Very good, filling bowl. It was $25, but I felt like it was worth it. You order from an iPad and then get a buzzer. Food was ready pretty fast. Dumplings were okay, but the bowl itself was excellent. Looking forward to coming back.

We visited Finn Hall with friends and family on one of the colder nights of Houston. It had been a minute since we've visited the hall, which has a few new spots inside. One that caught our eye was Firenoodz. Food - 5* We all ordered the Thai curry and some Fried cheesy balls, which were a twist on fried mac and cheese balls with rice inside. Some of the folks in our party weren't a huge fan of them, but others loved them. Everyone was happy with the Thai curry choice, which really hit the spot on a cold night. Service - 5* The gentlemen running the show this night was very friendly, made recommendations based on what we were looking for, and overall was quite informative. The food was ready quite quick, but it wasn't super crowded either so that may have helped with the queue time. Cost - 5* The bowl was about what you'd expect to pay, maybe a little high, but given it's in a hall, the prices are always a bit higher at these setups. Overall - 5* Everyone agreed they would definitely come back and try a few other bowls!

If you're in Houston and haven't tried FireNoodz yet--you're seriously missing out! I'm obsessed with their creamy gochujang noodles--rich, spicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. And don't even get me started on the cheesy fire balls... crunchy on the outside, melty and delicious inside--actual perfection. I tried their Thai curry for the first time yesterday, and WOW. Phenomenal flavor. It had the perfect balance of heat and creaminess with bold Thai spices that linger (in the best way). Every dish I've had here feels like a flavor explosion

The noodles are so soggy and mushy and the meat was burnt. Flavor was good but noodles are so overcooked they just turn to mush when you try to pick them up. Was really excited to try this place, def wouldn't order again :(

This was actually the meal I got after I already ate at another place within The Finn. I went, decided to get Korean food (fine but this place blew it out of the water), then decided I had room and HAD to try this place. I got the spicy soy sauce noodles without the Thai chills, which ended up being just the perfect amount of spice. I don't eat eggs, PERIOD. I haven't even ordered fried rice in the 30+ years I've been alive (not allergic, just hate everything about them). I tasted them as soon as I started eating but it was literally so so good I couldn't stop. I broke my lifetime egg strike for this dish, and it was so worth it. The balance of spicy, the noodles were the perfect texture, tofu well marinated, green onions interspersed for moments of freshness??? Art. My only regret was that I tapped out before I could try anything else and that I'm not a local so I can't come back as often as I need to!

Had the Thai chicken curry. Spicy and terrific. Loved the crunch fresh red onions with it.

Food was amazing! I got the spicy noodle and it has a balanced flavor without it being too spicy.

Spicy soy, so salty couldn't finish. Noddles were hard. Not good. Took like 5 bites. Overpriced overrated.

Free 2 hour parking in the Lyric Garage is amazing for its location, you only need to scan the QR code on your purchase receipt on your way out. I sure wish that many other Downtown area food halls offer free parking. The open seating makes it easy for small groups to grab food and drink from various vendors and dine together. There are a variety of events throughout the week that are enticing, including $8 marg Sundays and Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays, half off wine Wednesdays, live Latin guitarist Thursdays, live jazz Fridays, and reverse happy hour on Saturdays. The best part of POST Houston for me is the history behind the building. Knowing the history of the…read morespace adds a lot more character and appreciation to the experience than simply looking at it as another food hall or entertainment venue. The building itself has a large, open industrial style interior with plenty of natural light, which gives the space a distinctive feel. There is a lot of room to walk around and explore and since it wasn't particularly busy during our visit, we were able to take our time looking through everything without feeling rushed. There weren't any events happening while we were there, so the overall atmosphere was fairly quiet. I could see the appeal of coming back when there is an event happening, as I imagine the space has a much livelier energy when it's being used for its full range of activities. We primarily went to check out the POST Market, which has a food court style setup with different cuisines and food options. (I'll be reviewing each of the places we tried separately.) The selection was varied, although I wouldn't describe it as particularly extensive. Unfortunately, the food experiences we had were consistently overpriced and underwhelming, which made the overall trip feel fairly uneventful. This was probably one of the more disappointing aspects of the visit. Considering the market wasn't particularly busy when we went, I was surprised by how many tables were sticky or visibly dirty. The washrooms were also in fairly rough shape and could have used more attention. The condition of the common areas was noticeably below what I would have expected from a venue of this size. Parking was convenient and free for the first hour, with charges of $6 applying after that. Overall, POST Houston was a pretty average experience for me. The history and character of the building, along with its open industrial design and natural light, are what stood out most positively. Based on our experience, I wouldn't make a trip back specifically for the POST Market. That said, I'd be interested in coming back for an event to see how different the atmosphere is when the space is busier and there is more happening. Hopefully, more businesses continue to move into the space as well, giving people more options for shopping and dining and creating a livelier overall experience.
