Wings aren't bad and the online ordering is simple but I'm giving only 2 stars for giving us a 10 PC order when we ordered 20. Didn't realize this until after the 40-minute drive home. Partly our fault for not checking before leaving. My wife and I tried calling the store, and we have both been on hold for over 45 minutes as I write this review. What's not to love about a chicken wing?!! I use to frequent Wingstop a bit when I lived in DFW for a while and they're still mighty tasty. Running an errand in Wasilla, we decided to stop since I was about to chew off my husbands right thigh in the truck. We went for 30 wings, crispy, 25 Louisiana Dry Rub and 5 of them traditional Hot. It was fairly busy in there, so it took about 20 minutes, not too bad. Cooked perfectly crispy and after I ate my 5 Hot, saucy wings, I continued to dip the dry rub in my sauce. Mighty Tasty!!! So if it was so good, why only 4 stars?? The tables all needed to be wiped down, unfortunately. There were a few employees chatting and standing around, so enough time to wipe a few tables down as customers came and went. When we arrived, there were a few of us in line and nobody at any of the tables yet. Unfortunately my husband put his arm in ranch dressing... or at least that's what we think it was... blech!! Will we go back?? Yep, totally, I'd go back in and dine and get take out. From past experience and what I saw, it's highly recommended that you call ahead to get a to-go order, so you don't have to wait. 7/22 - Happy to be back!! Was VERY HAPPY to see several full tables when we came in. Young lady at the register was super cheerful. Allowed me to trade the free brownie for ranch dressing for my Yelp review. Wing Stop is going to be a new popular spot in Wasilla. We placed a late night to-go order in person and got three flavors of wings - Korean Spicy Q, Louisiana Dry Rub, and Hawaiian. Hawaiian was the perfect mild and sweet wing, tasting a lot like sweet and sour but with some different seasonings. Korean Spicy Q was my favorite and was pretty hot. My friend liked the Louisiana Dry Rub the best. We also had the Louisiana Voodoo Fries - Cajun seasoning, ranch, and cheddar cheese covered fries - we loved them. For a chain restaurant in Wasilla that's open until midnight, this spot is the bomb. I think our other options were a couple of pubs in Palmer and a couple of fast food joints, so Wing Stop was like heaven. If you're looking for authentic original wings, look elsewhere. When the best thing you can say about a wing restaurant is that their carrot sticks were the best part of the meal....I really wanted to support another Valley business. I figured a new restaurant would be busy so I went online to try to order. I ended up just calling for a pickup order. I don't want to have to spend the time registering so I can order. The website doesn't list the "flavors" so I had to go to the national website to find those. The flavors are very well displayed in the restaurant. 3 different flavors were ordered. The Louisiana Rub was way to salty. Seems like that might be the seasoning they put on their fries too. So if you love salt try the Louisiana Rub and the fries. The Teriyaki was ok. Nothing spectacular. The Cajun were neon red and the most tolerable for me. Over the phone I thought I had ordered two drinks. At checkout the lady looks at the receipt staples to the to go bag and says no it's not on there. So I was ok with not having to carry beverages to the car and I could drink water at work. Well the receipt that came off the register showed that I had ordered two drinks and paid for them. I did not want to go back in and wait in line to argue over this as I don't plan on ever going back anyway. They had two small TV's and what looked like fast food restaurant seating. Nothing real comfortable or special. Save yourself some time and money. Fred's is in the same parking lot and their wings are better. Or go to Carr's and hit their wing bar. Stopped there today for the first time. Placed my order. They said it would be 18 minutes. So, while I wait, another couple comes in probably 5 minutes after me. They placed their order. Interestingly enough they received their order probably 5 minutes before I received mine. My teenager has been wanting to go to Wingstop for a long time but I would never go because I'm super picky about my food (especially my hot wings) and I don't care to eat out much (especially a "stop & go" place). It's cold and rainy today & I needed something hot so I gave in & I am pleasantly surprised at the flavor, amount of food, and prices at at Wingstop. But the most impressive thing I experienced was the staff. They were all very pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The girl at the front counter was amazingly helpful and friendly. This is a chain place for wings... chains restaurants aren't usually my thing but the wings here are consistently made hot to order, consistent flavor, and a good amount of food for the price. This is a solid and reliable place to get wings. They only have one rub which is sad but it's such a good rub which is flavorful rather than salty. Their other sauces are good as well but there's lots of sugar in those and in my opinion cause crispy wings to get soggy. Their ranch and blue cheese are the best! I went here with my family to see how it was. I saw it going in and was curious especially with the variety of wing flavors offered. My husband got the Atomic and Cajun flavors. I got Hawaiian and Garlic Parmesan. My daughters both got Teriyaki while 1 daughter also got the Hawaiian flavor as well. My husband and daughters ordered the seasoned fries as their side while I got the veggie sticks. Overall it was pretty good. Their Atomic flavor is advertised as being super spicy but it was not. My husband loves spicy food and when something is advertised as being super spicy he expects it to actually be spicy. I tried a bite and felt that yes it was spicy but not extemely so. If you like really spicy food you will be disappointed with the Atomic wings. The Cajun wings were a dry rub but very tasty with good Cajun flavor though still not really spicy according to the husband. I enjoyed my 2 flavors but I wish I knew ahead of time that the veggie sticks would just be raw carrots and celery. I would have just gotten the fries. We all thought the fries were really good. Well seasoned and hand cut. I ate a ton and I don't usually eat a ton of fries. My one daughter who got Teriyaki wings thought they were too sweet. She really liked my Garlic Parmesan.
