I was concerned when I saw that one of my go-to places in Fallon has seemingly fallen from grace with one-star reviews, lots of one-star reviews. I decided to investigate. I can see why people have been disappointed. I was too. The service was lacking, the food was bland, the coffee was disgusting. The prices are no longer locals friendly and come closer to a quality diner with great service. Jerry's is no longer either. Back in its day there would be a wait in the mornings, and a crowd at lunch. There were only 6 tables of diners right in the middle of lunch. For the food we ordered two breakfasts, one sandwich and one of my friends had a salad that was just ok. Everything else was stale, greasy or microwaved. Not sure what has happened here, but I am sad for the people of Fallon. read more

SO good! We have been here twice for breakfast and so far I have not been disappointed. The service is good, although one waitress is a bit of an oversharer but it's not too bad. Everyone else has been great, super friendly and helpful. They even helped my son make a custom omelette because he's so picky about his food lol. If you like chorizo, the Chorizo Burrito is amazing! Granted, it makes the orange juice taste funny but otherwise delicious! The facilities are mostly clean, the bathrooms could use more check ins by staff but otherwise not bad. They made a mistake on my card but quickly rectified it which was nice. We will be back here again! read more

Went to Jerry's restaurant yesterday for dinner. The food was great. The service was horrible and disrespectful. Once we received our food we were overlooked, our waitress never came back to check if we needed anything. Totally avoided us.!! Asked everyone around us, but avoided us, if you are serving the customers, everyone should be treated with respect. PLEASE get past racism!! read more

For the last 5 or more years coming through here to and from Burning Man we always think this place may change. We keep giving it another chance since it's across from our hotel. I'm not going to sugar coat it but the food is horrible. This is just today's visit and all others were just as bad if not worse. Soggy hamburger bun because they put the pickle with juice on the bottom in the basket and the bun on top. I told the guy and his response was "sometimes that happens" The soggy veggies that came with the flat meat loaf slices looked like they sat in water all night. The meat loaf was thin sliced meat covered in gross brown gravy. The mashed potato's one tiny scoop with the same brown gravy all of the food looked like it had been sitting. The meat loaf wasn't even hot like it was warmed up but still cold. At least they took care of all the flies. There were some but not as many as last time. $ 80.00 for a kids burger meal with fries that looked old, a chili burger deluxe with what tasted like canned chili on top and two pieces of bread with some macaroni salad and I had the meat loaf that was so disgusting. We gave you all so many tries and we decided today was going to be the last time. Get a new cook this is truly the worse place to eat at. read more

My husband and I went to Fallon for the day and wanted to stop for lunch. We saw Jerry's and it looked like a nice place to go in and sit down. Our waitress was really nice. She got our drink order to give us time to look at the menu. My husband got a BLT and I got a grilled cheese with ham. The food came right away. It wasn't bad just mediocre and for what we got it was really pricey. After we got our food never saw the waitress again. We had to wave down someone to get our check. Also as I was sitting there I noticed how dirty the windows were. They had hand prints and grease from little ones, I'm sure. For crying out loud, wipe the windows down if it's dirty. I went to the restroom and I went to wash my hands the automatic soap dispenser was empty. What was funny was there's the sign saying employees have to wash their hands. The pictures from years ago look fantastic. But that's not what they look like now. When I first started going to Jerry's, I didn't get great food then either. But I went for the atmosphere and an okay breakfast/coffee before work. Then one morning I was served a corned beef hash that amounted to two spoonfuls pressed flat, and the potatoes dwarfed everything on the plate. Sensing my obvious shock and displeasure, the server indicated to me (low key) that something had changed. Either in the management or kitchen (I didn't hear her clearly because she was whispering) but portion control became impossible and profit was being squeezed out of every plate/ingredient. This placed has completely turned itself around due to amazing new ownership. In the past it was plagued with multiple issues and one visit was enough. However Jerry's has turned over a new leaf and been revitalized! Food was great, service was stellar and the overall ambiance was pleasant. We'll be coming here more often! read more

