I have to say the place is a little bit more expensive than a another place I went to fix my phone, but I have to admit it was a good experience. Yelp said they are open 24 hours, I was like no way. So I went there around 8am and was surprised that Gary was there working on another phone. He told me he can fix it but not sure if he can get the part for it. So I left him with my phone and I was about to call around 12pm and he called to tell me it is fixed and is willing to drop it off since it was Christmas eve. I picked up the phone and he drove me around the block to make sure I checked out the phone to see if everything was working fine. Pretty quick service. They had me pick when I would come in--9 am. Didn't realize until I got there that they weren't yet open at that time, but they still saw me. They replaced my iPhone 6 battery in ~20-30 minutes and I was out the door. They also have a warranty, so I can come back if anything goes wrong since the repair. read more

I dropped my phone in the toilet, then let it stay on all night (I was in denial) AND the next morning, until it finally died. Fried motherboard. Gary and Kiki saved my phone and everything on it. Wow- Gary is the best. Crazy how expensive and time consuming repairing an iPhone screen is. But Gary was right on it- w/in 2 hours of my call he had picked up my phone, fixed it and brought it back right when he said he would. My husband dropped his iPhone 5s on the granite of Olmstead Point in Yosemite. What a wonderfully memorable way to shatter the screen! We got home Friday afternoon and didn't want to waste a Saturday morning on waiting around for a screen repair. That's when I found Gary's business online. We brought him the phone on Friday evening and he repaired it right away. The location in Uptown was very convenient and Gary and his coworker are warm, friendly, wonderful people. And of course this review would not be complete without a nod to Bubbles and Arnold, the two sweet dogs that give you love when you come into the shop. Gary is just awesome!! I called him and a bunch of other businesses yesterday to get the lowest price for replacing my sons' iPhone 6 screens. As crap luck would have it, BOTH boys had dropped their phones in the last week, shattering their screens. Arrrgh!! When I contacted Gary late afternoon yesterday, he was the only repairman who was willing to go out and get the white screens we needed. Everyone else said they only had black screens and we'd have to wait till next week to get the white ones. Gary agreed to get the screens right away and to fix them today for the lowest price I had been quoted by someone else. When we went into his shop I held out my hand to shake his hand, but instead he gave me a smile and a big hug. He said it would take about two hours to fix the phones, and he offered to bring the phones back to our house when he was done!! The whole time he had the phones, he texted me pics with his progress. The phones look like new, and I was so happy with his work, I sent him home with a plate of cookies I had just made. gary at wireless options is a literal angel. my iphone six screen had been broken for ages when i came across his shop in oakland. i went in the following weekend and he fixed my phone in under an hour, and was an absolute joy to chill with the whole time. he also hooked me up with a deal on a stronger case and offered to drive us home cuz he's a lyft driver to boot! we didnt need a ride, but he is the kind of person who makes you feel like you've been friends for years when you've only just met. his two dogs are big love puddles too, and let me get down on the floor and snuggle them while i waited. about a week later the screen started acting kinda funny, but i contacted gary and he immediately got back to me and said he'd fix it for free. when i finally took him up on his offer, it happened to be the day before i left town and he bent over backwards to fix things for me, going so far as to drive to my place and pick up my phone so i could keep packing, and he brought it back in good working order and charged me nothing. i really can't recommend gary enough, i joined yelp just so i could rave about him and would go back in a second. read more
