DON'T SUPPORT THIS WINGSTOP! GM COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU OR YOUR BUSINESS Placed $39.03 order plus 20% tip (assuming good service) on the Wingstop app on Friday evening, December 18, 2020 at around 10:15 pm for delivery from my local Wingstop (Battlefield Rd-Springfield, MO) location just .8 miles away because I didn't want to have to get out. BIG MISTAKE! Again, let me say, it was the WINGSTOP APP through which I placed my delivery order, NOT the delivery vendor's app. My local store took no responsibility for an unfulfilled order; blamed it on their DoorDash delivery vendor and did very little to even attempt to make it right. They said they had no way of reaching any DoorDash representative. Most disappointing, their largely absent General Manager (GM) didn't really seem to care at all about any of it. Here's the story: $4.99 drink was not delivered. Called local store; said they couldn't do anything about it; apologized drinks were not delivered. Asked to speak to manager. Asst Manager, D'Angelo, said he couldn't deliver drinks stating the missed delivery item was their delivery vendor's (DoorDash) fault. Manager didn't seem concerned even after I mentioned my food was getting cold (while on this 16 minute phone call) while he tried to figure out what to do. He offered to refund drink price. I told him I wanted the drinks; that's why I ordered them. He said he didn't know how to reach delivery vendor to have the rest of my order delivered and no one in the store could make a delivery. I gave him the two text phone numbers I received and the name of the deliverer, Taylor, and urged him to contact those numbers to reach DoorDash. He called me back and said he could not and credited my account $10 and suggested I "write a review for Google, Yelp or whatever online service I wanted to use." The other two men in my party laughed at the poor handling with one saying "that's why I told you we should order from Buffalo Wild Wings--better food, better service." I asked for follow-up from the General Manager (GM) and was told she would be in the following day. The next day I called the location. Beth, Assistant GM, took my call and told me she was informed of the situation from the previous night; she had made NO ATTEMPT to reach out and call me although she had my phone number. When I learned she was NOT the GM, I asked to speak directly to the GM thinking the GM likely has revenue accountabilities and would not want to alienate a seven year customer--never asked for a manager here before. But, I was terribly wrong! Beth informed me the GM isn't onsite often; Beth said the GM comes by randomly for just a few minutes a couple of times a week and is very difficult to reach. I asked Beth to have the GM call me the next time she was in. Three days after this event, Tracie, the GM, called me. Her response was uninspiring and clearly indicated how little she values customers or their future business. As soon as I identified myself, her first remarks were she was familiar with the situation and she would have done just as D'Angelo did. She never asked what happened and wasn't interested in my experience at all. When I asked if she'd like to know what happen, her response was "if you want to 'drone on' for 15 minutes, then go ahead." Frankly, she was dismissive of me as a seven-year customer but how would she have know that, she didn't even ask. Appalled by her frigid response, I suggested maybe I should post my experience publicly as her Asst Manager recommended and stop doing business with Wingstop on Battlefield Road in Springfield, MO. She said "that would be fine; go ahead." The store should have made every attempt to get the drinks delivered when I called in. Instead, they blamed their "unreachable" delivery vendor for an order placed on their own WINGSTOP APP. At minimum, my full order should have been refunded w/ an apology for the poor service. At best, the Asst Manager could have refunded the ticket and had the complete order re-delivered or a gift card sent out for the purchase price of the order. read more

This place has gone to shit. I walked in to get a doordash order, on of the employees was yelling when I first got in. Cashiers were on their phones and did not have their hair up like they should have and one cashier even had her shirt tide up like she was on spring break. Took nearly 30-45 minutes to get a doordash order. Clearly whoever the manager is there now doesn't know really how to be a manager. Very disappointed. read more