Stopped here to get off the road. The staff is quick to serve and they refilled my iced tea several times. I ordered a club sandwich with cole slaw. The sandwich is basic on toasted white bread, and was really well made. My husband and I stopped in here for lunch after a recommendation from the lovely ladies at the county museum. The shake was mostly milk, the macaroni salad had old macaroni in it, and all the food was bland. When we complained to the waitress, she explained that there were new high school students working there And hadn't gotten the hang of it yet. She said she would discount our order, which she didn't. My big question is why wasn't there a manager making sure the high school students were doing their jobs correctly? We will never eat here again. read more

Ashamed to say after being in Fallon for two years already, this was my first time at Jerry's. Jerry's is a favorite amongst the locals and I've been meaning to check it for a while. Every time I drive out to Idaho from Southern California, I spend the night at Fallon, NV. It's exactly in the middle and it's perfect town to stay over night for a rest. Then....i always stop by at Jerry's for a nice warm meal with coffee and a piece of pie. The Ruben sandwich was ok....but the fries were good, coffeee was hot, apple pie a la mode was excellent....and service was FANTASTIC! Sara was our server and she greeted us with wonderful smile and friendly hospitality. She was very attentive and her service was quick and EXCELLENT! As a business owner, I know it's extremely hard to find good employees these days. I wish I had wonderful employee with great attitude like Sara. If my business was closer, I'd make her an offer to work for me. read more

Service was fantastic, our server, Sherri was not only KIND but she is tentative! She really cares about the customer and ensuring your visit is enjoyable. It's an old fashioned style diner with "mom and pop" style food. I'm pretty sure I saw a sign inside that said "just like grandma used to cook" if that gives you any idea what you're going to get when you dine in here :) Chicken fried steak and the super fluffy waffles passed our family's test. The whole experience was disappointing, from waiting at the door to be seated to food ordering. It seems there is only one responsible server taking orders. Food was mediocre to say the least. Management needs to step in and handle the lack of professionalism and accountability with their employees. If I were you, I'd find another place to grab something to eat. read more

I went here with a few friends and while I admit we did stay a little close to closing, the way we were treated by the server was so unprofessional. Everything started moderately ok with service and me and my friends are very understanding and patient, seeing as she was the only server there. So when she forgot things we asked for or continuously repeated questions we already answered, we just turned a blind eye. But it got to a point where you could tell she was very upset and started like growling and walking around talking to herself. Even inserting herself into our conversations. When we got to the end of our meal and got asked if we needed boxes she brings them over, cannot get them apart, gets frustrated, growls and YELLS about it, and then throws the containers down and says "Get them apart yourself because I can't do it." then storms off. It gets to about 10 minutes before close and as a food service worker myself I normally try to leave before then, so color me embarrassed on that front. However when she informs us of the time she's rude and very rushing about it, despite me and my friends immediately getting up to leave and apologizing. When we go to pay it's like everything comes crashing down because I personally didn't want to tip for the service I got. Despite me really enjoying the food, the cook that night did amazing. She sees me write in a zero for the tip and has an absolute MELTDOWN about it. Yelling things like "Wow that's so nice guys!" "That's so awesome of you!" "Hope you have a great night!" in a very aggressive tone. Which again completely unprofessional, and if she really wanted a tip her service would've reflected that. Whether it was close to closing or not, whether she was frustrated or not, whether she was stressed or upset or just on drugs it was insane. I personally love Jerry's and will continue to go there but if I see Miss Kori again as my server I will 100% be turning away. read more

Consistently poor service. On five separate visits, slow service and disinterested staff, who are predominantly teenagers, have ruined the dining experience. On one occasion, I observed the young staff members on their phones with AirPods on, hugging and joking with each other instead of attending to the customers waiting to be seated. During my last visit, my family and I waited for 15 minutes to even place an order, despite the restaurant being slow that day. We had to flag down the manager to be served. It's sad to see a once reputable diner go downhill. I unfortunately will no longer dine here until management does something to improve their service. read more
