Looking for a unique spot to sip in Indianapolis? Make sure to stop by Four Fingers Distillery! Once called 1205, this distillery was renamed to Four Fingers after the owner accidentally cut off one of his fingers while installing a new front door! You can expect to enjoy great beverages in a homey and inviting distillery. This spot also has a glass wall so you can see the distilling process occur in house. There are a couple Four Fingers locations in Indiana that you should add to your Indiana bucket list!

Four Finger was a great place to stop by while we were waiting for our table to be ready at a restaurant down the street. Their cocktails are so intricate and well thought out! It has a very speakeasy kind of vibe too. It's very dark and moody. If you're looking for a place to get unique cocktails this is absolutely the place. It looked like they also had pizza available too. We were going to dinner so we didn't order it but I always love being able to get food when I'm drinking! I'd go back here in the future.

We came here for the Annual Tiki Party and it was a blast!! They had a special Tiki drinks menu that was so dang delicious and then we ordered pizza from the Greek's attached to the bar. Was NOT disappointed about anything. They had two guys playing steel drums and they were so good to sit and listen to all night!

During the winter break, we initially wanted to drive out to Kentucky for a bourbon tasting trip but figured we just spend more time Indy. Four finger distillery satisfied my itch to taste different types of bourbons without having to drive 6 hours back n forth from Indy. Of course you can't compare the heavy hitters in the bourbon industry to a mom & pop distillery but 4 fingers got the job done for me (esp for quarter of a price). I tried the peated bourbon, straight bourbon, wheat whiskey, old fashioned & a cold brew liqueur for good measure. All of them were great but I ordered another round with lavender absinthe and that turned out to a surprise hit. If you're ever in town, try their bourbon, their absinthe, their cocktails heck try their gin. Play a little exploding kittens, have a great time.

Met a friend for drinks here on Thursday night and was super impressed! We found a high top to crash at and scanned a QR code on the table for the menu. Everything was was Halloween themed for the season. The drinks were AWESOME. Highly recommend Black Magic if you like bourbon. Sorcery was also very good. While we didn't eat, 1205 is connected to a Greek's Pizza, so you can order food if you want and they'll bring it out to you. The ambiance is great. They played excellent music and it smelled 100% like a distillery (similar to West Fork Whiskey). The staff were friendly as well. We'll definitely be back.

I came here to watch a college football game and try their fall cocktails before the rotate them off the menu. The cocktails were all great. Very unique flavors. Nothing was anything that you could easily make at home, so it's very worth it to come in. The "crimson which was particularly good." It was a bourbon cocktail with cab sav wine. A VERY good and unique combo of flavors. Tangy, sweet, and with that bourbon "bite." It's a very cozy atmosphere to watch a game. There plenty of room. Also you can get pizza and appetizers from Greek's Pizza, which is in the same building. This place has parking nearby, is between two IndyGo Redline stops (Fletcher Place and Fountain Square), and it's right off the cultural bike trail. Finally it's in a very walkable area. Definitely a great place to try. Lots of unique cocktails. Good spirits that they make in house. Great food onsite. And it's a BIT cheaper than other cocktails in the area. A MUST try in Indy.

Great little distillery on the east side of Indy. Check pictures for there products .

We did a flight for $9 which is a great price for high spirits. Staff was really great . Love the atmosphere here. Their products are very good . Yes I recommend you stop in for a flight or a cocktail. Street parking. Stop in and see Angie! She is cool and turned us on to their coffee liqueur. No joke... it's good!

Such a fun and quirky spot! I came here on a Tuesday night with a friend and we walked in on trivia night! I loved the ambiance inside but I will say it was a bit confusing at first to figure out where we needed to order our food. Service was good but I will say I was a bit disappointed with the food. I ordered a small pizza (8 small slices) and added my own toppings and my total came out to about $24. A bit pricey and I will say the pizza was good but they had forgotten to add the mushrooms I had requested. However, the trivia itself was fun and the drinks looked really good so I definitely will be back!

1205 is one of my favorite distilleries! It's small, and you feel almost like you're in someone's small home or garage. It's super casual, relaxed and the bartenders are easygoing. There's about three tables at the front and a small sofa in the back. The rest is standing room. We (most recently) came by on a Thursday night and they had a really great-sounding $4 cocktail that had whiskey, vanilla and bitters. I went for the Giggle Water and it was SO good. Honestly any cocktail they make here is always great, so you barely have to choose. Trust the bartenders to whip up one of their classics. The cups are fun, as they have rounded bottoms and roll around on the table without your drink spilling. They also sell bottles of their liquors. There's a lot of good food in the area, such as Repeal (mid-priced) next door, Bluebeard (nice, pricier choice) across the street, and Tortas Guicho Dominguez (low cost, sandwiches) across the street as well. This place is definitely an Indy staple!

