Don't even bother with these guys. After I was having trouble with my car on rt.80 I got it towed here (it was nearby). They took a look at it and told me that they discovered the problem was my rear differential. When I told them I wanted my normal mechanic to perform the work because it was closer to home they charged me $150 for 45 minutes of work. Had my mechanic check it out. Guess what? the differential was fine. It was a wheel bearing. Price differential? $800. This place is a scam. Stay away. read more

The bodyshop is a NIGHTMARE beyond words! His has been a thorn in my side for the last 3+ years, and I'm glad it's over. When my car hit black ice, it got towed to the closest place around town...unfortunately it was them. The first issue was my insurance companies fault, they told the body shop my deductible was $250 instead of $500, they quickly caught the error the next day and informed them of the change. The repair work took over a month to finish and I was calling them constantly to ask for updates. Every single call was an excuse on why it wasn't done. Finally when it was done, i paid the deductible and drove it home. About two weeks later, the check engine light went on and I had to pay upfront to take it to a local body shop. Fine, didn't really care, cause I knew it was because of the accident. ....fast forward over a year later... I get a call from the body shop manager about how I still owe them $250 bucks that stemmed from the deductible. I still had the bill that said PAID IN FULL and signed by all the parties. The manager came up with a b.s. story about how that was supposed to mean PIF by the insurance company not me. Even though it said PIF and $250 circled and initialed by the manager. Don't get me wrong, if it were a couple months later and they caught the error, I would've worked with them. They threatened to sue me, and I told them to kick rocks. ...fast forward another year... Didnt hear anything of it, until I get a certified letter while I was out of the country saying if I don't respond in 30 days I am going to be taken to court. I ended up getting paid back the money for the second repair at a different repair shop, and they were tryin to say that check was supposed to be for them. I wrote them back with the bill and a response, and in a nut shell called them out and said go ahead! I never heard back! This place has blatantly lied to my face, and lied to my insurance company many times. I can't believe a business can get away with stuff like this. I don't know how many people have told me to just give in and pay the money, but I couldn't let them get away with it. The manager admitted that is happened to 6 (I think) other people, so clearly this is a problem they have. Make sure you get everything is writing and keep a copy! read more

This review is about 3 years overdue... and glad I finally remembered to write it. Imagine our distress when the clutch on our Subaru gave out one Christmas eve on the way up to Tahoe crawling along in a snowstorm, especially mine when I'd dismissed my wife's concern that there was a problem as we left the Bay Area... Also adding to the distress was two unwell children in the back... After frantic internet searches for auto repair business, we headed for Winner, and fortunately the clutch's last gasp got us to the Winner parking lot, and from there our trip was rescued... They rented us a car, fixed ours while we continued up for our ski week, and they also gracefully hosed down the parking lot without complaint after my son barfed in their parking lot. We send them well-wishes whenever we drive by now! read more

If there was a way to give Zero stars I would have. Hands down the rudest service advisor experience in my history of dealing with dealer service advisors. I had been in the market for a new SUV, and had been deciding between a Chevy Traverse and a Hyundai Santa Fe. After dealing with Richard today, I've decided to never buy a Chevy again. Whenever I have been out of town and had any problems with any of my vehicles, I've never been shy about calling a dealer service advisor and ask them if there's anything I can do about weird mechanical issues that come up when there's no one to take it to where I am at the time. First of all, this service advisor decided not to be helpful at all, secondly decided to insult me in the process. Seriously, dealer service advisors have usually been so knowledgeable about their manufacturer's issues that they've been able to tell me on the phone exactly what I should do when I am in a strange place. "Winners" Chevrolet totally missed an opportunity today. If the guy hadn't been a total jerkwad and been willing to talk me through what was a safety issue caused by Checy's poor design, I wouldn't be leaving them a poor review. Two months ago, the Uplander van door literally came off the track and fell off the vehicle, landing on my foot. Of course I fixed it myself with the help of Youtube. Now a seat that comes off track and won't pop back into place... and somehow Richard relished blaming it on me and telling me what an idiot I was. read more

