Our go to sub shop in Alaska. Great food, quick and friendly service and a quaint place to sit down and grub. Very good selection of sauces as well! read more

A cute little community-owned restaurant, the decor was cute and had a good amount of seating, with upstairs and downstairs seating alongside outdoor seating. The restrooms were nice and clean. The subways were tasty-- the wait was moderate. The food was all high quality. A little more expensive when compared to Subway, but the food was definitely worth the price. The bread was super soft and all of the vegetables were fresh. Great for our group of eight! A great place to stop at if you are visiting. read more

Krazy Moose Subs - The Veggie Sub... I forgot to take a picture before I ate the first one - Sandwiches Near Me - Wasilla, Alaska

Well I guess one good thing came out of my vehicle breaking down in Wasilla, I got to FINALLY try this old timey deli sandwich shop. The food kinda reminds me a lot of Sarah's in Anchorage. Overall good hearty sandwiches && heart warming soups! I treated my friend who helped me limp my car to her house in the valley to this awesome heart warming meal. We both got sandwiches, soup && shared a very large grilled chicken salad. The grilled chicken salad was noiiiice with a hearty amount of chicken && veg. I don't remember what size of sandwich we got - but it was quite largo! Multiple meals came from this wich! The bread was soft but nice and flakey on the outside, but didn't get soggy on the drive home from the dressings && fresh veggies. We got the Clam Chowder && the jambalaya. The jambalaya was less to be desired, wished we would have gotten the rice on the side since it soaked up the liquid of the jambalaya on the way home, BUT the Clam Chowder was good! They also had a generously stocked sauce bar which was also well stocked with TOGO utensils && napkins! This place highly recommended in my book! read more

Brought my wife to Alaska on vacation to show her my old stomping grounds. It's been almost 15 years. Been hitting up some of my favorite places and I was hoping that Krazy Moose was as good a I remember it. Of course, it was! I love the history of the old building and the friendliness of the staff (which is a huge score for me, I can tolerate bad food if the customer service was friendly). The food speaks for itself. Bread baked fresh daily and once they are out they are done selling. The portion sizes are bigger than I remember but tasty as ever. I highly recommend Krazy Moose! read more

Krazy Moose Subs - Chicken bacon ranch and the pastrami Subs I split with the wifey. - Sandwiches Near Me - Wasilla, Alaska

The meat on our sub and sandwich was VERY sparse. Wouldn't return. Two inches on the end of the sub didn't have any meat.

We enjoyed it. First time here. My wife and I each had a 5" sub. I had the Italian and she had the Philly Cheesesteak. Service is counter service and they bring your food out to your table when done. Service was friendly. The sandwiches were good. I might favor Jimmy John's over Krazy Moose but we did enjoy it, they have a few choices of sizes and a large variety of both cold and hot subs. I'd eat here again. read more

Very good. Lots of good kid options. Big variety Nice workers Decorations were nice Love how they kept photos of old wassilla on the wall read more

excellent place to grab a quality sub/sandwich. We were both surprised and pleased with the quality.

Great atmosphere and service. Sandwich selection is great and our favorite is the seafood sub. They have most of the traditional subs on the menu with a variety of sizes. Bonus: Cookies are thick and cakey (and delicious). Great place to stop in Wasilla! read more

The staff were very polite and the atmosphere feels like a comfortable sandwich shop with a classic face; however, we couldn't even eat our sandwiches because they tasted like nothing but mayonaise. They were good sized sandwiches. I have had co-workers say good things about Krazy Moose but I'm thinking it just isn't for us. We've eaten here twice now with the same experience trying different options. Maybe no/very light mayo if we try again. read more

Super good sandwich's at affordable prices. Was happy to see I can sit down in a restaurant and not pay a fortune as Alaska prices are always so high in restaurants. Would much rather have this over fast food! Will definitely be back again! read more

While the convenience of Krazy Moose Subs makes it a great stop for a quick lunchtime trip, if convenience is not your goal I recommend searching for another spot. The food was mediocre unless you add your own seasoning. We tried the tuna, the veggie, and chicken bacon ranch sub. We left feeling full but will forget disinterested in returning. read more

I love this place! I love their chicken melt and ham sandwiches. I normally order online or call in my order, always ready on time. When I order inside there is usually a line, but completion time after order is pretty good for how busy they usually are. read more

I really enjoy their soups and chicken ranch subs. Always a fun place to visit whike walking around town.

I have been going to Crazy Moose Subs since they were over by Wasilla lake! We have always had good service and great food!

