My screen on my cellphone cracked yesterday. I dropped my phone off at the shop at about 12:30 pm on my lunch break today. I told Gary I'd be back just after 5 pm to pick up my phone as I would be at work til then. I work very nearby and he offered to deliver the phone once he completed the repair. He made good on his offer and delivered my repaired phone to my place of work just one hour later!!! The prices here are very fair. Gary took customer service to another level! My 3 year-old iPhone 6 had accumulated issues over the past few months with battery dying within half a day and my screen not responding to my tap at random times. I was going to wait till Thanksgiving holiday is over and take it to Apple Store but after doing some research on others' experience with taking their old phones to Apple and read reviews on Yelp, I decided to go with getting my phone fixed a local way, and I found Wireless Options' perfect ratings and wanting to give it a try. I broke my screen once and get it fixed through Apple, it was a lot of hustle getting to Apple store and waiting to get called and more waiting to get it fixed. But my experience with Gary is night and day. Gary was very responsive even after work hours when I messaged him through Yelp. I was going to stop at his shop in the morning, but it began to rain. Gary offered to pick up the phone since my place was on his way to his shop and would get back to me when it's done. And within a couple of hours he got back with my battery replaced and LCD swapped. But with some technical difficulty, he had to go back and make some adjustments to the LCD, then he came back with my phone back to functioning! I'm very happy with his services! Gary is honest, genuine, cheerful, and he will go extra miles to make sure that his customers are happy :) I'd go back to him if I ever have issues with my phone again :) P.S. Storytime! Sooo since pokemon go came out, Im just trying to capture all the pokemon to register in my pokedex. I was chasing a Seel while doing my evening run and well my clumsy ass tripped on the uneven pavement and smashed my phone against the concrete. Not sure which part was the worse, me falling getting big bruises and scrapes, smashing my phone screen into shards or after 8 pokeball and 2 berry that Seel ran from me... just when I was picking myself up too... stupid.... Anyways I wish I knew this place was also opened 24/7 because I smashed my phone at 9pm last night and didn't realize how bored I am without my phone. So my friend searched up this place for me and recommended me to try here. So I did. It had great reviews and reputable. I called in about 20 min before I got there asking how long it would take him and such. Gave me a quote, told me how long it would take to fix, told him i'll swing by. Gary is such an awesome guy. He's gentle on the eyes, great personality (he's a hugger by the way) and just awesome! He knows that's he's doing and he makes sure it's a guarantee. Made 30 min go by quick. Great at multitasking and not afraid to recommend other products to you or other people because he wants what's best for his customers. I asked him about 3 different product that he had in store and told me to stick with whatever works for me from my past purchase. Honest answer. Love it. I've been meaning to write a review about Gary and his services! I try to be extremely careful with my phones, always in a protective phone case. Two years ago, I had a Tech21 case on my iPhone 6, a case that was recommended by the Apple store when I bought my phone. Long story short, I tripped and found out the hard way that Tech21 cases suck. My screen was shattered, and glass was peeling off and getting stuck on my fingers. In desperation, I went on Yelp and found Gary. I messaged him, took my phone to him the next day, and he had it fixed in half an hour! This guy is the real deal! Gary is AMAZING! I highly recommend him if you want fast, after hours, and hospitable service. My boyfriend found him on yelp and immediately noticed his top ratings, reviews, and late hours. This morning my iPhone 7 screen went black and I was desperate to fix it mainly because I have 18,000 photos that have accumulated over the past year. I called Apple support and made an appointment with Best Buy, both of whom told me that my phone would most likely be unrecoverable. Meanwhile, my boyfriend was speaking to Gary over the phone who seemed confident that he could repair my phone after everyone else made my situation seem hopeless. After meeting Gary, he immediately made my boyfriend and me comfortable, and assured me that he would do everything possible to access my photos. He worked quickly and carefully, but most importantly, he remained calm and positive throughout the entire process. I was nervous the whole time because I imagined losing a years worth of memories through my photos, but he kept the energy light which calmed me down. Frantic as I expect a lot of business calls throughout the day I called wireless options because they popped up on Yelp as near by and said they're available after hours. What can I say, I am notorious at dropping my phone and breaking my screen. I used to use the service of a guy in Walnut Creek, but this time around I chose Wireless Options based on YELP review. Called the sotre and Gary picked up immediately and quoted me a price after I told him my phone model- he did asked me which store I am heading to, so it appears that he has multiple locations. I met Kiki at the store and she told that she would be fixing my phone in 20 min, an iced coffee later- BAAM- my phone was good as new. Note: My camera had issues since the first time that I dropped it and pictures would not be of good quality, Kiki resolved this issue as well. Needed a new battery for my phone and YELPED! Found this place, called Gary at 5:05 pm and went to VM. Called again and it went to VM. Then 15 mins later, I got a text from Gary which was nice... asking if I needed anything done on my phone. I mentioned I needed a new battery. He told me if I could come asap since his niece is managing the store in Oakland and he's in his store in Albany. So I rushed to his store and arrived at 5:30 pm, came in and Kiki, his niece, was still there. They both thought I needed my screen fixed and was willing to complete the work and drive it back to my house as soon as they were done that night, which I thought was really great customer service, but I told her I just need to purchase a new battery. So Kiki, took out my new battery and exchanged it with a new one within 15 -20 minutes. Done! With tax it came out to $65.55 with warranty! What a deal! Convenient, super fast and excellent service. Great service, changed my pixel battery out and bought me (hopefully) some more time with my (otherwise fine) phone. Part of the reason I wanted to do this was to save money, but the primary reason was to reduce my e-waste footprint, so when I was given my old battery back and I asked if they could recycle if for me I was surprised that they suggested I just throw it in the trash can which is "what they usually do." I might have misheard this, and I'm sure it's a pain for them to recycle e-waste, but I think this is a critical service that they should provide to either manage it for people (say for a small fee) or direct them to locations where they can get this e-waste properly recycled. read more
