It's so wonderful to come across genuine people who are funny and kind in this world. Our server and the owner were so fun and so funny and so nice. It truly felt like visiting a friends restaurant. The vibes are homey, almost feels like a library but not quite, very cozy very comfy. Food: Tomato Mozarella, this was my two fav things in one. Tomato and burrata/mozarella, and prosciutto and melon. Delicious. 10/10. Prawns: so good, so flavorful, and I typically am not a shrimp/prawn girl. Skirt Steak: this was such a juicy and moist (sorry) steak. I don't like chimmichurri (cannot spell that omg) but it was good! The fries were also a winner. Moroccan Hen: this felt like a cookout bbq to be honest but in the best way. It's super flavorful, very smoky, and SO juicy. Drinks: watermelon marg, orange espresso cocktail, and I cannot remember the blue drinks name but all delicious. I fear this is my fav espresso martini to date. Dessserts: the Poe's nest and the Ruby & Emerald. Delicious. No notes.

Everyone on staff was kind and helpful with setting up pool chairs and taking drink orders. The pool itself was refreshing with a gorgeous view. Sunscreen was provided along with a water station. The carrot ginger crush was delicious and tasted more like a healthy juice than a cocktail! The food was pretty good but nothing special for the price, imo. I wish there were more gluten free options to choose from. I loved the shrimp cocktail and the house-made cocktail sauce it came with. So yummy! The chips with the guac were great and the fries were a large portion. They've become more strict about letting non-guests enjoy the pool so it wasn't too crowded and was a fairly quiet environment, with the exception of some kiddos.

A great potential date spot. When you actually reach the pool, you have a stunning view of the water. The drinks were delicious and strong, and the oysters were great! 4 stars because if you want to use the pool when not a hotel guest, it's $150. I think that's a bit high! However, if you just want to drink by the bar, it's free. Still super worth it for that, but sad you can't use the pool.

One of my favorite things about this place is the fact that they let us choose where we want to sit and the window seat is always open! Another fav is their mimosas. I actually found Union Hill while planning my friend's 40th birthday dinner from another state, and from the moment I reached out, everything just flowed. I inquired about hosting a dinner and one of the owners, Matt, got back to me within a day. From there, the planning felt effortless. He answered all my questions, stayed in communication, and really helped bring the whole vision together. We had close to 30 people for the dinner in one of their private dining areas, and when I say the staff was impeccable... they were ON IT. My friend had no idea where she was going, so this was a full surprise. Once we gave the staff the green light, they were ready and immediately started accommodating everyone. Everything just flowed from there. We did family-style appetizers, which I loved because everyone got to try a little bit of everything. Everything was flavorful and came out at the perfect pace. For my entrée, I had the salmon and it was so good. And listen... I hosted the whole thing, ate there that night, AND still had leftovers to take home. That's always a win. They were also super accommodating leading up to the event. I was able to drop off the cake and cake pops the evening before, and I was even able to decorate the private dining area, which made everything feel really personal. What could have easily been a stressful experience ended up feeling seamless. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful. The private dining area worked perfectly for our group, and they even have an upstairs outdoor area as well as a downstairs outdoor space, which I didn't get to experience this time but definitely want to the next time I go back. I'm so grateful I came across Union Hill Kitchen & Craft Bar. It made such a special occasion even better.

Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced... this is the kind of drink that reminds me why I started my little espresso martini passport in the first place. It was giving luxury, it was giving intention, it was giving I need another one immediately. For food, I started with the crudo, which was super fresh and beautifully done -- light, bright, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Then I had the scallops, and this is where they really won me over. Perfectly cooked, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth... just one of those dishes you don't want to end. The whole experience felt elevated without being stuffy -- gorgeous waterfront vibes, amazing service, and food and drinks that actually deliver. Definitely one of my favorite spots so far in Baltimore, and 100% somewhere I'll be bringing people when I want to impress.

The whiskey selection is impressive--this was actually my first time trying Pappy Van Winkle 15 Year, and it was incredibly smooth. If you're a whiskey drinker, you'll appreciate how extensive the selection is here. The bar menu is also surprisingly strong. I highly recommend the burger, and the crab cake is made with real lump meat--not imitation!!! The bartender was very knowledgeable and offered great recommendations throughout the night. Weekends can get pretty busy, but it's still a great spot for drinks and small bites.

This place has many pros and some cons. Pros: -Pool was amazing. The hot tub was at a perfect temp. -Music selection was great. -They validate parking for up to two hours. Cons: -Service wasn't the best. The server taking poolside orders kept passing me. Even when she said she'll be back, she never came back. I ended up ordering at the bar. -My drink was very weak. I ordered an orange crush and feel like I paid $12 for orange juice and sprite mix. -Not sure if there was too much chlorine in the water but it severely faded my swimsuit. I'm hoping it was just a bad night because I really want to give them another try next summer for the Monday swim service.

From the moment you step onto the deck bar, you're instantly transported into lush palms, open air, and sweeping views of the marina. It feels more like a coastal retreat than a city restaurant. I went for a DJ set, and basically stood the whole night. But, when you're right over the water, it does not matter. The sunset reflected off the slips, and the gentle lapping of the waves made for a calming background. Cocktails are meticulously crafted, fruity, refreshing, and just the right balance. The menu leans seafood-forward (of course), and everything we tried was well executed. The french fries were the best paired with drinking. Service was warm and friendly, with staff who seemed genuinely invested in making the evening special. All told, Raw & Refined is perfect for a laid-back date night, a celebration by the water, or just a gorgeous place to unwind with good food and drink. Highly recommend checking it out (especially at golden hour).