LOVED the sandwiches here, several to choose from. Great options on sandwich size too. Will definitely be making the drive out again. So worth it. read more

This sandwich spot in Wasilla has your standard sub options. The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating if the upstairs area is open. The sandwiches are large and filling. They also make a small selection of cookies and baked goods that are good. I'm not sure but it seems like they make their own bread onsite. There are lots of old pictures of the town on the walls. They seem to have won many Best of the Valley awards so that should be an indication of their popularity. read more

Krazy Moose Subs - Menu - Sandwiches Near Me - Wasilla, Alaska

Expansive menu and generous portions in a cool historic building! Our family of 7 ordered multiple options from the menu and were each happy with our choices. Great place for fast but not fried food. read more

It's a sandwich shop but the food is good. The building is a historic part of Wasilla and adds to the experience. It's busy, a good sign. Closed on Mondays I believe, kind of sucks. read more

So good, so good! Krazy Moose not only has a lot of charm in the building, the food is fantastic! We ordered and grabbed a table, the food was out very fast. I tried the cheeseburger sub and it was amazing! All the awesomeness of a perfect burger on some of the best sub sandwich bread I have ever had! All the ingredients were fresh and tasty, absolute perfection! I will definitely be back! read more

Great sub the service is great and friendly. They do not disappoint. Very clean nice place to dine in or carry out.

The subs were very good. Great ambience and the service was spectacular. I definitely recommend this place.

The subs some of our favorites. The chicken bacon ranch is one of their best. Try the meatball! Extra meat upon request. Bread is always fresh! read more

Turkey sandwich was ok, I didn't like that you don't get to choose what toppings you want on it and the bread was hard. I did like the environment and friendly staff read more

The fresh baked bread is the star of the show here! I ordered takeout at work 3 times in one week after trying it for the first time. I always go with the chicken bacon ranch add jalapeños. It never disappoints. The staff is always on top of it and work through the line quickly. 10 out of 10!!! read more

Simply a great sandwich shop. Eat here and support local small businesses instead of franchises.

I really enjoy a good sandwich or sub, and this place doesn't disappoint. I have tried just about everything over the years and tend to order a custom version of a turkey. Everything is always fresh and well portioned. The employees are always friendly and fast. The option to sit inside is nice as well, my only hang up is the price is a little high. read more

First time coming here, subs were pretty good. Just a regular sandwich shop. Not sure if they make the bread themselves or they get it somewhere locally. It is soft and fresh. They have lots of different kinds either hot or cold. Otherwise your average assembly line of toppings with fake American cheese and shredded lettuce. It's a pretty popular place and a good local business o support. read more

Friends of our recommended "Krazy Moose Subs", so took our family here eat when visiting from out of state this summer. The food was excellent food and the staff is great! Plus it was a hot summer day in the AK, so we dined outside. We definitely recommend this place. read more

I've never had a bad sandwich from Krazy Moose! My go to and FAVORITE is the BLT on Texas Toast , with extra bacon extra crispy! You will NOT be disappointed! Service is always with a smile and the crew is happy to please! read more

Really good subs! A little pricey but would go back to try their other ones. Do get their cinnamon rolls! You will not be disappointed.

Great local sub shop! They have the best cookies too. I used to love their cheeseburger sub when I ate meat, so today was my first time trying their veggie sub. It's very good! Love the pepperoncinis, banana peppers, and green peppers with the oil and vinegar. Super tangy and delicious contrasted with the cream cheese. I also love that they pepper their lettuce. I've ordered catering with them before for work too, and they have always been great to work with. read more

Krazy Moose Subs - Veggie sub. Loaded with ingredients! - Sandwiches Near Me - Wasilla, Alaska

I used to go to Krazy Moose at least once a week. I don't know if they changed ownership or what happened, but the quality and quantity of everything went completely downhill. Wilted lettuce, less cheese and less meat. Haven't been since and thank goodness for jersey mikes!! read more

Adorable and everything is home made Subs are full of meat They have an awesome secret sauce We ordered ten inch subs and could not finish. You have to grab a rice Kristy treat or cookie. Great place read more

Amazing cheesesteaks don't do their gluten free wrap though, nasty!! My grandson loves this place!

The bread was stale! We got a normal amount of food and the price was crazy! But to say, there were a lot of toppings. But the bread definitely was not fresh read more

Everything you want and more in a sandwich shop. The service was quick and friendly and the sandwiches were amazing. I had the pastrami and the steak and cheese because I couldn't decide. Bread made fresh daily, and it was amazing. Don't miss this place if you're in the area! read more

I've eaten at this place off and on again since they first opened. I've gotta say they're really not that great. I keep wanting them to get better, which is why I have eaten there at least once a year. The bread to meat ration in my opinion is off, meats are not that flavorful especially their chicken, vegetables always seem to be limp or wilted. Even their soups always seem to need more salt, which I'm normally opposed too. Now with all that said they've got a multitude of different sauces which is great, dining area is spacious with plenty of seating, they're in historical building, and their staff is great. read more
