I found they had a truck that fit my needs and happened to be passing through town (on my way from San Jose to Reno ) on a tight schedule. I told Joran i have 1 hr, I want to pay the advertised price + Tax&License. 45 minutes later i was back on the road with a new Silverado 2500. I was totally expecting the run around and to have to walk out. When ever i am in the market for a new car i am giving them first shot at my business. Highly recommend for a straight forward no 'sales man games' experience. read more

I inquired about a pre owned vehicle they had before they were open, Jimmy got back to me immediately when they opened and began the process with me. Very professional and quick, and within an hour everything was ready for me to come in for the test drive. There was no pressure or expectation, just being super helpful and friendly. Tom the sales manager was also very quick to get all the paperwork together and I got a great price on a great vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to any of my friends and family! read more

I was searching for the right deal on a used z71 Silverado and was lucky enough to come across the truck of my dreams on their lot. I filled out an online appointment survey on New Year's Day and was contacted by Edgar bright and early the following morning. Within seconds I felt I was in good hands as he was able to answer all my questions, confidently and quickly. After a brief conversation we set up an appointment for later that afternoon. By 430 I was driving off the lot grinning like a kid on Christmas morning! The entire experience was quick & painless and as someone who has purchased several vehicles over the years, it was nice to have a deal go so smoothly for once. I would highly recommend making the trip to Colfax if you're in the market for a new or used Chevy. The small town dealership vibe is incredibly personal...you won't be disappointed! read more

Winner Chevrolet - 2022 Silverado Z71 Trail Boss aka my dream truck!!!!! - Tires Near Me - Colfax, California

The service department here is the worst I have ever experienced. I put in a brand new transmission and had them program it and fill the transmission fluid to ensure was at the proper level. They over filled my brand new transmission by 2 1/2 quarts, I had to fix this problem and now my new transmission slips in some gears. Winner Chevy refused to even consider refunding the money I paid for them to damage my new transmission. They told several lies in the conversation as to how there is no way they over filled the transmission, they didn't care to see the pictures or anything they just said we didn't do it. read more

This dealership wasted our time and lied about a car's availability. They listed a vehicle for sale that wasn't even ready, and we were the first to view it. We clearly expressed our interest, left our contact info, and asked to be notified when it was processed. After multiple follow-ups, they casually told us days later that the car was already sold. No apology, no effort to make it right--just poor communication. read more

Bought a truck from this dealership, Cameron and John were awesome. They were honest, fair, and upfront about the OTD price, no high pressure sales. I notified them I was on my way to pick up the vehicle, when I arrived the paperwork was all printed, the truck cleaned and ready to go. I was only at the dealership 15 minutes and was on the road with the new truck. As long as Winner Chevrolet is open for business I will never again have to spend hours in a fancy dealership showroom, bored, hungry, and anxious while the sales team use their tactics to squeeze me for more money. Thank you Cameron and John. You two are true professionals. read more

I am an elderly gentleman and have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime. Edger Valencia, with Winner Chevrolet, is the best sales representative I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I have stage four cancer, with the need to down size from a truck to a small SUV, a vehicle that I can use as transportation to and from the cancer center. I am not capable of driving to the dealership in Colfax for an appraisal on my truck and to shop for the small SUV. Edger went above and beyond to accommodate me through the truck appraisal process, selection of the right SUV to fit my needs and made sure all of the final paper work and auto registration was completed in the proper and legal manner. Edger made the entire auto trade and purchase process seamless for an individual beginning the long journey of cancer treatments he made my life easier. If you live in Northern California and looking to purchase a Chevrolet, I highly recommend the team at Winner Chevrolet in Colfax CA for your next auto purchase. And for a seamless sales process, Edger Valencia will listen to your needs and give you the best possible auto sales experience. read more

Towing the RV to Grass Valley for a five day stay. GMC Duramax threw a code near Chico, but made it to camp and setup. Called Winner Chevy after two other calls went without results. We have bought 4 new vehicles in our life between my husband and my self and today's sale went so smoothly and when I said no to add ons there was no pushiness. The guy we were signing papers with was a tad short sometimes, but honestly I think he was upset about my hustle to not get ripped off and getting a stellar deal Overall I would definitely recommend this place. I mainly worked with Victor through the entire process and he was awesome! read more

Had a great experience with Winner Chevrolet. We had LOTS of work to be done on our 2005 Silverado and they were able to get us in for the repairs in a timely fashion and reasonable cost. And, as a bonus, the truck was cleaned inside and out! We're excited to have found a reliable, professional and customer-service oriented service center. read more

ATTENTION!!! If you are looking to buying a vehicle at this place BE PREPARED! This dealership is THE WORSE and their customer service is TERRIBLE!!! We Bought a vehicle from here and nothing that was explained to us was in the contract! Turns out they did nothing but LIE to sell this vehicle that ended up having a million problems. From one fix to another I was sold a defective vehicle that now is costing me money because the insurance I had signed for was NOT what they had told me. This dealership is all a SCAM go elsewhere don't waste your time with people who are DISHONEST AND STEAL! read more

