These guys failed across the board. They didn't wrap up any of our things, including our art. Paintings arrived scratched and damaged. They didn't wrap fragile objects, like ceramic vases (?!!) instead the movers shoved them into boxes along with other items. Various items had multiple parts, but since these weren't packaged together, parts were lost. The goal of this moving company seemed to be to get the move over with as quickly as possible without a single concern about our belongings. I wish I'd looked more closely at these reviews before booking this moving company. I would've noticed (as you should) that most of the reviews are written by people who seem to have joined Yelp just to write a positive review of this company. Major red flag. Don't make the same mistake we did. If you value your valuables, find another moving company.

Last year, we hired them to move furniture and items very locally, no truck required. We had 2 movers for 2 hours and took advantage of the lower rates Mondays-Thursdays. Julio and his helper were fast but careful with our items. This time around, Chalo and his helper were efficient. There was a point that we thought it was taking them a bit long to make trips back and forth to the truck but at the end, we understood why when we saw how well the truck load was organized. Both moves involved stairs within our apartment and they tackled it quickly and without complaints. I didn't like that they charge for move supplies but luckily we had enough of our own moving blankets, tape, and shrink wrap. They don't charge double drive time like their competitors and only a 2-hour minimum. While Chalo was the lead, both of them split the work evenly and we never worried if we were getting our money's worth. Thank you Jubel Movers!
