You should try the Bonito Brussels Sprouts too, he said. Brussel Sprouts?! I crinkled my nose. But the description of the asian seasonings mixed with the brussel sprouts sounded so good that I tacked that onto my order. And, boy did I luck out! Those brussel sprouts did a dance on my tongue like he said they would. And the brisket was delicious! Pad thai noodles were subtle and complemented the brisket very well while still containing the essential flavors of pad thai! This place is awesome sauce! And the people are super nice! I finally got to eat something from this truck. Previously I couldn't find them. I ordered the brisket noodle dish. It was served HOT right out of the wok and into a nice paper container. I'd say it was like someone handing you hot coffee in a paper cup. OUCH! The noodles were a tad oily probably from too much oil in the wok. Just a bit. The brisket was nice, soft, not chewy, had some flavor. I didn't taste any marinade or seasoning on the meat. This is Texas, beef country, ... I think the dish would be awesome it there was a bit of smoke ring on the meat and a nice glaze or bark on the meat. The staff is nice but not really affable. I keep asking him about his location in the Heights a few weeks ago but the wok dude just kept saying "I dunno....what's the Heights?.." "..ya know, you parked on this street" "Nope. Don't remember that..." "...you guys were inside the Bar parking lot for like weeks" "Oh, ya.. Naaaa, we don't park there anymore..." At this point I felt like sergeant Carter talking to Gomer Pyle. I used to work a food truck and we saw the Wokker guys often so I can honestly say I have NEVER tried anything from their truck that wasn't SPOT ON great food and absolute quality! I walked up expecting a bunch of cowboys with hats on, but instead I was greeted by a Mexican with dreads and 2 asians cooking the food. Odd? Perhaps. Did it matter? I love their super original menu. My favorite Asian dishes with Texas briskets?? SOLD!! The brisket Pad Thai was not what I expected, it was BETTER than I ever imagined. I don't know how they did it, but the noodles were infused with the TX brisket smokey flavor instead of the typical Pad Thai sweet and sour taste. It was MAGICAL. Noodles were perfectly cooked and stir fried, not too wet or dry. I just wish the portion could be bigger. The brussel sprouts were a bit too greasy for me, but I like that they added raisins which provides a different texture, and it added that sweet and tart taste to the dish. I probably won't order it again, but it's by all means legit. The mustard wings were juicy, tender, rich and tasty. Probably not as unique as the other Asian fusion items, but it hits the spot for my wings craving. Service was fun, friendly and reasonably prompt for a truck. To be honest I was a little skeptical at first when I heard it was a "Texan-Asian" food truck... But WOW, their food was AMAZING!! My outlook of BBQ-like foods has totally been changed (I'm not usually a fan of BBQ... but today I was). Went with a group of friends to check out Wokker at the Texas Lone Star Beer Food Festival. There was 6 of us so we ordered one of everything lol: the brisket eggrolls, brisket curly fries, shaken beef, bonito brussels sprouts, brisket pad Thai, spicy tamarind ribs, and pork belly fried rice. I really wished I was a cow and had like an extra stomach or something so I could keep eating everything... Everything was SO GOOD!!!! I HIGHLY recommend the pork belly fried rice though. It was deeliciousss. The pork belly they used was so tender and it was marinated just right. There was so much flavor packed in it. I actually woke up this morning craving more! And the rice they used wasn't the regular jasmine rice, it was the thicker, fatter, stickier/chewier rice that they tend to use at kbbq restaurants. I. Love. That. Rice. It's so yummy. And it was drenched with the sauce from the pork belly. I could eat it by itself. The tamarind ribs and pad Thai were my second favorites. The pad thai noodles were actually a little too wet/saucy imo compared to pad Thai at regular Thai restaurants.... But I still liked it bc the flavor was awesome, and they included a lime for you to add extra sourness if you needed it. There were peanuts too, I think I shall ask for extra peanuts next time. And the tamarind ribs... Get it. Just get it. There's a LOT of meat to this food truck, so also try the brussel sprouts for your fill of veggies. I used to not like brussel sprouts bc they're kind of bitter. But the way they grilled the sprouts here or whatever the heck they do to it was magical. It was lightly salted and I really liked the crispy texture! The shaken beef also comes with veggies too if you're in need of veggies. It has the most juiciest tomato chunks and the onions came as normal sweet yellow pieces as well as tangy pickled purple strips. Truck is kind of hard to find since they move locations and don't have a set address on Yelp, but if you ever finally hear about the location of this place, definitely go check it out! This truck was sitting on Post Oak Blvd near 610, which is right across the street from my office building. I wanted the pork belly fried rice without the pork belly since I'm a Pescatarian. Not sure why everyone is obsessed with pork belly but it's not that great and is very fatty. Katsu