Absolute scam the people of Weimar and Colfax know for a fact that Winter Chevrolet is one of the biggest scams out there little do they know at Winter Chevrolet that an elderly lady was scammed and her son is a law enforcement officer and he is highly upset about it these reviews at five stars are absolutely fictitious ! I had my wife's Chevy SUV diagnosed elsewhere and they said there is no such issue that Winter Chevrolet reported on winner Chevrolet makes the rest of the Chevy dealerships look horrible untrustworthy dishonest just to make a buck their warranty companies and insurance companies need to be aware of this nonsense and is not very hard to prove at all whatsoever especially when you got a printout of the fake diagnostic sheets . No wonder Winter Chevrolet is selling Fords! Never will return to winner Chevrolet in Colfax read more

Came in for recall service on my Chevy that I purchased from Winner about a year ago. Appointment was at 9:30. Arrived a little early and saw just about every bay was taken..Had no great outlook that this would be good. Was told the job would take 2 hours at least. They started the work on time and in an hour and 45 minutes, I got a call that the vehicle was ready. Very courteous and I was floored that even though they were busy, 2 CHP vehicles were on the floor, I was out in less than the time I anticipated. Good job, Winner Chev. read more

I recently traveled from Murphys, CA to trade in 2 vehicles and purchase a new one. Cameron arranged an amazing trade in offer on my cars and worked hard to get me the best rate and payment for the new one. He was friendly, professional, and a great communicator. This place is awesome! I was calling for cross rails for a factory installed rack that had recessed track side rails only. Although they did not have the part I needed, they did provide me with the education and proper language for parts I needed to find exactly what I was looking for. It is really refreshing to find a person that takes the time to listen and that cares enough to make sure a customer accomplishes what they set out to do. I called three Chevy dealers parts departments from Reno to CA and these folks in Colfax were the only ones to explain that I needed an after market part. It made the world of difference and they saved me money! Thank you Mr. Parts Man! You saved from a very long and very cramped road trip! read more

Our experience at Winner Chevy was an easy, low pressure, transparent buying process. Totally worth driving 30 mins up the mountain to buy the perfect SUV for our family. Cameron and Steve were easy to communicate with and answered questions before making the drive to the dealership. I can't say enough about Winner Chevrolet! I had the best car buying experience. The salesperson was so helpful and no pressure. I came with a specific budget and they found me a used SUV under budget and nicer than I thought I'd be able to afford. Also I need to mention that the finance was portion was extremely efficient, not hours of sitting. If you are looking for anything from new to used, I believe you will get the best sales treatment at Winners. I'll be bringing my car back to Winner's for all the routine maintenance. Thank you Tim B. for all of your help and patience with a girl who has a hard time deciding what car to buy!! I'm so happy with my new ride read more

We just purchased a car this month from Winner Chevrolet. Mr. Jesse Horn was our salesperson. He was the nicest, most efficient car sales person I ever had the pleasure of working with! And the entire staff is so welcoming... and great at their jobs! Including the finance department! We took a chance to go to more of a "hometown" dealership (by coming to Winner Chevrolet) (versus going on down to Roseville and Sacramento.) And I am so very pleased we did! I can recommend these guys to anyone. Professional and smooth process, from beginning to end. We are enjoying our purchase, and thankful for a stress free transaction! read more

Best car dealership!!!! We bought a used 2018 F150 on April 3, 2020. Truck was in almost new condition. The sales gal Calli was amazing. No pressure sales and no games. This place was a life saver!! My car unexpectedly overheated in the mountains (300 miles from home; of course after hours) & there was no AAA, rental car, or even any service nearby for days/weeks. I took my RV to this place for a smog test. They told me it would be $153...., 20 for pretest and 133 for the full smog. They said it flunked the pretest and it would cost $250 just to find out what was wrong. $125 per hour!! then the 133 plus the cost of doing the repair work. So I took it elsewhere. Turns out it passed the "real" pretest and the full smog without doing anything. I had gone elsewhere expecting repairs to be needed. Nope.. it was fine. Winner had ripped me off. The other garage said that Winner never really did a pretest at all otherwise there would have been a full report. They charged me $20 for nothing. I have heard nothing but bad reports about Winner and now I know they are all true. Stay away. Oh, and Rich Morris is the jerk service manager who ripped me off. read more

My husband and I bought a car that came with a warranty that provided us with free oil changes at the same makes dealership, and that was how we became customers of Winner's Chevrolet. Even though at first, we were not "cash" paying customers, we were still treated with respect and honesty. Our warranty soon ran out and we have been going to Winner's ever since. From the beginning of our visits, Chris in service has always handled our appointments and been honest and upfront with us about work we needed and time frames. Winner's has never pressured us into having work performed, even when we would decide to hold off, and they gave us a realistic time frame before the part absolutely needed to be replaced. We have had an array of work performed on all of our vehicles from this service shop and all the work has been done correctly, timely and we have never had any problems. We can trust and rely on Winner's to get the work done and give us an honest opinion about what we may need. read more

