Update 2/26/26: I finally got my Yaki Udon. As it was now added to the menu instead of being on a blackboard in the window. Good service, was served by the cashier and there was only one other customer. The dish was... Miserable. Basically a low broth Udon noodle soup on a plate and not a fried noodle entree like it should be. None of the vegetables seemed pickled, so what was that sour off-taste coming from? Original Review: I tried really hard to like this place. Three times (visits) in fact. Day 1 and 2 i had the same hostess/server. Blonde (platinum?) hair? She was doing her best on the first night which was very busy. Second day was much less so and i got quicker service. She was friendly which in this town seems to be a hit and miss. Third day i was served by a hostess with black hair. Ice cold demeanor. The most thinly veiled "friendliness" switched on only the moment she looks at/addresses you directly. I already knew they were out of some of their dishes (much to my dismay) but to also not know what was on the menu? I mentioned the Yaki Udon on the blackboard titled "New Entrees" and she looked at me with dead eyes and said, "i have no idea what you're talking about". At which point i walked out. Day 1 i had the ramen. Pork belly in place of Chashu is interesting, certainly an easier substitute but i think they would benefit doing Chashu instead. Noodles were a decent texture. I just wish the broth was way hotter temp than it was. Day 2 i had the Crispy Baby Octopus and got to try their fried rice (as a side). Both were really decent for Fallon. But i felt i needed to go one more time before making a final decision/review and well... Day 3 totally bombed. Shockingly bad service and was there even any food left to serve? read more

Was not impressed with this place. The only thing I liked was the Japanese nachos and the ramen. Everything else we got was gross which was a bummer since we were excited to try out a new place. The service was just okay. The food took forever to come out and it wasn't even hot, it was lukewarm. The restaurant itself was cute and spacious though. The women's bathroom door only locked sometimes and the toilet wasn't connected to the floor so every time it was sat on it would lift off of the ground. We got the mussels and they were just okay and we got a boba but it was jelly boba not the tapioca kind so that was disappointing and off-putting. My Mom got the Szechuan beef and it was like sour and not good tasting. I got the orange chicken lunch special with fried rice and it was foul. The orange sauce was super sweet and thick like honey. The fried rice tasted nothing like any fried rice I've had before. It tasted so weird and had some weird seasoning/flavor to it. I don't know if I'd come back here but the ramen and Japanese nachos were delicious! read more

Food was favorable. The young lady at the counter was genuinely nice. This takeout was perfect.

We went in on a rainy day, so it wasn't too busy. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated very quickly. This place was extremely clean, and the staff were very friendly. We come from a very big city, so finding places to eat here in a small town can be sometimes difficult. Places that lack flavor & hospitality. This restaurant, DOES NOT lack any of those. We ordered muscles, chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, beef & broccoli, and fried rice. Everything was made fresh, and arrived to our table hot to the touch. Something I look forward to at a sit down restaurant. I'm very pleased with this place, and I hope everyone gives it a try like we did. We'll definitely be back! Thank you! read more

We had a really bad experience here from start to finish. The service was incredibly disorganized -- we had to ask multiple times for basic things like silverware and napkins. We ordered the crab cucumber salad, which was given to another table first, and when we finally got ours, it was $12.50 for mostly cucumbers with just a few tiny shreds of crab -- not at all worth the price. When our dinners arrived, we had to ask for knives to cut our steak, and even the rice that was supposed to come with our meals had to be requested separately. To top it off, the dessert that came with the meal was out and we were not told this when we ordered the meal. We had to ask about it after I went to ask die a box she just brought the check didn't even mention it. The girl was kind she did apologize , no discount was offered though. We weren't the only ones -- several other tables around us were dealing with the same issues. Overall, the food was not even good and the service was downright careless. Definitely not worth the time or the money. One guy walked out after sitting there for 20mins without evening being addressed. read more

We stumbled upon Uzumaki in Fallon, NV, after seeing its impressive reviews online, and we were not disappointed! We arrived around noon, and the place was fairly empty, which meant we got served quickly. To start, we tried the Japanese Nachos, a dish we had never heard of before, but it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend giving it a shot. For the main course, I had the Tonkotsu ramen, and my boyfriend ordered the chow mein with rice. Both dishes looked as amazing as they tasted. The noodles in the ramen were thin, flavorful, and seemed house-made--you can definitely tell the difference in quality. Overall, everything was tasty, and the service was excellent. Ever since Uzumaki opened, it has been a favorite of ours. My wife and daughter love the Crab Cucumber Salad, and I like the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. If you have ever been to Japan or a truly authentic Japanese ramen house, you know this is not Japanese!!! Additionally, There are instant ramen better than this for 20 times cheaper. The ramen broth has to always be the star it was not. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen expecting a very light but really rich broth with thin noodles as this is ment to be lighter ramen. However, that was not my experience the broth was flavorless and lacking so I only had in spoon sip of the broth. Went for the first time today for lunch around 12:15. They did a really nice job cleaning up the place after the last owners. Service was excellent. Started off with an order of Mussels and crab rangoon. The wife opted for the Naturo Ramen which she really Rangoon. I didn't know they had lunch specials until we got there, I ordered the lunch special with bourbon chicken. All the food was fresh and came out hot. Glad we have another good dining option in Fallon.
