From California and the Sonics out there are hit or miss. Was craving a cherry limeade and decided to give a Nevada location a try. Nope. They messed up our order pretty bad. Missing stuff, like an entire burger... missing add ins like diced onion, and the worst of all... the pretzel tasted like a burnt donut. Absolutely disgusting. The texture was so wrong and it had a sweetness to it. Clean your oil please! Jalapeño poppers had sort of a powdered texture cheese inside which was also very odd. My poor Cherry limeade was watered down (I ordered no ice). It just did not taste right to anyone in our house and seemed like a waste of food. I don't think we'll be going here again. read more

Ordered via DoorDash on 5/8/2023. When my Dasher reached the pickup window, he was told they didn't have my order. When pressed he was offered someone else's order. Hey 2+2=4 right? The order being offered very likely belonged to whomever ended up with mine. I called the store. The lady who answered was not helpful. No attempt was made to find a transaction record. I was not asked what my order was. No offer to remake the order. It was then suggested I had ordered from the wrong location. If that was the case why was a Dasher located in Fallon dispatched to the Fallon restaurant. I was lied to, directly. Not helped. Completely brushed off. Only upside was my dasher was helpful and professional and did manage to get my order to me. I have since contacted corporate customer service to be brushed off by them as well. Can't say much as it's a major USA chain restaurant. But I will say the servers are very friendly and provide good customer service. The drinks are tasty and made according to Sonics standards. Food is hot and shows that the cook took time to make it presentable vs. BK or McDonald's burgers that are slapped together and end up falling apart. I would say the french fries are extremely salty. But other than that, it's a good spot for a very cheap quick meal or a delicious drink or milkshake. read more

I pulled into the drive through lane with 3 cars in front of me at 6:20 tonight. I ordered 2 kids meals, a chicken sandwich and small onion rings and did not get my food until 6:53pm. Once I got to the window at 6:40 (at this point I was paying attention to the clock because I was annoyed how long everything was taking) I saw my food sitting on the counter and gave the cashier my card. She took my card, shut the window and appeared to be taking someone else's order. I watched as one employee was eating ice cream, one employee was on his phone and another was just standing in the kitchen. The female cashier who took my card did appear to be working hard but the other three did nothing in the time I was sitting at the window. At 6:47 the cashier came back and gave me my food and card. At this point she said the drinks needed more syrup and walked away. She brought one drink back right away but then a 5th employee appeared. Maybe the manager? This guy appeared from what I assume was a back office and said something to all the employees. They then appeared to be walking around the kitchen looking for something. This went on for 4 minutes--again all I needed to leave was the drink the cashier had in her hand. The food was all cold, the onion rings were way overcooked. Will not be back. The cashier was working hard but I got the feeling the rest of the employees in the building were just collecting a pay check. read more

Sonic's is a fast food joint that I always look forward to going to. Not only because it's a fast meal for myself & my family, but the tasty Cherry Limeades here are to die for. (Anyone have the recipe?!) If you ever decide to come here, do yourself a favor & try one of their cool looking yummy drinks, there are a lot to choose from. You can even ask for candy, like nerds to be put in your drink of choice! I know I'll be hitting up my local Sonic for a Cherry Limeade to cool off with this Summer. Cheap, good food. What I received was a vanilla Blast with chocolate in the bottom (a bit), which the girl at the window mentioned to the guy who made it and then gave it to us without a word. Totally sick! especially after talking my wife into coming here after she wanted to go to Taco Bell. We spent $15 on basically dog chew toys. We had no idea Sonic dehydrated their chicken tenders and chicken breasts for their sandwiches. My wife ordered a 3pc chicken tender dinner and received 3 shriveled, dark, chewy offerings with a side of fries that were fried in oil that probably should have been changed a week ago. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich which was also dried and chewy and had that awesome carbonized oil taste her fries did. For drinks my wife ordered bottled water which she got and when I placed my order I said "I'll have water also" just assuming that meant bottled water too. What I received was a large tumbler of water that tasted like the local silt probably from unfiltered ice maker ice. For what you're charging Sonic, you have got to step up the quality or say goodbye. Yuk!!! Also just a piece of advice, my wife states "it frustrates me that I can't see the menu from the passenger seat." Cork, Ireland a cream in yer panties moment - he was gobsmacked that you could actually drive up to a parking spot, lean out your window, order food, and it would be delivered moments later by a roller-skating blonde teenager bearing food and a toothy smile. Food itself was okay - the burger meat itself was pretty bland, actually, and no amount of condiments can hide a dry burger, but it passed the test, especially when you know Fallon is literally the last bastion of civilization on the Loneliest Road in America before you hit..... We are back in Fallon for my daughters cheerleading. So she picked this place for lunch. Atmosphere - Again we sat outside as it was a beautiful day. We sat closer to the build, so I did not notice if they had a water issue this time. My daughter loves the car hops and how they roller skate around the place. Food Appetizer - None for us. Main Course - Had the NY Hot Dog. I actually looked at the website to make sure I had it right, scary and I did. The sauerkraut was so tasteless and dry I thought it was bad coleslaw. The hot dog itself was just bland. There was grilled onions on top of the kraut which gave it some color but no taste their either. That dog was a big bust with me. The only thing that saved that meal was those tater tots, I am just a sucker for those deep fried nuggets of goodness. Dessert - None, unless you count the slushy my daughter got. It was blue Powerade and it was surprisingly good. Service - Again another day of fast service by this crew. Future - No plans anytime soon to be in Fallon. read more

My mom loves treating us to Sonic whenever we come home to visit. I dig this Sonic because its so close to [my mom's] home. Where I'm at the closet Sonic is in a different county! Drive thru is pretty fast. They forgot the corn dog in my sons order one time. I called them to get things fixed, and the lady who took my call was super cool. I took another drive out there and my order was fixed right then and there without any problem. I can't say much about prices, since all of my meals here are free (thanks mom!!!), but customer service is spot on!!! read more

This was my first Sonic in like 15 years and I don't remember them being nearly this pricy. Just drove away from this Sonic. I ordered a number 1 with onion rings and a coke, a chicken wrap, and a route 44 diet cherry limeade. When we ordered the limeade first, the little girl told us that the soda machine would be down for 5-10 minutes. We told her we would wait. Then ordered the number one and asked for a coke. She left the sodas off the bill. Which is EXACTLY what I would do if I was making someone wait for something. Then he food came. Just the food. I was charged for a burger, a chicken wrap, and onion rings. We explained the situation to the person, who offered to ring us up for the drinks separately. O...kay? Like, I'm not against paying for what I get, but this was two inconveniences back to back. She rang it up with the happy hour discount. Guess what? A happy hour discount soda, burger, and side rung up separately STILL costs more than the meal, which is what I had actually ordered. This is one of the few Sonic locations I have actually seen the waitresses wear roller skates! However, otherwise, it's still a regular Sonic/ fast food joint. The food was a typical fast food burger, but there are some decent value items including chicken sandwiches. My friend got the chili cheese tots which I tried and would not have ordered myself; they were a bit too soggy and the chili was mostly just sauce. Terrible service. I have lived here for a year now, and I can count the number of correct orders on one hand. The final straw happened when they forgot to bring out our drinks and the carhop who said she would take care of it (in way that made me think I was inconveniencing her) brought out three more orders in ten minutes, but not our drinks.
