I have to say the place is a little bit more expensive than a another place I went to fix my phone, but I have to admit it was a good experience. Yelp said they are open 24 hours, I was like no way. So I went there around 8am and was surprised that Gary was there working on another phone. He told me he can fix it but not sure if he can get the part for it. So I left him with my phone and I was about to call around 12pm and he called to tell me it is fixed and is willing to drop it off since it was Christmas eve. I picked up the phone and he drove me around the block to make sure I checked out the phone to see if everything was working fine. If I drop my phone again I will definitely go back to have it fix. read more

Fast, painless process to get your phone fixed in under 25 mins. Gary was a delight to talk to and his puppies made the deal even sweeter!

Great service! Incredibly responsive at any time of the day (or night). Super knowledgeable about phone and tablet repair.

I've brought two, separate broken iphone screens to Wireless Options in the last month and Gary fixed them both quickly and with no hassles. Both the phones work great now. He is very friendly and he charges $25 less than the other places I contacted. read more

So I always figured I would save my first ever yelp review for somewhere that I just absolutely loved....or hated...but let me tell y'all about this man Gary! I had to fight a hoe on Friday and cracked my screen in the process. So I find Gary on yelp and choose to go in Saturday. Now picture me sad cause I'm thinking I'm about to have to pay out all the rest of my weekend drinking money to get it fixed right. Wrong. Not only did he fix my phone and make it like new but I even got to sit and watch the process. Idk why I was so excited that I got to watch, but hey I'm a simple girl. Anyway. He popped some screw things out like boom boom, threw the new screen in like bang, then put on a screen protector so flawlessly that I could have shed a tear. And I'm pretty sure this was all under 30 mins. So now I have plenty of time to get ready and my pockets are still plentiful enough to have about 3, 4, maybe about 6 drinks tonight. Thanks Gary! read more

Broke my phone screen while I was in town on business. I really rely on Yelp for reliable referrals. I found this place to as advertised. Gary had my phone fixed and better than new in a very short time! Reasonably priced and easy to find location. Gary is very customer oriented and someone the locals trust...observed while I waited for my phone. -BeerGirl from STL read more

My experience getting my iPhone 5c fixed here was so painless that it was practically delightful. Gary is so friendly and easy to talk to; plus he helped me figure out how much of the fix was covered by my insurance. Without insurance the fix was only $80. Hopefully I won't have a reason to go back, but if I do, that's my place! read more

Gary is the greatest! He had my antiquated phone open, shut, and running again in minutes. What a relief to find a knowledgeable, conscientious human being who could help. And his fee? Well, honestly, he's not charging enough for the quality of service provided. read more

Gary is running a top notch business. I contacted him through yelp and received a response within 5 minutes. He was fixing my shattered iPhone 6 screen half an hour later. Based on the service and price would most definitely recommend you take any phone or mobile device to his shop. read more

I'm so glad I chose Wireless Options (based on Yelp reviews). Gary has a cute little shop with two adorable (large) dogs. He is a master at his craft, a super nice guy and a very fair business man who clearly cares about his customers, new and old. I'll be back the next time I need a phone repair! read more

Pretty quick service. They had me pick when I would come in--9 am. Didn't realize until I got there that they weren't yet open at that time, but they still saw me. They replaced my iPhone 6 battery in ~20-30 minutes and I was out the door. They also have a warranty, so I can come back if anything goes wrong since the repair. read more

I dropped my phone in the toilet, then let it stay on all night (I was in denial) AND the next morning, until it finally died. Fried motherboard. Gary and Kiki saved my phone and everything on it. Gary then replaced the faulty screen a few days later while I waited. The service is fast and friendly, and comes with beautiful, laid-back dogs. It's great to be able to support small businesses in downtown Oakland. read more

My life has been super busy since starting a new job and moving into town that having a broken screen was so disappointing! After calling around to see what my options are, I called Gary's shop and he was so helpful in explaining his business. He offered to pick up my phone from work, fix it and bring it right back all jn the same day. I'm happy he offered to work around my schedule on such short notice and the whole ordeal was easier than I was afraid it would be. Totally would recommend to all my friends read more

Wow- Gary is the best. Crazy how expensive and time consuming repairing an iPhone screen is. But Gary was right on it- w/in 2 hours of my call he had picked up my phone, fixed it and brought it back right when he said he would. He's cheaper than the local 'fix-it' shop and a smidge more than the Apple Store, but no wait, no parking, and he's so nice. Highly recommend him. read more

Gary is Awesome! Super knowledgeable and communicative. Best in service for sure!

Thought I might have to buy a new phone, but Gary was able to fix my phone within 10 minutes. Also, A+ in customer service. Very nice Guy!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Gary and Wireless Options. From his variety of phone cases and accessories to his two sweet greeters (dogs) that are too friendly and loving for words! If you see something you like and not sure you what case you want to purchase it, he will let you take it for a couple of days and try it out. I really needed a wall charger for Samsung 5, but did not have the funds at the time and he let me take the charger and told me to pay him when I got paid. Gary is nothing short of awesome! If you are looking for an great deal on a case or an accessory, Gary is your guy! Stop in at Wireless Options and see for yourself. You will receive accommodating, helpful service! read more

My husband dropped his iPhone 5s on the granite of Olmstead Point in Yosemite. What a wonderfully memorable way to shatter the screen! We got home Friday afternoon and didn't want to waste a Saturday morning on waiting around for a screen repair. That's when I found Gary's business online. We brought him the phone on Friday evening and he repaired it right away. The location in Uptown was very convenient and Gary and his coworker are warm, friendly, wonderful people. And of course this review would not be complete without a nod to Bubbles and Arnold, the two sweet dogs that give you love when you come into the shop. In summary, this is a great local business that has my highest recommendation. read more

The best! In and out in 15 minutes, brand new screen! Excellent service, all around nice guy!

Gary is just awesome!! I called him and a bunch of other businesses yesterday to get the lowest price for replacing my sons' iPhone 6 screens. As crap luck would have it, BOTH boys had dropped their phones in the last week, shattering their screens. Arrrgh!! When I contacted Gary late afternoon yesterday, he was the only repairman who was willing to go out and get the white screens we needed. Everyone else said they only had black screens and we'd have to wait till next week to get the white ones. Gary agreed to get the screens right away and to fix them today for the lowest price I had been quoted by someone else. When we went into his shop I held out my hand to shake his hand, but instead he gave me a smile and a big hug. He said it would take about two hours to fix the phones, and he offered to bring the phones back to our house when he was done!! The whole time he had the phones, he texted me pics with his progress. The phones look like new, and I was so happy with his work, I sent him home with a plate of cookies I had just made. Gary has a willingness to work hard, do a good business, and go out of his way to just be helpful, caring, and kind. I cannot recommend him more highly!! read more

gary at wireless options is a literal angel. my iphone six screen had been broken for ages when i came across his shop in oakland. i went in the following weekend and he fixed my phone in under an hour, and was an absolute joy to chill with the whole time. he also hooked me up with a deal on a stronger case and offered to drive us home cuz he's a lyft driver to boot! we didnt need a ride, but he is the kind of person who makes you feel like you've been friends for years when you've only just met. his two dogs are big love puddles too, and let me get down on the floor and snuggle them while i waited. about a week later the screen started acting kinda funny, but i contacted gary and he immediately got back to me and said he'd fix it for free. when i finally took him up on his offer, it happened to be the day before i left town and he bent over backwards to fix things for me, going so far as to drive to my place and pick up my phone so i could keep packing, and he brought it back in good working order and charged me nothing. i really can't recommend gary enough, i joined yelp just so i could rave about him and would go back in a second. read more
