When I went in to pick up the food, it took 10 mins to be acknowledged even though a few employees saw me waiting at the desk. Anyway the sad thing is the food was not good. Ordered the French onion soup which they had been known for and it was so disappointing. My husband ordered fish and chips. It was fair. The ahi tuna appetizer was inedible if you like seafood. The sauce they put on it was so salty and sweet and overpowered any flavor. The "crispy" fried won chips were put on top of the food and soggy. Maybe there were no managers on site but I didn't see anyone concerned with the business. Just wasted $50.00 and going to bed hungry. Place looked nice for drinks but think twice about the food if what we had is any indication.

There's enough variety that four generations of our family can all get something they enjoy. One visit especially stands out. I came once with my then 94-year-old grandmother during late lunch when it was still bustling. We had a bit of a wait for a table. Service was maybe slightly on the slow side, but understandable considering the restaurant was quite full. Honestly, we hardly noticed because we were enjoying our time together. What surprised us was that our waiter and then the manager came over to apologize for the wait and told us they would be comping our meal. We hadn't complained or asked for anything. It was an unexpected, generous gesture, and it impressed us. We thought it spoke volumes about how they think about their service and their customers. Writing this review made me hungry to go back.
