We found Fajitas Gourmet completely by chance! We were coming home from a family trip to Utah, and I was on Yelp looking for somewhere to stop and eat along the way. Fajitas Gourmet popped up, and since my husband LOVES a good fajita, of course we had to stop! And I'm so glad we did! The place was PACKED when we got there, which is usually a pretty good sign. Everyone was eating, laughing and having a good time. It just had a really fun atmosphere. Our waitress was wonderful. She was so kind, sweet and attentive throughout our meal. They started us off with fresh chips and salsa, which were delicious. Of course, we had to try the Flaming Fajitas! And when they say flaming, they mean FLAMING. The presentation is such a neat experience. They bring them out and literally light them up into this huge ball of flames right at your table. Definitely check out my pictures and video because it was so cool to watch! And thankfully, they didn't just look good they tasted amazing too! My husband absolutely loved them and is already craving them again. We also tried the taquitos, and my daughter ordered a beef enchilada. Everyone loved their food. Everything we tried was flavorful and delicious. we also had the margaritas and those were really good too and actually had a nice little kick to them. What really stood out besides the food was the service. From our waitress to the bussers to the guys bringing out the food, everyone was attentive and kind. Just great service all the way around, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. This was one of those random road trip stops that ended up being a great find. My husband is already talking about going back, so apparently we're going to have to make a trip to Fallon one day just to eat here again. Trust the YELP reviews and make sure to stop here! Authentic Mexican Food in this Small town. Sometimes you don't know what you're gonna get in small towns but this was quality taste. Upon sitting down you are served w/ both red salsa & green tomatillo salsa paired w/ refried beans and chips. It's so delicious so make sure you save room for your platter because they keep it coming! Everyone in my group enjoyed their dishes and we were all stuffed only about a quarter way through our plates, but we pushed through eating at least half of our dishes (had a long work day). My specific dish was the Mole Enchiladas. It was good but I would have enjoyed more Mole sauce over the excess cheese. I could have just got the Mole and Chicken.. Having a group of 8, we had 2 servers attending to us regularly filling our drinks, chips, & salsa. We throughly enjoyed their atmosphere as they played different variations of Latin music. This place is insane! I am so happy that they had mole. I love when a Mexican restaurant has mole and it was really good. It was a Brown Mole too! Yummy the fajitas are to die for! Great meats and flavor. They come sizzling in a pan too, then they lit it on fire in front of us, which made it pretty fancy that's for sure. I would say the service was incredible. They were timely checked on us multiple times and the manager or the owner of the restaurant came over and asked us how our food was which made us aware that it was very important to him. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we've visited, and we've visited quite a few. First of all, the staff are very friendly and responsive. Second, they welcome you with chips and three kinds of dips, plus a little plate of fried onions and peppers. Third, the food is delicious! We recommend the Angela tacos, which can be customized to your preferred meat and which are finished nicely with guacamole, pico de gallo, queso fresca, and shredded cabbage. Also recommend the enchilladas calebecitas, whether you need a vegetarian option or are just looking for a meatless meal. Mine were filled with finely chopped and perfectly sauteed broccolli, zucchini, yellow squash, and carrots. They were covered with tasty tomatillo sauce and queso fresca. The restaurant ambiance is very casual and welcoming. It was busy when my co-worker and I went in for dinner and had more people coming in as we were leaving. The service and attentiveness of the staff was wonderful. I got fajitas for one with carnitas and chicken. I will say it was good, but could've used a little more seasoning as far as spice wise for my liking. Very disappointed and sad my family has been going here for years and have always been treated very nice well this time we went on Sunday August 9th just after noon and when we walked in no warm greeting there was a woman at the cash register saw us walk in and didn't say anything for 3 minutes just standing there after we go seated I actually had to ask for chips and salsa that's never happened before my wife asked is she could buy a plate of their cooked onions and they brought her out literally one bite in a plate they made us feel like they didn't want us in there they were just giving us a blank borderline rude stare from across the room.. when she came up to the table I could tell it was hard for her to ask us what we wanted.. then the short guy came out and asked every table but ours how the food was and can I get you anything we needed water and more chips but didn't get it.. he finally asked us at the end when we were leaving how it all was..TO LATE I don't understand why we were treated so poorly but after 15 years of frequenting this restaurant( and the business before too) we will not be back unfortunately and unfortunately for the server she lost out on a huge tip.. normally I drop $20-$30 on a tip because the service is so amazing but not this time on a better note the food is great hopefully you will get treated better than we did read more

We had the fajitas for two, steak and shrimp with added cheese and it was exceptional! It was served hot on a heated base. The server poured tequila on top and lit it for an unexpected twist. We stopped by here to pick up a few burritos on our road trip. They were delicious! Very big portions, and I loved that every meal comes with sopa de fideo.
