The Courtyard Inn in Fallon, NV

The Courtyard Cafe and bakery is a Lovely Cafe that creates Homemade Food, Beautiful Pies & baked goods like cinnamon rolls, cupcakes and cookies. Lunches of burgers, pesto ravioli pasta dishes and so much more, in the heart of Fallon, NV. A Family owned business, happy employees like Caitlyn, a warm and charming Cafe with ambiance of a hometown feel. A wonderful place to eat and bring your friends and family. Also, My friend purchased a perfect tea pot that the cafe uses for their tea in the Cafe. Love the tea timer brought to the table for perfect tea. Charming! We had a burger and ravioli pesto dish. Delicious. If you are looking for a lovely spot for breakfast & lunch, Baked goods, Tea, coffee and Tea Pots, I suggest The Courtyard Cafe & Bakery. Say hello to Owner Andy and have a chat. I see why so many customers keep coming back year after year. This was my 2nd visit. See you soon for another great lunch and take home pie. Julie A

Quaint café and bakery in a convenient location with lots of seating both indoors and out. Be ready to be tempted by the pastries, cakes, and pies! It's OK to buy some to take home after your meal for a treat later! If you're craving a creamy, flavorful scramble, try the cream cheese eggs. Mine came with fruit, potatoes, and toast, and I opted for bacon, which was crispy and delicious. The blueberry pastry that I ordered to go was loaded with fruit and had a wholesome, not-too-sweet flavor and wonderful texture throughout. They were fairly busy and were slightly inaccurate on my order, plus served toast that was burnt, but were pleasant and quick to remedy. Overall a pleasant spot for breakfast or lunch!

Veggie Benny - normally served with house potatoes but I request fruit and it was so fresh and sweet.

Excellent Service and be prepared to smell the aroma of their baking, pies cinnamon rolls, cookies and so more

Can't say enough good things about this place. The breakfast, the lunch, the items from the bakery and the staff never disappoint! My favorite is the California omelette and Bacon Mushroom omelette. So good! My boyfriend loves the sliders and steak and eggs. Their biscuits and gravy is super delicious too. Should you have a sweet tooth, you can't go wrong with the cherry cheesecake!

Conveniently located off a main road, this cafe is cutely decorated and feels like home. Definitely a nice stop while passing through Fallon. Everyone working here is extremely friendly and sweet. I had a couple choices I was looking at, but decided to go with their recommendation of the French dip with house salad. Did not disappoint at all. Very tasty sandwich and probably the best house salad I've had. I guess they also make pies. Lots of them!

Delicious breakfast in lil' ol' Fallon! Enjoyed every bite. Very friendly service. Didn't try any pies but they all looked so amazing. Great coffee. Cute decor and family friendly diner vibes. If you are in Fallon, and if you are you also have to go The Grid, have breakfast and pie here!

This place was amazing. The service was great, and the food was very good. Everything was handmade fresh the same day baked goods were good including the cinnamon roll and scone. The gravy is made by the owner and the eggs with cream cheese and jalapeños were bomb. I would definitely recommend it.

We planned on coming here for breakfast but we missed it. Lunch is great option as well. Service was top-notch. Place was small but very well maintained. It was lunch time so we expect it to be busy but the owners along with two other ladies were very efficient and friendly. I will definitely be coming back for breakfast. Make sure to check out their hours of operation.

    Sweet chicken with fruit bowl.

It gets a little noisy, but the food makes up for it! Small place, so not much seating. That being said I've n never had to wait.

Somewhat of a new bakery and general food spot in Yerrington. I have come here a few times now to…read moregrab lunch and each time its been solid. I have had their Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Philly Cheesesteak, and Carne asada burrito. Even with the food being above average I still hesitate to go back because of a few things. First one being in regards to the seating within the restaurant. It's a complete joke. I don't want to sit in small uncomfortable metal chairs or a wooden bench. Second, is their french fries, they are way to greasy and really just suck. I have even requested them to be well done but even then they are limp and greasy. Lastly, why can't I have a breakfast burrito for lunch. It's weird that I can have it after 2pm but can't at noon. Overall, like it said it's not a bad spot but it's also not a spot I would crave to eat at either.

I've already been here a couple times now. I wanted to wait on reviewing it until they've had…read moreenough time to work out the kinks (they've recently opened). I'll start by saying I'm not crazy about the interior. I do like the hanging lights they've put up to give it a dark & cozy feel, but I hate the seating arrangements. For starters, there's only 2-3 tables with chairs and they look cheap. Almost like they picked them up at a garage sale or something. Also, the place doesn't have a very welcoming vibe to it, in my opinion. It appears unorganized and hastily thrown together. That's the biggest area of improvement I see for this place. Now on to the good. On my first visit, all I ordered was the Peanut Butter Protein shake and it wasn't very good. The taste of banana was strong with only a hint of PB. This time around, the flavor profile was much more balanced. So while it has improved, it's still something I feel I could just whip up at home instead of plopping down $6 bucks for. It needs something added to give it a boost. I also gave the food a shot and ordered the, "New York", bagel. It was scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, and ham (I had them hold the ham) sandwiched in between a, you guessed it, bagel. I will admit, it was delicious. Huge, as well. They certainly don't skimp on the serving size. My only complaint was that they used what appeared to be a "Kraft" slice of cheese. I could be wrong, but that's what it looked like to me. I wish they would use a higher quality cheese. The customer service is good. In the few times I've been there I haven't encountered any rude employees. While I feel that there's definitely some improvements that need to be addressed, they're also off to a decent start. Using better quality ingredients, labeling items that contain nuts (for those with allergies), and improving the look & feel of the interior is what I would like to see. I will definitely come back from time to time to try out other menu items.

Inside this refurbished old grammar school is an amazing little cafe operated by YTA. I used to come to the cafe when I lived in Yerington and it was under different management. I am so happy to see that the Cafe has been revived under the capable management of Roy Enochson, the Executive Director of YTA. A friend and I decided to have lunch here recently. The Cafe is in the lobby area of the Theater and serves as a place to eat, an art gallery and a boutique for all sorts of arts and crafts most of which are locally made. The space is a bit like being in a favorite Auntie's parlor with little tables, comfy chairs and a visual cornucopia of treasures. My friend ordered the lunch special - butternut squash ravioli with a side salad. I ordered the Cafe Signature Salad - a lovely fresh blend of baby greens, apples, cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts all lightly dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette. I also had a blood orange Italian Soda. The food was all tasty and fresh. Service was vey friendly, but the food was slow coming out. It was worth the wait. Our total bill for the two of us was under $20. While the portions were not huge, the meal was satisfying and the quality was excellent. This is a definite place to stop if you are in the area. It is a fabulous alternative to the fast food and casino coffee shops that are in the area.
