Good lord was the breakfast from this place absolutely GLORIOUS. I had, arguably, the BEST breakfast biscuits I've EVER had in my 45yrs of life. They're handmade from scratch & the biscuits taste amazing. All the food we ordered was good. My wife ordered a breakfast quiche (also quite good) - and the waitress gave my wife a small, warm slice of zucchini bread which was simply majestic. All the folks who work there are super attentive & bring some next-level customer service to the table. On top of it all, the menu pricing is VERY reasonable. Moreover, aside from having good prices - the portions you receive are VERY generous. I will 100% for sure eating there next Fallon visit. In fact the ONLY reason I'm eating elsewhere this glorious Sunday morning is because courtyard isn't open on Sunday. read more

Service is fine. Polite. I've had better. It was a little slow. The amount of flies was annoying to continue swatting away throughout the entire meal. Omelette was good. I got the California omelette without pepper jack. I used the salsa on my potatoes to give them some flavor otherwise they were very bland. They were cooked correctly. Not mushy and not hard. Good tenderness without having to scoup them. I could stab them with my fork. So the tenderness was I don't really like the skins on my potatoes but I'm not going to ding them for that. I'll come back. But it's not somewhere I'm making plans to visit. If I'm in the area, the it would be worth the stop. (I live 30ish minutes away. Not sure if that helps) read more

Now, every time I come to Fallon, I have lunch here -- except of one time that was Monday... sadly they are closed on Mondays. On a Saturday we, a group of 6 came for lunch, and everyone had a fabulous dish! Was so impressed with their mushroom soup (very mushroomy and fragrant) and salad (suuuuper fresh and generous). Conveniently located off a main road, this cafe is cutely decorated and feels like home. Definitely a nice stop while passing through Fallon. Everyone working here is extremely friendly and sweet. I had a couple choices I was looking at, but decided to go with their recommendation of the French dip with house salad. Did not disappoint at all. The breakfast was not that good. Biscuits and gravy was just ok. The biscuits itself was dense and filling. Sasauge came as Patties they were good. Toast was not crisp for sourdough. I think the steam form the containers the food was in caused the food to taste different and a little soggy. May have to go In to try them out on a day off. My work schedule doesn't allow me to try this spot during the week days. Would like to try some of the sandwiches they have on menu. It looks great maybe just a off day. We planned on coming here for breakfast but we missed it. Lunch is great option as well. Service was top-notch. Place was small but very well maintained. This is a cute establishment with their country side curtains and fresh flowers on the tables. It really does live up to its name as a courtyard cafe! It was lunch time and quite busy which is a good sign. I could tell there was a lot of regulars which is another good sign. Our waitress was kind and helpful with giving us ideas of what we should try. I ended up ordering the steak sandwich with a cup of soup for my side. The soup of the day was chicken verde which was delicious! The steak sandwich was pretty good too. There were a bunch of pies in the display case next to our table. Service was good...very friendly people that work there. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a couple of over easy eggs. The eggs were cooked just the way I liked them. The biscuits however were not my style...I prefer a flaky biscuit over a cake style ( only way I can describe it). I loved this cafe in Fallon, Nevada. All the food is very fresh. They even bake all of their breads, pastries and pies in-house. We started our meal with coffee and a cinnamon roll that was to die for. The cinnamon roll was buttery and gooey and basically perfect. I ordered the Chicken Avocado sandwich with a side of pasta salad. The portions were huge, and I got to take some food home with me! My sister had the Turkey Cranberry sandwich which came on thick wheat bread. The pasta salad was truly amazing. I loved the broccoli and sun dried tomatoes in it. I couldn't leave without a slice of raspberry crumble pie for the road! Delicious. We sat at the counter for our meal, which was fun because we got to chat with the owner. He was so friendly and told us all about the origins of the restaurant. The restaurant is spacious and homey. It feels like dining in someone's living room. The cafe was busy on a Friday during lunch, but we didn't have to wait long at all for service. I would recommend coming in for some great food and service. read more

Wow!! What a super cute spot. Right now reservation are required and only 15 capacity and only 4 to a group. We were welcomed with a delightful good morning and were seated quickly. The staff were wearing mask.The tables were large and comfortable to sit at. Drink orders were quickly taken and brought back. The waitress was very very friendly. Everything on the menu looked delicious. They have a great variety of choices. The choices were hard. My wife chose the Garden wrap it came with scrambled eggs and tomato's, avocado, green onion, mushrooms wrapped in a wheat tortilla and served with house potatoes. Looking around I watched people ordering. I seen an order of biscuits and gravy being delivered to the table. I knew that's what I was going to have. And boy was I glad I did. Buttermilk biscuits and gravy was just incredible! There was so much sausage in the gravy and the biscuits were definitely homemade. After a wonderful breakfast I took a walk around and in the glass case were homemade cinnamon rolls and much much more. But what caught my eye were the homemade pies. As I was looking them over, there it was a Key lime pie!! Yes I must have a slice of that. WOW!!! This pie was soooooo yummy just the right tartness and the crust was so good you could tell that one one the ingredients must have been love. It was a very warm and friendly environment. The service was great. Coffee was refilled frequently and so was my tea. We can wait to get back on our next visit to Fallon to try something super yummy!!! read more