They do the work they quote, and do it right the first time. They always return my vehicles clean, with no greasy hand prints. Do not waste your time with this dealership. If I could give negative stars I would. I tried to buy a vehicle online and was never contacted by anyone on their end. I had to initiate contact with them on several occasions- and was lied to. Apparently, when you begin the purchasing process online, the dealership, or at least this one, does not hold the vehicle for you. When I spoke with the salesperson the truck was there, and then magically 24 hour, contact free hours later it was sold. I called and spoke with Ryder at 2:57pm, who said he would have me called back, (spoiler no one did) could have told me at that time that the vehicle was gone. Nope, it took an email at 4:26pm for me to get a phone call back, where a now fourth salesperson was involved, and she finally said that the truck was sold yesterday. I then spoke with Ryder, and when I wouldn't listen to his false apologies and lies, he hung up on me. This is not a dealership that values any sort of customer, or even customer service. I wouldn't want to waste my time there if I were you. read more

I brought my truck up the hill to check for cold starting issues. Rich Morris was very nice when I dropped off the vehicle and when I picked it up. He also only charged me $45 for the diagnostic work he did, when I was expecting to pay twice as much. I'll drive up here again (from Sac) to get my truck worked on the next time it needs work. My car's temperature gauge on the instrument cluster started reading 0 and my vehicle's computer assumed it was overheating. After testing at a 3rd party mechanic, they said the engine was fine and recommended a trip to the dealership. When I made the appt. I specifically asked about the possibility of a bad thermostat on the vehicle. After extensive "testing" they informed me that it was the fact the coolant sensor was not talking to the main computer. They replaced the wire for a hefty price which did not fix it at all. I was told that if that didn't fix it, they would have to replace the main computer which would cost a good amount of money. It was an oil change facility that ran the code that said they had seen this many times and it generally was the thermostat. Needless to say, after changing the thermostat the vehicle runs fine and the problem is fixed. I cannot recommend a place that will not listen to the consumer and pushes parts and fixes that cost a lot of money but do not address the actual problem. read more

Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere! The entire sales staff as well as the General Manager are liars and scam artists. We purchased a Silverado that ultimately turned out to be a previously used rental car with more problems in 3 mos than we can count. Not to mention they didn't disclose this was a previous rental car (which is illegal). They continued to tell us lie after lie after lie to try to cover their butts. After 5 mos with continued problems, no registration or license plates and multiple threats from the DMV to me regarding the vehicle I traded in, we returned the truck to the dealership. During this process they continued to lie and cover and lie and cover. Needless to say the end result is not what they had promised! We had to take a huge loss on the vehicle and took our business elsewhere where we purchased a new truck with no problems! Save yourself the hassle and start some place else. read more

We purchased our Tahoe brand new from them in 2002. We have always gone to them for major service and even just called for advice and they have always been helpful. We also have them service our Avalanche. My emergency brake broke upon setting it and though the brake fully released, it wasn't registering and my truck beeped a warning the entire way to and from work. I called Winner Chevrolet and Chris was able to get me in to a booked schedule the following morning to install a new brake kit. Not only did he get me in a booked schedule, he got it done early so I could open my Antique shop on time in Lincoln. When I went to pick up my truck, they had completely washed it and cleaned the rims, vacuumed inside etc... I couldn't believe it. When I got home, my husband immediately noticed how nice the truck looked. The customer service is always excellent, though they are a 30 minute drive for me, it is worth the gas and time for the quality they deliver. Thanks guys. the worst service experience I have ever had. took the vehicle in to have water pump replaced. upon pick up, from the very first time started, brake and battery lights were both on. when driving home headlights became very dim making it extremely unsafe to drive. we were unable to drive over the weekend and returned on Monday. we were told that the alternator had coincidentally gone bad and would not even think about assuming any responsibility, it would cost another almost $500.00 to repair. I then spoke to rich the so called service advisor and eric the service manager. I was treated rudely, condescended to and argued with. basically they said pay up or get out. I never expected anything for free just a little help with the cost and possibly sorry for your inconvenience. after speaking with a couple of other people I heard nothing but bad things about both service and sales. even their own employees complain about horrible customer service. do not make the same mistake as we did.
