Ordered 20 original classic wings to go with sauce on the side. They are just as good as I remember them! Happy to have this option available while we were staying in Springfield MO. We used to have a Hooters in West Des Moines, IA, but the location closed after a dispute with the property owner (or so it's been said)... I sure do miss those breaded wings! The food was good. We enjoyed the pretzel with beer cheese appetizer, as it was soft, warm and oh so tangy! I had a burger cooked to perfection and big enough to fill me up by itself which was good as the fries were just so so. The wife had the teriyaki wings, which look hideous, and remind me of some ancient creature which has risen from the deep in some dark forest to terrorize the local townspeople. She says it's really good though and demolishes them before they can inflict further harm upon my eyes. The reason for the two star review is the place was crazy crowded, as in we felt super uncomfortable being there and won't return. The waitresses all wore their masks incorrectly, and most of the patrons coming and going didn't use them at all. The whole environment felt super unsafe as people partied furiously in an effort to prove they are still young and alive and pointedly ignored the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic. I had never been to Hooter's before because I always assumed it was going to be full of gross dudes perving on girls in tiny shorts while shoving wings in their faces and there was just never a very good reason to go. Now that we live in the suburb of all suburbs and were looking for somewhere to go watch Monday Night Football, Hooters popped up and we decided it would meet our needs of cheap beer and big TV's. This has now become our go-to for football watching on Monday and Thursday nights. The first few times, we stuck to beer only. Then we graduated to trying the wings and some fries. I'm not a huge wing person, but I'll admit they were good and paired magically well with my giant $3.50 PBR. We always sit at the bar and are generally served by Lauren who is consistently awesome with making sure our glasses never go empty. I'm happy to say that my assumption about it being full of creepy dudes was wrong. Every time we go I glance around and can say that it's a good mix of couples, dudes, ladies and even families. It's pretty much like Red Robin with terrible outfits (seriously, the white sneakers are the worst) and delicious wings. All I can say is get your food to go unless you have a group of four or more or you plan on kicking back some pitchers of beer. I love hot wings! They have really good wings, I personally like the five mile island. I have been to this Hooters many times and the food has always been top notch. The dine in service on the other hand is by far the worst. The girls focus all their attention on bigger groups and people who are drinking, safe to say it's most likely for the tips. If you are a party of two or three good luck. The last time I ate in, I waited almost an hour for my wings (not the waitresses falt). After being served a large plate full of wonderful wings, our waitress spent her time talking with the bartender, flirting with a college age group of beer drinkers, and flat out disappeared for a while. Thirty minutes in I've been out of tea for over ten minutes with a mouth full of hot sauce. I finally had to stop a different waitress to ask for a refill. She said no problem, then was promptly back in about 20 minutes. It wasn't until about 15 minutes after we were finished eating that I went to the bartender again to ask him if he could let our waitress know we were ready to leave and had not seen her for a long time. She came out of the back a few minutes later with the check all smiles. Any good manager would have been on top of all that. I still love the food just will never eat it there again. Order your food an hour in advance and just pick it up. That's my advice. Take it or leave leave it. For the record ALL other Hooters I have been to have had wonderful service and I have been to many of them over the years in many states. read more

So my fiance kept raving about Hooters. He is from Florida and used to go often. We do not have one here in Reno. I decided to surprise him and on our way back to Reno from Arkansas we flew out of Springfield and they have a Hooters. It was about 8:30 on the Monday before Christmas and I was surprised how busy they were. Our Hooters girl was Chloey and she was amazing. Friendly and great service. Yes the wings were that good. We need a Hooters in Reno. I had the roasted wings garlic parmesan but also tried his Hooters style medium hot. He also had the honey sriracha that we both agreed were the best. We also chatted a bit with a manager Kevin who was great and pretty knowledgeable about Hooters in general. (thanks to Kevin for suggesting the honey sriracha) My overall experience for my first time was amazing. We will for sure stop in on our next trip this spring. read more

My favorite place for a good burger cooked to order. Not many places will actually cook you a rare hamburger, but this Hooter's will. I drive over 70 miles just to eat there when I can.