Chrysler town and country mini van battery blew up! I want to complement the nice man at the service counter who came to our rescue on Wednesday morning. I feel so bad I didn't get his name but felt so grateful that I wanted to share this. We were driving from Elk Grove to a Reno to see our Grandma when we noticed the Service light came on in my new 2019 truck. It said coolant level low. We were so grateful to see Winner Chevrolet along the freeway. We turned around and went to the service department. I was a little bit embarrassed to ask if it was ok to keep driving. The nice man at the counter said - let me take a look. Then said it looks ok but let's have a tech look just to be safe. Another man came out and showed me what to look at and instantly I felt better. It appears sometimes the sensitive sensors are creating this message to appear. You could see the coolant was completely full. In about 5 minutes we were back on the road smiling and confident that we were safe to drive. The service desk man deserves an A+++++ for his customer service. I hope he sees this and knows how grateful we were for his help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got to Reno and home safely. THANK YOU!!!! read more

Purchased a new Truck from Winner, and am extremely happy with both the sales and service I received. Jordan in sales and Jeremy in Service both made this an easy decision to buy locally. Absolutely will recommend and return. read more

Most car salespeople are bad, but wow these guys take it to a new level. A month ago I was driving by on 80 and saw a red Tahoe sitting in the lot. When I got home I tried to find info about it on their awful website and gave up after a few minutes of searching. Today I was driving by again and the Tahoe was still there so I decided to stop. There was no window sticker and it was locked so I went inside the building. Nobody even looked up when I came in so I asked some guy for someone in sales. He introduced me to another guy and I asked about the red Tahoe. Keep in mind, this is not only the only Tahoe on the entire lot but it is bright fire engine red. He acted so confused, it was like I asked about a space shuttle. He explained that his confusion was a result of being away for a few days. (Remember, it had been sitting there for a month.) That guy then passed me off to another guy who was busy on his computer. Without looking up he said that the Tahoe was "in fleet." When I asked what that meant he ignored me and went and asked yet another guy if it was a fleet vehicle. The guy just said, "Yes. It's for sale." which just confused this guy too. He then went back and set down at his computer and ignored me. After a few minutes I walked out and left. read more

You get in life I believe about 7 moments of truth. When they come you can only hope you have the sense to recognize them and act on them. This review is one of those moments of truth. I'm 65 years old and I have been around the block a few times buying vehicles. I'm going to help anyone out reading this and I can only hope you will take it to heart. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER HOME-GROWN DEALERSHIP with morals and values than Winner Chevrolet in Colfax, CA. FORGET going to your usual corporate B.S. dealer where you know you're going to get the run-around and either make a foolish buying decision or walk out frustrated and wish you had never gone in the first place. From the owner of this dealership down the chain EVERYONE at Winner Chevrolet is going to make you feel like you're a part of their family. They are going to treat you with respect. They are going to give you a good deal. They are going to care about service after the sale. We purchased a 2019 Chevy Silverado HD 3500 1-ton dually, a 2020 Arctic Fox Model 1150 trailer (Sierra R.V. is owned by the dealership), traded in our Ford F-250 and our Heartland Fifth Wheel all in one transaction and I'm still marveling at how EASY Winner Chevrolet made all of this. Can you imagine the stress in a corporate-minded dealership. Do yourself a favor O.K? When it comes time to buy your Chevrolet car or truck make it a point to do business with this dealership. They are completely unique in the car business in the best kind of way. You'll be amazed at how easy they make it obtaining your new vehicle. Truly...DON'T BOTHER GOING ANYWHERE ELSE...you simply won't get the professionalism, expertise and care you will at this dealership. The owner has spent many years crafting his brand of the "family feel" and he protects it like it's his own baby because it is! read more

I drove to Winner Chevrolet on 5/3 to look at a used Kia that was exactly what I was looking for. What an unbelievable experience I had at Winner Chevrolet. From the moment I drove up and was greeted by Elizabeth the experience was wonderful! The place was immaculate, there was hand sanitizer in the vehicle for use before and after the test drive and I was treated like they had sold me cars for years!! I was never pushed into buying, and never pushed into looking at something that was newer or out of my price range. Kelly was kind, helpful, patient and a delight to chat with. When I said i wanted to think about the deal over lunch Jordan suggested T.J's Roadhouse where I got a great burger! Full and happy, I went back and told Kelly I would add the extra 109.00 to my down to meet the pre-approval I had. He surprised me by saying he would drop the price the 109.00 to meet my approval! These are real people. Thank you Kelly, Elizabeth and Jordan for your hospitality. Don't even bother with these guys. After I was having trouble with my car on rt.80 I got it towed here (it was nearby). They took a look at it and told me that they discovered the problem was my rear differential. Guess what? the differential was fine. It was a wheel bearing. Price differential? $800. This place is a scam. Stay away. read more