1205 distillery has such a dope vibe about it. When you walk in you can sit at some tables or now at the bar, yay. They also have a nice lounge area with couches and chairs, super fancy. There is no servers so you go to the bar and order but they'll definitely bring you what you ordered. The bartenders are really helpful and attentive. I would recommend trying their $8 flight that way you can taste 5 of their in house liquors. I've tried them all at this point and let's just say I'm a whiskey/bourbon kind of girl but their rhubarb is pretty tasty. If you would like some food Greeks pizzeria is connected so you order at the bar and they'll bring it over for you. My brother got the Buffalo wings he said the sauce is really good. I've had the veggie pizza (yum) and a salad (eh). There's free parking on the side street. One of my new favorite fountain square spots

How have I not reviewed this Fletcher Place neighborhood gem? I've been a fan and supporter from Day One - - it certainly didn't hurt that 12.05 Distillery and Repeal Restaurant were located in my backyard... There's a certain coziness and laid back vibe about 12.05 Distillery that reminds me of my hometown - - and moonshine by the bonfire. Brad and Nolan are probably the biggest reason I feel this way. Early on they felt like longtime friends and 12.05 felt like an extension of their home. Their warm customer service pours throughout the entire experience from tastings and tours to cocktails and storytelling. In terms of cocktails, you'll find a mix of in-house creations and classics available. The menu changes from time to time so you can count on trying something new with each visit. Or, if you're feeling crazy, they can make something new up on the spot. If your new to the product, I highly recommend experiencing the flight tasting and don't miss the rhubarb liqueur when you're making the spirit selections (it's super delicious). Cherry on top for visiting 12.05 Distillery? It's within a stone's throw of so many other great Fletcher Place businesses like Bluebeard, Nicey Popsicles, the Cultural Trail and Bluebeard. I could go on and on. Happy drinking by the imaginary bonfire.

Very cool, hole in the wall, chill bar. All drinks are like only $7 and just a nice place to chill and talk with a friend. Seated right next to hotel tango, it was the perfect stop as we wanted to have a little happy hour before attending an event. Also they have some awesome glasses. They sit sideways and balance, all in all a great place.

Indy has so many great local eats and drinks! 1205 is no exception! I've had their stuff before at different locations and even purchasing it. But had not had the chance to come try it until now. On one side they have the bar repeal, which is cool in its own right, but little did I know they have a bar on the other side where the stills are! It's a cozy location but still lots of places to sit, I went to the bar and grabbed a seat. Looking at their menu they stick with gin, vodka, bourbon, rum and a rhubarb liquor. I also loved the saved by the bell summer themed cocktails, I had the giggle water which was refreshing and made with vodka, and then the chicken Parker that was made with gin plus lavender bitters. It appears business is good, there was a steady stream of customers in and out. There's also a fun place to hang out in the back that's a "speakeasy" style set up. The service I have no complaints about, quick attentive and friendly

Would love to try the fried shrimp at some point. The accompanying aiolis perfectly complemented the sliders! I completed my meal with a lemon drop martini. Service was friendly & attentive. The drinks, the ramen, the dessert...we love it all, and we love spending our money at a local business. For years now, the kitchen has substituted rice for ramen for me because I have gluten intolerance. I have always asked respectfully, explained why, and said thank you, every single time. Tonight my husband and I walked down to Strangebird for dinner, ordered drinks and dinner, and I had *just* said to my husband that Strangebird has come to feel like a second home. Then the server came out and told us that the chef has decided they will no longer permit any modifications, including those that meet dietary needs. We were out on the quiet patio surrounded by other customers, so on top of being totally blindsided, it was actually pretty embarrassing, too. Folks, let me tell you how much I wish I could just eat the ramen noodles like everybody else. So much food that I love (and in some cases spent years learning to make myself) went out the window forever when my body stopped being able to handle wheat. But at Strangebird, I could still go in and enjoy the depth of flavor in every other component of a bowl of ramen. And that meant the absolute world to me. I'm heartbroken.

Keagan Fife (Manager) - A team player, receptive to feedback and conscientious. We had a issue while there and he was able to step in and problem solve with me and come up with a solution that really won us over. We had a moment where it was feeling a bit "why did we come here" but his customer service exceeded expectation. That's good management. (He's the gentleman in the video below.) Let's get the negative out the way 1st. The first waitress asked if we wanted anything to drink. I told her we hadn't received menus. She came back sat them down and walked away. We never saw her again. A new waitress came and she seemed pleasant enough. Once we were all seated she began to take our orders. She made a point to say she needed to write it all down or she was get it mixed up. She then did not write anything down. Our food came out extremely slow but that wasn't a huge deal because we all were mingling. A lot of her team had to step in and deliver our food, give drinks, check on us etc. She was pretty non existent. Two of the ladies never received food. This was after we had been there for 2 hours and everyone else had received their items. At the end when we asked for our check they were all mixed up and confused. The waitress then blamed us for adding things and moving around. We never moved once and she only came around the one time when she originally took our orders. We never got a chance to add things. (it was quite comical that she tried to say that) I ended up asking for manager because she seemed overwhelmed and a bit bias about our group. Assuming that we wouldn't want one check and splitting them because she figured we would want it that way and then blaming us because she did it when we never asked for split. There rule is parties over 8 have to have 1 bill and we never asked for an exception. There was just her assumption that a group of black women wouldn't want to do that. (I digress) There were a few more things but I will end it there. That was the big negative. Now the positive!!! Ambiance 10/10 - great views, great music, great location, umbrellas on roof were great although a but wobbly and scary. Also, they come around with complimentary sunglasses while dining. I thought this was a nice and luxurious touch! Food 8/10 - most food received was delicious Service 9/10 - everyone except for our server was great! Everyone who pitched in to help was awesome! Ended up tipping a different server who basically helped us the whole time. Bless his heart because I know he was super busy. As stated above management handle the situation well. I would definitely go back! I try to give people a chance. I think our server may have been overwhelmed and had a past experience that left her bias against our group but hopefully she can grow and get better. Her actions don't reflect the restaurant as a whole! Go and enjoy the vibes and views!
