Now called the boozy lion, this place has a small cooktop/fryer setup that makes great burgers!! Looking for something open late that serves food this is a good place to stop. I just moved to Fallon. Ordered from The Slippery thru DoorDash. They had the hamburger I've been craving, with a few modifications. They followed my directions to a T! I didn't realize the burgers automatically came with fries (my bad‍) and ordered onion rings and fried zucchini. My housemate had a regular hamburger and enjoyed hers as well. Everything arrived nice and hot. I was only able to eat half my burger last night. Warmed the other half tonight. The second half was just as good as the first half! Stopped in for an evening out on the town with my other half. Order two simple mixed drinks. Both drinks tasted like water and ice. Honestly, the worst drinks I have ever tasted in my 30-plus years walking this world. I have been all over the world traveling and had better mixed drinks in a 3rd world country. Bartender looked sloppy and seemed to lack pride in looking and dressing decent for a customer service job. Will give her credit for being the cook and bartender and cleaner by herself. Bar was dirty and filthy and had flies flying around. Music was a playlist selected by a drunk customer who was blasting it loudly and walking around the bar trying to rap and scream the lyrics. During our 10 minutes inside, the local police barged in looking for a group of folks who had come in and ran to a back room. It was really suspicious and we decided for our safety to leave immediately. We were told a few days later by locals that it's a known spot for violence and other illegal activities. Was told never to go back and avoid it at all costs. I would HIGHLY reccomend to not go here!!! Just go to P's & Q's Tavern down the road, that bar looks like a 5 star restaurant in NYC, and has a safe, fun atmosphere, and is owned by military veterans who welcome all! read more

Definitely gives the dive bar experience. Hubby and i went bar hopping our first week in town and stopped in for some drinks and was met with a friendly bartender who seemed slammed as she was also cooking. Drinks were on the weak side unfortunately. read more

Out of towners first time (sketchy looking). Seems like a locals only bar, smoking allowed. Grungy looking place but as soon as the food came, this place changed our minds. Had the greenwave burger and it was greasy-goodness. They don't skimp on the jalapeños. The Reuben burger was also delicious. Took a while for the food to come out but it was worth it. read more

Look, if you come here with expectations of a "burger joint", you're gonna be disappointed. HOWEVER, if you want a dive bar, "locals only" kinda place, you'll be happy. The beer is cold and the burgers are good. I got the Greenwave Burger (jalapeños and green chilies, with cheese and bacon) and the onion rings (delish!). The bartender is also your chef, so don't expect that you're going to get your food super quick. It took two beers to get my burger, lol. This place was great until they hired poor bartenders that refuses to cook for you every time you try to order and when they do cook for you they do their best to take their time to make it. I mean over a hour just to chop the pastrami is bad. I been going here for years even before this owner and loved it until these 2 female bartenders were hired. If they got some customer friendly bartenders this place would be great. The food is really good if you could ever get it. Update. They fixed the problems and now it's a great place to go to. Went in on a Thursday evening for dinner. It wasn't very busy, maybe six people inside. We ordered food and had to wait over an hour for burgers to be made. Apparently this place is a popular door dash pick up location, and there's only one grill that can hold about six burger patties at a time. So many meals were being made, just going out the door. They were very accommodating to our big group. They're food was yummy and came out relatively fast for only one person cooking the food. It was relatively clean given it was a bar, there could have been a few more things done to keep it clean. I had the pastrami burger. They're burgers we're huge but a little bit greasy. I entered the bar to order dinner, their burgers are very very good. I wasn't sure what I wanted to order, so I had a beer while I looked at the menu. And had a great conversation with another retired military member sitting next to me. As I was ready to order, my beer was empty and slid it forward with money, they were doing shift change. I waited, np. But then the new bartender was on duty and said hello to every patron( all men). And not to me. She didn't even notice my empty beer with money under it. This is honestly the best bar in Fallon. Awesome hours for warm and comforting butter. The Manager Jake Diley is a little on the strange side, Kept recommending chicken tiddies. Best burgers in town, definitely better then the Slanted Porch. That place is over priced and a total waste of time. A lot of Native American dancers really keep that place alive. Lots of wild people in there, and even more good times. Highly recommend to all looking for a solid time and some nights to remember. read more

Good is good, customer service is horrible. Waited 1hr and 20 minutes for food. Bartender was very rude and snappy. Never acknowledged my husband so he left without food. Went public with the complaint. Owners did not like that and asked In the comments that you contact them privately instead. People deserve to know where not to go to.
