Woo bar was okay. We were a party of 7 and we all agreed that the food (brunch) wasn't bad but it also wasn't great. The owner (I think she was the owner but she could've been the manager) was lovely. And the server who also doubled as the bartender was very nice but he wasn't professional and didn't know the menu at all. He couldn't answer any questions we had about the food-- For example he didn't know what type of syrup came with the French toast that was very clearly not maple syrup and not listed on the menu. And when asked to describe oxtail to the table, he described it as beef. And slimy, which as someone who likes oxtail I decided not to get the oxtail Benedict after hearing it described that way just in case it wasn't prepared well. He also couldn't give any suggestions, which wasn't helpful at all and gave us mixed messages about whether or not he liked the food? One person in the group said they came for drinks and the drinks were amazing so maybe he's better as just a bar tender. Also the goat cheese salad is listed as vegan on the menu. Unless it has vegan goat cheese on it, removing the key ingredient from the salad is a pretty disappointing vegan option. read more

First off, the interior is super cute. When you walk in, you can see the southeast Asian inspired decor. Next, the food menu has a lot of my favorites: the garlic noodles (with tocino), their take on fried rice (rice & egg always hits the spot), Yukon gold bars (crispy outer layer with mashed potatoes inside - def comfort food!), garlic mussels, crispy rolls (lumpias are my fave). I also got to try the Silog from the brunch menu which is perfect for people who want a savory meal for brekkie. For those with a sweeter tooth, the lychee French toast and Ube pancakes are great choices from what I heard from friends who ordered those. The service has been consistently great each time I've dined there. Often times, the owner will personally host and seat us and make sure we're being taken care of. The servers are friendly and accommodating. Can't forget to mention the cocktails there. My absolute fave cocktail of all is the Woo Mule. I've never drank anything like it: sweet with heat !!!! The restaurant's interior was nice, but I came for one thing. The steak and eggs. When my plate arrived, the presentation was coo: steak and eggs. Went on a weekend trip to Seattle with my friends and stumbled across this gem late night. We were craving Filipino food and boy did this place deliver. Walking in, the ambiance was immediately welcoming with plenty of places to sit. With a large party, and an hour until closing, the staff had no problem serving us and our requests. I was able to meet the chef, Linda, and learn about her story, and boy did it stick. The food was excellent, the service was superb, and the hospitality was like a taste of home. Went here for a double date night on a Sunday evening and it wasn't very packed, probably because it's still relatively new. We were all pleasantly surprised by the food and service. The waitress provided us some recommendations and we tried all of them and it was amazing! Absolutely loved the garlic noodles and added on pork. We had this as an appetizer and shared along with the oxtail hummus. The Woo Burger was phenomenal with a nice kick with jalapeño and chimichurri, and the salmon came out perfectly seasoned. Good food, lots of space, kid friendly, and definitely try the Woo Mule! We went here on a weekday night with our girls (4.5 and 10 months) and met some friends to try lots of plates with. Food was very flavorful and delicious - you wouldn't even know it was a soft opening with how yummy the food was! Things we had: 1. Woo Mule - is very so tasty and dangerous. I could barely taste the alcohol and would probably ask for more if I didn't worry about the cost! 2. Kraken Calamansi Ceviche - it was okay, I guess it was the most forgettable of everything since we had so many different things to try 3. Philippines sliders - I was actually too full to try a lot of this but it has good flavors and would be perfect to share with 4. Baked mussels - I normally don't order mussels but the table ordered it and I thought it was good but I probably would try something else next time 5. Grilled bok choy - got the veggies in with this and it was a nice different way to have bok choy instead of the normal stir fry or steamed 6. Signature wings with tamarind glaze - so good! My 4.5 year old ate two by herself! 7. Grilled steak with watercress - loved the chimichurri sauce on it! I would probably ask for more sauce next time! 8. Garlic noodles - I've never had garlic noodles that tasted like this and I liked it! I think they use maggi in it but I could be wrong. 9. Bagoong fried rice - it was really good especially since it was late in the day and the food came a little later than we thought. My 4.5 year old ate lots of this too. 10. Yuzu Salmon - I really liked the sauce and it paired really well with the mashed potatoes Overall really good. The service was slow but that's normal for a soft opening! Fast-forward a month, I needed a spot to celebrate my partner's birthday that would accept a reservation of 14. I immediately thought of Woo Bar having been there only a few weeks prior and sent them an email asking if it was something they could accommodate. I received an email shortly after from their general manager, Andy, confirming they could accommodate my reservation request. Not only that, but he also allowed me to bring a birthday cake earlier in the day to bring out after we all ate as a surprise. My group ordered the garlic noodles, chicken and rice, signature wings, shrimp fried rice, as well as the Woo burger. The dinner menu did not disappoint and was just as good as their brunch! I highly recommend the Ly To Me cocktail as well. We were offered their late night menu (limited) but their full menu looks like an incredibly interesting fusion of flavors. Our party shared the wings - ordered these plain with the sauces on the side (tamarind glaze/butter garlic/BBQ/buffalo/mango habanero.) The oxtail hummus was packed with flavor. They have an ube espresso martini that I should have tried, but the bar was already closing down. Even with it being closing time, service was exceptional.
