Just to be clear, this is not a full restaurant. It's more of a quick coffee stop where you can grab bagels and croissants. There is indoor seating, but the place is small. I was in the area in a Saturday afternoon, so I decided to have a quick snack and coffee. I follow Stone Cabin on IG and always wanted to visit this cute little cafe, so yeah, perfect timing. The place is special, unique, almost like a little local historical museum. When I went in, there were no other customers, but the two staff were busy serving people who were doing drive-thru. I sat down and had my iced coffee, observing the good vibe. The baristas are really, really nice. Genuinely nice. The coffee was great. Also I loved the ladies' room... THE cutest! read more

just want to put it out there, these baristas KNOW how to pull amazing creamy espresso, I overheard the lead training the barista and she is spot on and has a passion for coffee. They truly use the bean to its full potential, this isn't starbucks folks if you're looking for the real deal you must come here. I trust them enough to drink the espresso straight. I got the mama bear latte iced with almond milk, SO GOOD. My boyfriend got the stupid cupid with club soda, delicious on its own although im sure the added splash of cream would taste great as well. Looked up some coffee shops as we got close to Fallon and saw this one had great reviews, so we had to swing by! The coffee shop is a small cabin that feels very cozy and homey. They have an extensive list of flavors and specialty drinks for their coffees. They have a fun board of barista favorites too! I was between a specialty drink from their regular menu and the "Syd" from the barista menu. One of the baristas spoke up and said I should do the Syd because that one was hers, so I had to get it! The Syd is a honey and cinnamon latte with a lavender cold foam. I didn't realize the cold foam added an extra $1.50, so the total for this drink came out to over $8 which felt too pricey for an iced coffee. However, it wasn't a huge deal because I really liked the drink! The flavors went well together and it was very refreshing on a hot day. I'm glad to have stopped by! read more

I'm sad I did not get to take pictures of our coffee and pastries. This place is really cute and very fun to sit inside. Everyone is really friendly and the service is excellent. This is a small cabin looking coffee shop in Fallon. The parking can be a little tight, especially since there is a drive through window. However, it's such a quick walk if you park down the street so it's still very convenient. I will definitely be going back again when we are in town. read more

Sunday afternoon drives are something my wife and I frequently enjoy together. Todays took us into Fallon, the long way through Carson City. A beautiful over cast day threatening of thunder storms and rain, we decided to stop for coffee. My wife had been wanted to come here for some time, and she wanted me to try their Cantaloupe Cold Foam special for the Cantaloup Festival. So we did. This was a fun drink. Not overly sweet and certainly cantaloupe forward. My wife got a Vanilla Lavender Chai that she rather liked as well and we sat and chatted and enjoyed the calm and welcoming atmosphere before hitting the road once more. This is a hidden gem in rural Nevada that I would encourage all to find. read more

This place is so cool. The vibe is unmatched anywhere in Northern Nevada and it really makes the experience special. I wish Stone Cabin was closer because I could just see myself hanging here, especially in the gloomy colder winter days! I love the exposed river rock, historic decor, taxidermy and the wood stove. The handmade wood furnishings and well finished floors warm up the space so nicely and I really didn't want to leave. I'm a simple coffee drinker. Drip, black, no room. I'm not sure who they get the coffee from but it tasted good enough to me. I desperately needed a pick me up and it delivered. If you're in Fallon, do not miss this spot! read more

Found this coffeehouse on Yelp, Loved the Decor. The Coffee is very good. Couldn't find a place to Park though, so I parked by the Transmission Shop. Place was Packed. What a cute and cozy coffeshop! I like that it's not in the heart of Fallon, so you have to hunt a little bit to get to it. I've been twice, once through the drive through in summer, which was my first visit an then New Years Eve day my boyfriend and I went inside. First, the Drive through: at the time it looked like a normal drive up window. An employee was there, took our order and payment. A timely manner later, we received our coffees. Second, the in store experience: There are two restrooms you walk in, when you come in the back. There's a gravel lot in the back you can park in, or some of the surrounding streets. They had some Christmas decor: hats on the taxidermized animals, plus lights and a gorgeous flocked tree. Once inside, I realized it wasn't your typical drive up window scenario, it was just a window on the side of the building the barista slides open, takes your order and then walks across the establishment to make your coffee. For Christmas time, they had some fun Christmas themed drinks: Dirty Snowman, the Grinch, Rudolph and others (see pic for the menu) 10/10 would recommend. the baristas were super nice and the spot is cozy and truly like a little cabin. With the winter storm this past NYE, it definitely made me forget I was in the desert, and thought I was in the mountains. read more

