I'm not one to leave a review but I ordered a burger and it came with a dead fly melted into the cheese. I luckily got a refund through DoorDash but when I called to inform Woody's they didn't even offer to give me a free burger, just an apology. Update: It took me sending a picture of the fly in my burger and my grandma messaging them, and me posting a yelp review for them to tell my grandma that I could get a free burger. An absolutely cool and funky joint! We dropped by on Saturday, a bit cold and rainy, but still worth the weather hassles. We enjoyed a Moondoggie - amazingly large hot dog and killer fries. I ordered online through Doordash for pickup. Ordered 2 moondoggies with chili cheese fries, side of onion rings and jalapeño poppers with a soda. The hotdogs and fries were horrible! First off, the dogs were served without a bun for both. The were served on top of the fries and then the chili cheese onions was just added on top. We wanted dogs that we could pick up and eat. Where's the buns?? Secondly, the crinkle fries were burnt and almost the same color as the chili and hot dogs. They were so crunchy, they were hard to chew even with the chili on them. Poppers and rings were pretty good. I am willing to give a place a second chance, however I won't be going back for the hotdogs of any type. I grew up in Fallon, and getting to visit my folks with my husband this weekend opted us to try a new (to me) establishment that wasn't there while I was growing up! I was excited to see a new casual place, located right next to the amazing Stone Cabin (great coffee, by the way). The vibe is a fast-food, surf burger shop - with outdoor seating which we took advantage of, with a variety of burgers, chicken fares, and more. I opted for the chicken salad, my mom got the fish and chips, my husband got the chile verde burger, and my dad got a classic burger. All of which were pretty good! I will say, the chicken salad was comprised of just ice berg lettuce from the burgers, which was fine - the chicken was delicious in itself and the balsamic vinaigrette was delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their food, and my husband enjoyed the grilled poblano pepper on his burger. The service is fast food, casual, and the person who brought our food was so sweet and amazing, kudos to you! Thanks for being so pleasant! My husband decided to just wait by the fire pit, he loved the atmosphere. We both had the big woody hamburger. We loved them, it reminded me of an old hamburger joint in LA, so classic, so flavorful. We were in town last week, and while there we looked for a place for lunch. We found Woody's on the map and decided to give it a try. The food was very good, the service was excellent, the location was very nice and the ambiance was very comfortable. Outdoor seating, beautiful setting, fast friendly service and convenient parking on the street. It's close to the highway, so there was that sound in the background, however that was not bad. Lots of trees, umbrellas and fun music. When we are in town and the weather is acceptable we'll definitely eat here again. read more

After a day st Stillwater Wildlife Refuge, we were hungry! I don't eat burgers very often. Like maybe 3/year. Today I decided to splurge and make it one of those 3. I was not disappointed! I had the Smoky Burger and hubby had the Hawaiian. The burger was perfectly done, juicy and obviously a real burger, not frozen. Just the right amount of smokiness with tasty bbq sauce. The fries were lightly seasoned, crinkle cut, and perfect doneness. Crispy on the outside and creamy inside. The Hawaiian burger was equally delicious! There is only outdoor seating, which was nice on a sunny Nevada day. The decor was "surfer and beach" themed. We'll eat here again if we find ourselves hungry in Fallon. I chose a great spot. It is about 3 blocks east of Main Street next to a coffee shop (next time I go back I will try the coffee). I'm from Los Angeles so seeing this mom and pops burger stand brought back memories. It is outdoor seating might be a good idea to bring a nice jacket during the winter season. I ordered the big woody burger. The burger comes with like 4 thick bacon pieces, double patty and onion rings. I asked the cashier if it could be cut in half since I imagined it was going to be huge. The dining area even though it's outside feels super cozy. They even have a fire pit area. The bacon pieces are thick I mean I've been eating the wrong bacon all along. I only ate half of the burger as it was big. The fries were perfect nice and crispy. This is a gem as a whole. The cashier was super welcoming and went over the most popular burgers when she knew we had never been. I will definitely be back. read more

I was looking for a good burger place in Fallon and not McDonald's. Stopped by Woody's to try them out. It's a walk up window shop/ to go place. You have the option to eat outside on some tables. The outside looked nice decorated with skis and surfboards. I ordered a burger, some chicken strips, and some mozzarella sticks to go. The burger was very good. The meat taste fresh. Everything was tasty. The kids enjoyed the chicken strips and mozzarella sticks. The service was friendly and we got our food fairly quickly. They also served milkshakes which I didn't try yet. I'll be visiting this place again when I come back to Fallon. It's located basically behind the Stone Cabin coffee house. It's walking distance from Oats Park. Back in the old days, you had to walk to the "Arctic Circle" to get a burger and shake for you old timers out there. Then they changed it to a Dairy Queen. Stop by and give them a try. First call to different business no one answered phone. When I called Woodys phone was answered on first ring. Hannah was very pleasant and professional. She let me know they are locally owned. Answer was no but will 11:30 work. 11:30 works and Thank you Hannah for honesty vs. saying 11:00 and we would have to wait until 11:30. 100% great customer service.
