My husband got the ground beef enchilada which came out steaming hot and I got the fish taco from the lunch menu, both portions were massive! We both thought the rice and beans were delicious! I was a little disappointed with the fish tacos because when I took a bite of the first one, the tortilla split and everything fell out onto my plate after the first bite (same with the others). I then had to eat my taco with a fork which was new for me. I'm someone that goes with the flow, but I must say I've never eaten a taco with a fork before. The fish was battered which I didn't mind, but it was soggy from the pico. It would've been better to have had two tortillas holding the fish taco instead of one thin tortilla and maybe put the pico on the side. The beef burrito was just ok, it needed more flavor. Our server had a lot of tables, and I think that's why our service ended up being sub par. We were the only table in the entire restaurant that didn't have waters brought to us. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out, and I absolutely don't mind, but it took 15 minutes and 3 attempts at calling my service over to get another beer. The food was great. I did ask for a spicy salsa and they brought me mild which is fine. Overall, I know what it's like to be an overwhelmed server, and the food was good. The flavors were definitely there. I went back again as I'm in town for a horse show and we are close by. The service was definitely better tonight. Jose is AMAZING!! Everyone at the ranch is so welcoming and friendly. It shows how much they love what they do and how much they want to share with us. The summer food truck series is great because it is an additional incentive to get people to come out and experience the ranch for the first time. There has been some fantastic Mexican food, burgers, Balinese, ice cream, and many others. The whiskey tasting is very special because you get to learn about what you're drinking from the people who actually made it. The distillery tour is fascinating because it is a working facility and you get to see real whiskey being made. Standing in the rock house makes you realize how the climate affects the whiskey aging process. In the winter, it is very cool with the scent of Oak. In the summer, it is warm and you still smell the oak, but the evaporating alcohol is very strong. There is always a special release whiskey available in addition to their usual production whiskeys. This trip I was able to get a single barrel 100% wheat. As always, it is amazing!

We started with the tasting room, despite them being busy, we were greeted right away and started tasting their lineup of Bourbon and Whiskey, with explanation of each one. We then had a walking tour of the Distillery explaining the process of how their products are made, unfortunately they weren't in the process of any at the time. No trip would have been complete without purchasing a bottle of their Bourbon.

Located on Center and South Maine, it's very easy to find and there is plenty of parking downtown. Downtown businesses are also opened which can make for a pleasant evening event. Lattin Farms is always there with it's vegetables and fruits, jams and sauces. We picked up some gorgeous tomatoes for our Labor Day BBQ. A farmer from Sanger, CA was there with some sweet and delicious plums, nectarines, peaches, grapes and other fruits. I picked up some of those nectarines. They were so good! There were also vendors who made pastries, cookies, and pies. I was also intrigued by the vendors who make their own soaps, bath salts, vanilla extract, bamboo knotted grocery bags and cotton grocery bags. Got there late as folks were packing up, but just in time to get my food and enjoy what was left. If you get there early, you may catch local musicians, a larger crowd, and more sights and savory smells!

The lady who may be the owner was outright friendly, accommodating, and not one who chases and spies on you. She outwardly offers to discount and then discounts without asking!
