Richard is an artisan's dream behind the bar and should be cherished.he is one of the best bartenders who i have had the pleasure to be served by. Great charisma and knowledge to boot! read more

Great underrated speakeasy bar downtown on Mass Ave! This is attached to Goodfella's in the back, no signs so you could easily miss it. If you enjoy unique cocktails, whiskey, and bourbon, this is the place for you. It's a small venue, but it has the leather couches and bar seating with B&W shows on small TV's. It's really the speakeasy bar feel that is hard to get in Indy. If you're looking for a classy place to drink without the cigars, this is it! I can't emphasize how many drink options they have! Also, you are able to bring your pizza into the bar! read more

I really love this place. I love the vibes, I love the selection, I love the proximity to pizza. They make a mean whisky sour that's for sure and their take on a White Russian is also worth mentioning. Unfortunately, the service could be a little better. I know they are busy but we received some sass (that's putting it lightly) for asking twice for a bill. I do understand that customers can be needy and hard to deal with when you're serving a lot of people but the bartender who was serving that night was very rude. I'm hoping it was an isolated incident and miscommunication but it's so important to treat customers well, even if they might be difficult and especially when you serve high-end beverages. Girlfriend made great drinks though so shoutout to that. read more

Speakeasy connected to Goodfellas pizza. The cocktails were very well made and bartenders were super friendly and willing to make creative drinks off the menu. read more

I really like this place. I have been here twice now. It is in the back of Goodfella's Pizzeria and has quite the selection of Whiskeys. They have other liquor as well but the whisky collection is great. They also have quite a few craft brews on tap. The Atmosphere is inviting, almost like a 20's speakeasy with brown furniture and bronze accents. I like the dark feeling as well when you come in, even if it is still daylight outside. The contrast between the front (pizzeria) and the back (the bar) is dramatic! read more

Bartender Noel has the best service. Jaded cocktail he made was a 10/10. Best place for drinks in the city!

Honestly the WORST bar service I've EVER experienced! I love the decor and the drinks but the bartenders are rude, condescending and truly ruined our evening. I honestly came back three times hoping there would be better service to no success. I would NEVER recommend coming here. Maybe their pizza is good but their bar service is honestly the worst I've ever experienced. HOWEVER the bar back was a delightful woman and I appreciated the music. read more

Great atmosphere to sit and have a good conversation over some REALLY GOOD bourbons and whiskeys. A hidden gem on Mass.

First time attending with my friend whom loves Bourbon and this place did not disappoint. The bartenders were skilled in there craft, was friendly, and just a great place. Highly recommend. read more

The Wiseguy Lounge is one of those places you know isn't really a secret, but it's just secret enough that it's exciting to stumble upon. With no signage marking its presence outside of Goodfellas, you nonetheless catch a straightforward glimpse of it from the patio, walk into it easily on the way to the restroom. And yet once inside, you feel tucked away enough to get as close to a speakeasy as most places can muster close to prohibition. You'll find within an excellent bourbon selection -- one of the best on Mass Ave without breaking the bank for it. The cocktails are solid fare, and it's a welcome changeup on an avenue with some really fantastic competition in that department. I don't imagine myself frequenting Goodfellas a lot, but the Wiseguy Lounge is definitely something that will pull me back for a neat sip every now and then. read more

Since I arrived here, I tried to find the bar that similar to bar in nyc. Finally, I saw you. It's great speakeasies bar and cocktails are awesome. Service is great. Bartenders are professionals. It's appropriate with person who like bourbon as well. read more

Started with the peaut butter tequila and rhubarb beer (i.e. jelly) shots. Tasted like one of those peanut butters you get at a Whole Foods or co-op- creamy, but not too peanut-y or sweet. He had a Dr. Peel-Good, the habanero was barely noticeable, with the smoked chili bitters being the bulk of the aftertaste. The coconut and cocoa nibs dominated the smell, like a spicy hot chcocoate, sans creme. I had the tequila mockingbird. Smooth, breezy texture and smell that I couldn't attribute to any of the three liqueurs. The habanero lingered on my lips and you could barely notice the citrus (lime and orange juice) as a standalone. Aces. read more

Cute place directly behind Godfellas. Brought my massive slice pizza to eat with a cold one. The place was empty at the time. The bartender was great. Gave me a good recommendation on the beer. Nice place to be in a cute little area of Indianapolis. Wish I had more time to try the other beers on tap. read more

Speakeasy is tucked away behind goodfellas by the bathrooms. The drink menu has good variety and fair pricing. Place is loungy and chill until it gets to closing time. The pacific daydream is good but wasn't a big fan of the bitters read more

A cool atmosphere attached to goodfellas pizza and fun to hang out with friends. Some good mixed drinks to have but the only reason that I have given it a three star is due to the inflated cost of the 1 and 2 oz pours of their liquors especially on their higher end liquors like the bourbon. Some of their pours are almost as much as the retail cost of the bottle. read more

We stopped I tonight for our first time. I have to say we will be back and we will be bringing all out friends. This is a chill relaxed speakeasy feel kinda place. The drinks are amazing. The bartender is amazing . Also Goodfellas pizza is amazing. read more

