Ab is the best place to buy liquor. Customer service is great. The clerk has a great personality, she jokes around, smiles and is helpful.

So the wife and I were in Fallon this week to take care of some business…read more While we were out there, we thought we would check out one of the local establishments. We were actually looking for another establishment, but could not find it for whatever reason. However, as we were looking, we saw La Fiesta and made a uturn and headed right over. I can honestly say this was well worth checking out. As you walk in the place is pretty spacious and I have to say that the decor is really nice. I included a picture of some of the artwork that is on display. It was just after the lunch hour, so it was pretty much empty in there and we were able to get seated right away. The gentleman that seated us seem to be pretty nice, but didn't make too much conversation, which is fine. He brought us menus and brought chips and salsa after that and took our drink orders. We sat and made small talk as we waited and continued to check out the decor. Being that it wasn't very busy, our food did not take long to arrive But I have to say the chips and salsa was very good and it also included a sort of cabbage type of pico de gallo. Which I only got to try it once because my wife hogged it all. That's how much she liked it. Our food arrived shortly and man did it look good and it tasted even better I can honestly say that. My wife had the chili Colorado and a taquito with beans and rice. I chose to try the chili Verde plate that also came with beans and rice. Both dishes came with warm tortillas. I can honestly tell you that this Chile Verde was legit and I could not get over how good it tasted. My wife was equally as happy with her food and we both kept saying how much we enjoyed it and we plan to come on back and try something else. After eating, I needed to use the restroom, which was clean to my liking, of course And as I walked back to the table, I noticed there was some stairs leading down to a Cantina, which I thought was pretty cool. I did not go down to check it out being it was so early in the day. I didn't think it was open, but I will probably check it out next time we go back. So if you are in Fallon Nevada, and would like to try some amazing Mexican food check out La Fiesta because you will not be disappointed

The restaurant is off the main road with plenty of parking behind the building. We were greeted by…read morea friendly employee and got to choose where to sit as we were the first people to arrive. The chips were warm, thick and fresh. You are served mild salsa and a cabbage mix to scoop your chips into. The cabbage had good flavor and was a unique addition, we really enjoyed it! The salsa was mild and a bit on the average side. You can tell the tomato tasted like it came from a can. My husband got the ground beef enchilada which came out steaming hot and I got the fish taco from the lunch menu, both portions were massive! We both thought the rice and beans were delicious! I was a little disappointed with the fish tacos because when I took a bite of the first one, the tortilla split and everything fell out onto my plate after the first bite (same with the others). I then had to eat my taco with a fork which was new for me. I'm someone that goes with the flow, but I must say I've never eaten a taco with a fork before. The fish was battered which I didn't mind, but it was soggy from the pico. It would've been better to have had two tortillas holding the fish taco instead of one thin tortilla and maybe put the pico on the side. The beef burrito was just ok, it needed more flavor. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and the food came out fast. We really appreciated the service and hospitality.

FINALLY a good restaurant in Fernley!!! I've ordered and dined-in and picked up from here about 25…read moretimes now. Probably more... I love their pepperoni pizza and I get their garlic cheese bread to go with it and about a metric ton of ranch and marinara sauce. They BURN (cook) the pizza like it's supposed to be and it's consistent every time I order it! The only thing that's ever changed is the size of their sauce cups. But the food is amazing and always the same every time I order it! The staff is amazing, they are the nicest people in the world and always provide awesome service. THANK YOU Fire Forno for being here in Fernley, we finally good food!!!

2/25/26 Came to visit some friends in Fernley. My friends…read morewere a little apprehensive of going to Fire Forno because when they went last, it was under a different management/owner. The server was nice but the food was sub par. We had ordered a few things off the menu for a party of four to share. First of all, the house salad would have been better if the salad dressing wasn't watered down. The rigatoni bolognese pasta, I would've been better off buying a bottle of Ragu and rigatoni and making it myself. The creamy wine Marsala was ok but could have been better .We ordered some chicken wings and they couldn't even do that right. The pizza, the only good part about that was the crust. The waitress suggested to put Stracciatella on top of the pizza and that it would be ooey and gooey....wrong! The pizza was so soaked out that you would have to fold it up in order to keep it in place while that's so-called ooey gooey stuff ran down your hand and arm. Hope you enjoy using napkins because you'll need lots of them. We were there for at least an hour and a half.. with this kind of service, I would expect to be eating at a steakhouse for that amount of time. I feel the service could've been a lot quicker. For the price we paid, we would have been better off, going to a steakhouse. As for the ambience, well lit, but it felt like cafeteria style trying to be sports bar like but also trying to give the perception that you're in a kind of Italian restaurant. Which added to confusion of the representation of this restaurant. Only within a couple hours after leaving, my stomach began to get really upset. Thank goodness there is ginger ale at home! This place is overrated if there is any kind of rating and definitely not worth the money to spend there. I definitely will not be back.

What a neat spot to check out if you're into bourbons! Belly up to their small bar for some…read moretastings then take off on their short but informative tour. Meet the owners and chat about what makes their bourbon so special. Grab a few bottles of their limited production, pick up a bag of their boozy beef jerky and a few jars of their fabulous boozy pickles, you won't regret it!

I still can't say enough about how much I enjoy visiting Frey Ranch. No matter how many times I…read morevisit, I still learn something new about farming techniques, the distillation process, aging methods, and product finishing. Everyone at the ranch is so welcoming and friendly. It shows how much they love what they do and how much they want to share with us. The summer food truck series is great because it is an additional incentive to get people to come out and experience the ranch for the first time. There has been some fantastic Mexican food, burgers, Balinese, ice cream, and many others. The whiskey tasting is very special because you get to learn about what you're drinking from the people who actually made it. The distillery tour is fascinating because it is a working facility and you get to see real whiskey being made. Standing in the rock house makes you realize how the climate affects the whiskey aging process. In the winter, it is very cool with the scent of Oak. In the summer, it is warm and you still smell the oak, but the evaporating alcohol is very strong. There is always a special release whiskey available in addition to their usual production whiskeys. This trip I was able to get a single barrel 100% wheat. As always, it is amazing!