Got there before they opened so there was no wait. I have been meaning to check this place for a while and finally did and I beat myself for waiting this long haha The place is really cozy and has a very nice atmosphere to it. The decor is well done, rustic and wild. There is a sitting area outside and inside. The inside has a couple of TVs and a few tables for you to sit, enjoy your coffee and do some work or enjoy some good company while sipping on your coffee (or chocolate if you are weird like that hahaha) The staff was super nice and being it was my first visit, I had few questions about their blends and specialty drink and they were happy to answer my questions. I was super happy to find out they had a drink named after me - the Cookie Monster - so I had to get that and it was really good, also had the S'mores and that was also great. I've come in a few times in the past but this stop justifies a review. Being in town on a visit for worK I stopped in to get some notes all caught up. I usually grab my drink and beeline for the freeway but it was nice to sit and take in the environment. Every nook and cranny was decorated with some form of Christmas decor- which I loved. There is a fire pit outside to even enjoy some outside seating. I asked for an almond Rocha latte, but I was told that syrup is no longer available. I asked for a toffee nut latte and was suggested to try the toffee nut/ vanilla/caramel latte. Opened to suggestions it was amazing. The perfect blend of each type of syrup. This is the type of place of place where everyone knows your name of you live in town and are a regular! Brand new, just opened today, coffee, tea, wine, and beer cafe located on Williams, across from Fox Peak Theatres near Oats Park. It's exciting to see new businesses open up in Fallon. Especially coffeehouses with such charm as Stone Cabin. Once you enter, it's as if you were in a quaint little coffeehouse in the mountains. The cabin is full of reminders of farmhouses and a taxidermy shop (I don't think they're real). You feel like a bit of Tahoe has been transported to our Oasis in the Desert. Love all of the natural elements in the shop; the wood furniture, the rock, the brass, The baristas are very nice, We tried out the hot chocolate (mmm, mmm) and a raspberry white mocha latte (doubly mmm...) Place had a good crowd of Black Friday shoppers, stopping for a good cuppa after a hard day of hitting the stores. Great place to have a sit and sip. Have a beer or two and watch some tv, chat around the fire pit, or just relax from your day of imaginary skiing, 2 hours away. I've got paint damage to my car from things falling on it when sitting in the drive thru. I've had a barista lie to me about the content of drinks on the menu and then charge me extra for insisting my drink be made as per the printed menu. I've had more than one barista not know which drink was which when handing me my order. I've sat in the drive thru and watched customers park in front of the building, go in, order, and get their drinks and leave (all after I placed my two drink order) before I received my order. I've had drinks messed up (Pumpkin put in my daughter's cocoa instead of my latte). I've had to ask for raffle tickets every single time I've gone in since they started the raffle this year, including the first time, when the barista let me know they had started the raffle. I went in last night (December 15, 2021) for the raffle and purchased cocoa for my family only to watch the barista pull a canister of mix from under the counter. Cocoa mix is the equivalent of microwave popcorn: you enjoy it at home as a suitable substitute for the real thing. Nobody would pay theater prices for microwave popcorn while at a theater, why on earth are you having customers pay Coffee Shop prices for cheap cocoa mix we could have made at home? I sent a message to Stone Cabin on the 8th to let them know of the issues I've had, including the damage to my car. The message was seen the same day but I've yet to get a response. No apology, nothing. The owner talks a big game about loving and appreciating every one of her customers, but when one has a problem, it's completely ignored. read more