Love Wingstop. Hate the service at this location. Last time we went, placed order ahead of time, arrived at location 5 minutes after order was supposed to be ready, told it was almost ready. Around 30 minutes later, we ask what happened to our order and are told they are the bags that have been sitting right behind the counter for about 15 minutes. This after multiple staff people looked at the bags, us, and our ticket. There was no apology for this, which I think might have been the worst thing that happened. I ordered online then showed up to pick up and witnessed line cook sneeze onto his own shirt and pants then immediately proceed to continue to cook and prepare orders with bare hands. Did not clean off his face, did not wash his hands. The snot was large enough projectile to see from 20 feet away where I was standing. Another employee also watched him do this and said nothing. This was over the top against hygiene protocol and very disrespectful to anyone's health. As a woman, we crave a lot of things throughout our time of the month. Chocolate, wine, peanut butter, but my top craving is WINGS! Wingstop is probably my favorite chain establishment for satisfying my cravings. You should know before I go any further that I absolutely love hot and spicy food. I could eat jalapenos out of a jar on a daily basis. So, with that in mind, it is really hard to find wings tossed in hot enough sauce for me that aren't under a heating lamp. Looking at you, Buffalo Wild Wings. There used to be the Wingshack in Springfield... and there is still Coyote's and Harbell's. (Harbell's isn't that great at all. Kind of sad actually). My husband and I started coming to Wingstop when they used to publish free fries coupons in the Money Marketplace ad. I traditionally order the Hot or in season, Mango Habanero. He orders the Mild or BBQ. FYI: He doesn't like spicy food, or hot sauces in general. We share an order of fries and one thing of ranch. We can eat here dinner here for about $16, which is cheap. This last experience I had a coupon for 5 free Chili Lime boneless wings with any wing purchase. We ordered enough for lunch the next day, but man, I did not like the Chili Lime. Maybe it is just me, but I felt like I was eating a pouch of Taco Bell Taco Seasoning. They were not fantastic. We also think that even though the wings are made fresh to order, which can take anywhere from 9 to 20 minutes, that this location needs some TLC. On a friday night, there was a line of customers out the door, the phone was ringing off the hook, and only one employee handling both the line and the phone. That sucked for both the employee and her stress level and of all the customers, waiting to find a table after placing his/her order. Overall, we like Wingstop. I love wings, so there's that. I wonder if you guys should expand a little. Last night before the Cardinals game, we called in our order and it was going to take 30 minutes. We ordered anyway because we LOVE your food. Your kitchen was hopping. Nobody was being sluggish or lazy. Demand was just high for wings before a baseball game. But if this happens all of the time, well, maybe expansion would be a good idea. This place has the worst service. I ordered my food and was told it would be 18 mins. The place was empty when I ordered. Then a few people started coming in and ordering. After 15 mins I'm seeing the people that came after me getting their food. I wait another 10 mins so a total of 25 mins and ask where my wings are. Easily some of the best wings in town. Forget nasty Hooters or the "wings" that come with delivery pizza. If you are a chicken wing fan, then this is the place. The menu is fairly bare bones. You have your wings in increasing order count. You have the sauces. You have fries with three different seasonings to choose from (lemon pepper is my favorite). You can get tenders or chicken sandwiches. Sides are baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad and veggie sticks. I've eaten here three times now. I've had lemon pepper, BBQ, atomic and Hawaiian sauces. The BBQ is sweet and smoky. Lemon pepper is great. Hawaiian is mostly sweet with a little spice (very little). Atomic is pain. Each wing brings a new wave of horror, sweat and panting. I like spicy food but Atomic is quite much. So if you like hot wings, there are "normal" hot wings. No need to go Atomic unless you like being in a world of hurt while you eat. One last thing of note, every piece of chicken I've had so far has been juicy and 100% white meat. Enjoy. read more

They weren't horrible wings by any means but definatly not the best in Springfield like I had assumed from the previous reviews. The wings were cooked well (some crunchy bits on them which I liked) but there wasnt anything wonderful about the sauces (I especially didnt like the BBQ ones...) I waited 30 minutes and went inside only to find out their system was down and they didn't have my order. "If you have cash we can cook your order now". There were numerous people waiting in cars outside the store. Nobody thought to inform anyone that their system was down. Very poor management. The system being down was not my issue. Would be nice if an advance order meant the food would be started before you get there to pick it up. This happens almost every time. I order online I wait until I am supposed to pick it up. Called in our order around 9:15pm. They told us it would be 15 minutes. When we showed up a couple of minutes early they told us it would be another 20 minutes. We sat and waited for our food for 40 minutes. The service sucks and the worker came out to our car and told us to leave after we told them that the service was horrible!! Worst employees!!! The other reviews for this location do not surprise me. This was my 1st ever visit to this location and will most certainly be my last. I ordered online and was very specific about my wings being extra well done. When I arrived, they were not well done at all. A female working in the kitchen on 1/22/19, wearing glasses, argued that I did not ask for extra well done. I showed her proof in the form of my email from wingstop and she still argued and then told me they were done because they were 200 degrees. Why would you argue with me about the food I am paying for that I expect to be able to eat? Furthermore, my order was made again and I was still served wings that were not extra well done. I took them anyway, left and threw them away. No need to expect that I was actually going to get what I asked for at that point. She was so rude. We used to go here every time we were in Springfield. After our experience on 10-27-19, we won't make that mistake again. Our wait time was 40 minutes. We got our food 1hr and 10 minutes later. My son ordered the whole wing combo. What he got was pitiful. Hardly any meat on wing and the sauce on them tasted like straight up butter. He went to rectify it and the clerk giggled at him, but offered nothing to make it right. So, he ended up paying $17.99 for food he couldn't eat. The guy wiping tables kept going to a corner and vaping. His eyes were glazed over, like he was high. I watched as he took a basket of fries to a customer and ate fries out of the basket as he walked them over. A couple years ago I would have given wing stop 5 stars. Today I give them 2 stars because they changed. Wing stop used to be an awesome alternative to buffalo wild wings. Went to the new store on Kansas and I-44 and took 30 minutes for 10 piece boneless wing order. There was 1 other person in the store. Ridiculous! I don't think the kitchen knows what they're doing or how to get their tickets. Good wings, friendly service and a nice experience. Went here the other day with some friends from work and got the bone in cajun and the boneless bbq. I liked the cajun, it was spicy without being really hot. The boneless are ok but I'm not a big fan. I did like the crunch of them but I prefer the flavor of the bone in. Fries were run of the mill but the service was very friendly and pleasant. I will be going back to try the hot and the atomic. I do so love me some hot wings. read more

Awesome wings! Boneless wings are super moist and delicious. Louisiana rub is my personal favorite. My only gripe would be its a little expensive for the combo meals, but they give you a large amount of fries with the order so it all works out. read more