was very good and crunchy but needed more sauce. Came to check out their new collaboration with Craft Beer Cellar. But I won't be back to this location, the food truck is a way better experience. To sum it up, they probably aren't used to serving food at this brew house and it shows. Came here on a Friday afternoon with some co-workers and none of us had a good experience. The place was pretty dead but no one greeted us as we walked in. We weren't sure if we were supposed to order at a counter, or if we'd get table service, or what, so we asked the server behind the bar and she seemed irritated by our question. There were some guys sitting around the bar so maybe she preferred flirting with them to waiting on us 3 ladies. So we sat down and she brought one menu for all 3 of us and walked away without offering to get us started with drinks. Since she was obviously put out by our presence and the Wokker offerings are minimal anyway, the 3 of us shared the one menu. A really nice guy took our order and brought our drinks but we unfortunately never saw him again. We kept having to ask for basic stuff you automatically get in a regular restaurant, like water. When one of us ordered iced tea and asked for sweetener, we were told they didn't have sweetener so we instead got a tiny bit of sugar doled out in a plastic condiment cup, but nothing to stir with, not even a straw, so we had to ask for a spoon also. Obviously, this request was way out of the ordinary for them so if she hadn't brought enough, there was no way we were asking for more. After sitting there for at least 20 minutes, we asked our server if our food would be ready soon, so she finally walked to the back and came right back with it. So it had obviously been ready and waiting but she didn't bother to actually bring it to the table until we asked, and by then everything was lukewarm. But when she came out of the kitchen, her tray had only 2 of our 3 items, plus 2 items for *another table*. So she delivered 2 of our lunches, then went to the other table to deliver theirs, while all 3 of us waited to eat until the 3rd order was brought out. She brought that next but didn't bring silverware until we asked. At least she brought napkins unprompted with the (plastic!) utensils. I don't think we missed it, but no salt/pepper (or any other condiments) on the tables or anywhere in sight. Heaven forbid if one of us wanted it extra spicy because Sriracha probably would've been impossible - even though they're serving Asian food. Of course, no one checked back on us after our dishes were finally delivered. Thank goodness the food was fine and we didn't need any To Go containers. The food was similar to what you get at the truck, except lukewarm, but definitely not good enough to make up for their complete lack of common sense and feeling like we were imposing on them the whole time. If your establishment is going to serve food, you shouldn't have to remind your server of ridiculously basic things like to bring the food out when it's ready; that you don't want to stir in sugar with your finger; or eat with your hands. Next time I'll just go to the food truck. Way faster, easier, more pleasant, and we won't feel expected to tip for shoddy, surly service. Wokker Texas Ranger, this is not a good collaboration for you. And I'll never, ever go here for drinks either. Way too many other options, and close by, to put up with attitudes like this. read more

Their Pork Belly Fried Rice is a MUST try. Ya girl loves herself some pork belly and the way Wokker TX Ranger serves their pork belly honestly takes me to heaven. For the portion they provide, the $9 is well worth it. The pork belly has the perfect amount of fat and meat to complement the kim chi fried rice and fried egg. The egg is not fully cooked, so you can see the yolk gush out as you eat. Overall, the whole dish is satisfying and keeps you wanting more. The service is great! Nothing gets better than a guy with dreadlocks taking your order and a friendly staff who goes out of their way to assure you're having a great time at their food truck. I had the opportunity to try this food truck this past weekend and I was very pleased. I got the brisket pad Thai and it was definitely everything I expected and more. The quantity was large and definitely filling. The flavor was bold and the choice of meat was interesting in a good way. Im use to having shall bits of chicken on my pad Thai, but this was heaped with squares of well seasoned brisket. The only reason I gave it 4/5 is because I would have preferred the brisket to have been more well done. I thought it was a little gooey for my palette. Parking was limited so I had to park in the adjacent neighborhood and walk over. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the fried rice and ribs - but felt that the brisket egg rolls lacked a bit in flavor. The fried rice came with a generous helping of pork belly and gave you the option of adding a fried egg on top. I had to try the pork belly fried rice after all the pictures and comments on here. The rice itself has great wok-fried flavor, and a nice salty/spicy/sour taste from the kimchi mixed in with it. And of course a gooey egg mixed in with the rice and kimchi is always a good combination. They also give a pretty generous portion of pork belly to go with the rice.
