Honestly I truly wanted to enjoy this place. The pico and salsa brought to the table were amazing. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. Our server had a lot of tables, and I think that's why our service ended up being sub par. We were the only table in the entire restaurant that didn't have waters brought to us. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out, and I absolutely don't mind, but it took 15 minutes and 3 attempts at calling my service over to get another beer. The food was great. I did ask for a spicy salsa and they brought me mild which is fine. Overall, I know what it's like to be an overwhelmed server, and the food was good. The flavors were definitely there. I went back again as I'm in town for a horse show and we are close by. The service was definitely better tonight. Jose is AMAZING!! I also had the servers whip me up a shrimp dish that was a mix of spicy and garlicky and they killed it. SO DELICIOUS!! The flavors were authentic and just in every bite. Food was decently good, however the cheese in the cheese enchiladas could have been melted more and the rice was overcooked and mushy. The bean and cheese burrito wasn't folded like a burrito but an enchilada fold. Which was kind of odd to me but my son still ate it. Decided to try this place since we were staying nearby. It's obvious that it is a cherished spot among locals. We were greeted by the proprietor and served delicious chips, salsa and this amazing tasting ceviche! I typically don't like ceviche but, maybe I was wrong about that based on that tasty dish! Our Enchiladas were plentiful and we even had leftovers. Full bar with a decent tequila selection too. Definitely a place to consider the next time we are passing through. read more

The cleaning solution they use is very offensive in smell. I like a clean restaurant but this was overkill. I should have turned around and found another place to eat. Yes, it was nicely decorated and clean. My waitress looked right at me as I entered and just kept chatting with the other waitress; another bad sign. Still, I was hungry so stayed I did. The queso with chorizo was a little dish of watery, pale yellow sauce with some meat that tasted like hamburger, not chorizo~and for $8.99! My burrito was better and a nice sized portion. I am surprised no other review mentioned the smell of cleaning solution instead of Mexican food being cooked. I'll never go back. read more

I just wanted to add another review, to solidify my thoughts on this wonderful Mexican Restaurant! I have now tried a couple different items. The Quesabirria Tacos, and the Diabla chicken Burrito. The Quesabirria tacos are a viral dish and the consome tasted wonderful and it comes with 3 tacos. Texture was great and extremely flavorful. The Diabla/o was on the spicy side but if you like spicy it's a great pick. It's not overpowering at all. The burrito is smothered which was a big plus in my opinion. Yum. I stopped in here for dinner last night. I've been wanting to try this place out ever since they opened but never had a chance to. Well last night was my chance. I walked in and was seated after a couple minutes. They gave me chips and salsa while I waited. I normally get a bean and cheese burrito but decided to get a chicken burrito instead since I haven't had one in a while. When they came to take my order, they gave me a choice of either grilled or shredded chicken. I picked grilled chicken. My order came out and I was pleased with the presentation. It was a full plate and looked nice. I took a bite of the burrito. The chicken had a nice seared flavor to it. The beans were good but they were a little watery. The rice was cooked perfect. Overall, the meal was excellent. The service was good. It was a little slow towards the end when I was wanting to check out, but I was in no hurry. The people there were nice. I think the owner was enthusiastic and friendly. He seemed like a nice guy. It was a nice and relaxing place to have dinner. read more

My wife and I have been regulars since the restaurant opened. We love it. The food is great, so is the service. The owner is pleasant and is always on the floor checking on the customers. We have a favorite waitress, Gracie, she is so pleasant. Always has a smile on her face. And very attentive and efficient. If you are one of the few in Fallon that hasn't been here, or you are from out of town, I highly recommend you give them a try. You won't be disappointed. I just wish they had happy hour because we all know that an $8 dollar schooner margarita could add up quickly rather than split them into a small for $8 or a medium for over $10 and so on... I would probably go there every day while I'm here on my two week adventures if HAPPY HOUR ever existed. The waitresses were amazingly knowledgeable and very sweet, and always made sure we were taken care of in my large party. There special was the pork Verde with rice and beans, and it was amazing! I also had the steak and chicken mixed Taco Salad and that was literally off the hook delish!!! This place used to be amazing when they opened, I thought. Our family went here last week for my son's birthday. The posole ordered only came with cabbage and onion, not a slice of lime, nor any cilantro, or radishes. We were looked at absurdly for requesting it. The tacos were flavorless the waiter forgot the guacamole and tortillas although he was nice enough and you could see that he was trying, it was not busy.
