The waitress suggested to put Stracciatella on top of the pizza and that it would be ooey and gooey....wrong! The pizza was so soaked out that you would have to fold it up in order to keep it in place while that's so-called ooey gooey stuff ran down your hand and arm. Hope you enjoy using napkins because you'll need lots of them. We were there for at least an hour and a half.. with this kind of service, I would expect to be eating at a steakhouse for that amount of time. I feel the service could've been a lot quicker. For the price we paid, we would have been better off, going to a steakhouse. As for the ambience, well lit, but it felt like cafeteria style trying to be sports bar like but also trying to give the perception that you're in a kind of Italian restaurant. The summer food truck series is great because it is an additional incentive to get people to come out and experience the ranch for the first time. There has been some fantastic Mexican food, burgers, Balinese, ice cream, and many others. The whiskey tasting is very special because you get to learn about what you're drinking from the people who actually made it. The distillery tour is fascinating because it is a working facility and you get to see real whiskey being made. Standing in the rock house makes you realize how the climate affects the whiskey aging process. In the winter, it is very cool with the scent of Oak. In the summer, it is warm and you still smell the oak, but the evaporating alcohol is very strong. There is always a special release whiskey available in addition to their usual production whiskeys. This trip I was able to get a single barrel 100% wheat. As always, it is amazing!