This bar is a hidden gem in the back of Good Fellas. Great selection of whiskeys and cocktails, as well as beer. There are several couches for groups to mingle, and you can also order food. This was the perfect place for our chill ladies night. I tried two drams of whiskey and the pizza, and loved everything. Definitely recommend this as a stop if you are looking for something low key and classy. read more

Great atmosphere- throwback to what you might image the 30's would have been like- minus Dillinger of course. Worth a visit for sure. read more

I love finding bars that are hidden away and on the quieter side. I was very excited to find one in our very own city tucked behind a pizza joint! This quaint bar includes speakeasy décor and great drinks (at great prices I might add)! They had a great bourbon selection if that's your jam. It was a bit noisy between the crowd of people and the music but I really enjoyed myself hanging out on the couch. We even enjoyed some great pizza afterward! How are you supposed to resist ordering food when that's all you can smell? Well played, Goodfellas! read more

Average experience here. It's supposed to be a secret entrance prohibition type bar, and while the entrance is through the back of the adjoining pizza place, it's wide open and super obvious. I did love the furniture. It's very nice leather, mid century modern looking stuff. A little tight to get into some of the seats, but overall fine. The cocktails were pretty disappointing. They do tell you if you have a favorite spirit you can just tell them and they'll whip something up based off that, but the drink off the menu I had did not compare to other cocktail lounges I've frequented, be they in big cities like NYC or Chicago, or smaller places like Buffalo and Columbus. Heck, even Ball and Biscuit down the street does'em better. But it wasn't a bad experience. Just average, hence the 3 stars. It was newer when I visited so maybe things will get better with time. read more

Wiseguys is the first place I think of when someone asks for a classy cocktail bar. The barstaff is very knowledgeable and can help you make an informed decision based on your tastes. Everyone is friendly and professional, especially Richard. The guy is like a cocktail savant and very personable it also helps that he's devilishly handsome and probably hung like a stud horse. After being a recovering alcoholic for 14 years the only reason I started drinking again was thanks to Wiseguys and great bartender's like Richard, 6/5 stars! read more

I typically love this bar but have to write an unfortunate one due to the bad experiences I've had every weekend I've come here. During the weeknights it's impeccable service but on the three Saturday's I've come, the bartender is incredibly rude and refuses to make drinks that my group has had at the establishment any weeknight we are here. His sarcasm is never a pleasing customer experience. read more

Great atmosphere, great drinks. Music is a bit loud but music selections are really good.

Wonderful, sexy atmosphere. Hidden gem! Wish we had found it sooner. Hot Buttered Rum, martinis, bourbon selection and food are all top notch. Our bartender was Richard and he was absolutely fabulous. Can't wait to come back next time we're town. read more

This place is different......I LOVED the ambiance! It took us a bit to actually find, It's hidden behind a pizza restaurant. We thought they meant "in the alley behind the restaurant" lol. So after getting directions from the locals, we made it!! The place remind you of a fancy "speak easy". The lighting and Huge Built in shelving really work great together. They really have a large selection. Our bartender concocted two drinks for both my wife and I. One was a Boss-Manhattan, the other was called a "Colonel Taft" Not bad, Strong. The only complaint I have is in the setup of the bar. There are chairs at the bar and lounge style sofas against the wall. If you sit at the bar the bartender will serve you but if you sit at couches, you have to go to the bar to be served. This leads to a bit of frustration, especially if you want to be "served". Maybe I'm spoiled, but, if I choose to spend $80 on a high priced drink (which I often do) I don't want to have to search for service.....just saying. read more

This bar is actually part of Goodfellas Pizzeria but is completely separated and it is not obvious that it is there. I had a glass of wine ($9) and my buddy had a beer ($9). They have several craft beers available. I like the ambiance. One would not know it had anything to do with the pizzeria. It's like a hideaway gem with a real comfy bar feel. The bartender was friendly and professional. You can order food from the pizzeria. Worth a try. read more

Hidden gem bourbon bar with craft cocktails. Looks just like a legit speakeasy bar you would find in Louisville on the bourbon trail. Comfy couches and low lighting is a very cozy and intimate setting. Bartenders very nice. I tried a blue martini made with pixie sticks. Actually I had two. Lol super good. It is in the back part of goodfellas pizza which serves New York style pizza. Huge slices of pizza with yummy toppings similar to a Bazbeaux type of pizza. Around the corner in the back is the lounge. You can actually sit in the bar/lounge and order pizza from the front and eat it in the lounge. This is by far the coolest little spot so far I have found on Mass and I have been to several establishments. The exposed brick is kind of like Ball and Biscuit but this place is very small and relaxed. Recommend read more

Great drinks. You can also order a slice of pizza to help you sober up. The drinks creep up on you!

We've stopped here occasionally over the last couple of years. Great beer and bourbon selection. Very high marks for the bartenders here also. Some have left but Audrey and Keith are always welcoming and engage in conversation when we come back in. Nice neighborhood haunt. read more

Great Atmosphere! Unique and fun place hang out with friends. First come, first serve seating.

Great bar - Mark the bar manager is the best! Can take or leave Goodfellas Pizza (in the front), but the bar is one of the best on Mass Ave if you're looking for 200+ whiskey, etc., and not a crazy crowd. read more
