My family tried this Wings etc on the northside in Springfield Mo. Food was quick for being wings. Flavors and portions were tops. 4 out of 6 of my family members love wings and voted that Wings Etc is their new fave for wings. Service from Cheyenne was some of the best anywhere in a long time. She gave great flavor recommendations and was on it with keeping drinks full and attentive for a busy night. Also, love that game nights have wings for .79 cents and have TVs on all walls and most tables have their own to focus on. This review was for Sunday 10/06/24. I'll take pics the next time I go. The food is great, but the service is TERRIBLE. One time my dad and I went and the waitress came to our table and didn't even say anything... just stood there with her notepad and looked at us... I recently took mom and dad for dinner and yet again, the service sucked. The waitress threw our app on the table and never came back for drink refills. We sat there and waited for the ticket for 40 minutes and asked someone at the bar for it and they said they'd be right with us.. 20 minutes later no one came and we put cash in the table and left. Overall, the food here is great but the crappy service out weighs that. I'll probably never go back after the last couple experiences I've had. To top this all off, another couple came in and set to a table next to us, and they too left after not getting service. Came to Springfield to see the Fantastic Caverns and Aquarium with my wife and kids. We were staying at the Fairfield hotel and gave this place a try since they were not too far. We do not regret it at all. We got a 30 piece bone in wings. They had lots of flavors and my favorite was habanero. Food was made quickly and they even made up for their little mistake. This review is for the waitress Renee. At least I believe that's her name from the receipt, since she didn't want to talk to us and didn't give her name. The waitress with short dark hair, septum pierced, and superiority complex. If you don't want to wait tables, that's totally fine - don't be a waitress. We had a group of 11 come and eat. There were 6 fourteen year old boys, 1 eight year old girl, and 4 adults. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, everyone was on their best behavior. We all acted exactly like we should - like we were in a public restaurant. That means there wasn't yelling, throwing of anything, spills, messing up the area, nothing. The second Renee saw our table she rolled her eyes and huffed. No one bombarded her with orders or anything at all as we know we are a large group and didn't want to confuse anyone. Took her 10 minutes to come and take drink orders, and when she did, she first asked how the check would be split. Now I know that can be overwhelming to have 5 checks but we waited until she called on us to clarify so no one was yelling at her and overwhelming her. This is important because this woman acted like we were the worst thing to ever happen to her. She never made eye contact with anyone or would look in their general direction when asking them anything. She was overtly annoyed that anyone was there and dare expect her for service. When someone would try and ask or say anything, she would ignore them or shut them down. Aren't waitresses working for tips?? Anyway, she took our drink order and gave an attitude when someone asked if they could add on another beverage. Just a "ya I heard ya" from over her shoulder as she walked away. When she handed them out, she would quickly disappear. When she came back for food orders, she again acted exasperated and bothered to even take the order. One person had a question about the menu and she answered in a tone that showed she could've cared less about being helpful and that we shouldn't have bothered her with a question. She was never around. When we got our food, we were missing a few things and when she was politely reminded she would leave without saying a word and then bring it out without making eye contact. 3 adults ordered drinks from the bar and they each sat for more than 10 minutes before they were taken to the table. For the second and only additional round of drinks, the manager had noticed we were looking at them and asked if we needed anything. We politely asked if they were our drinks and he was able to verify and then gave them to us. We didn't say anything rude about waitress because we were hoping it would end better and to give her a chance to end on a good note. Stupid idea. At one point, one of us went to the bathroom and could hear her talking crap about our group to her coworker. No bullshit. She was talking smack about our group even though we did NOTHING to her or overwhelm her in anyway. When she gave us our checks, she basically tossed them our way and then told us we could leave out the side exit instead of the front door. Basically saying "get tf out" and then she walked away. At this point, I'm heated and ready to match her energy but I took the high road and still gave her a 20% tip. Still so mad at myself for that, she deserved nothing. We were never rude, disrespectful, entitled, or bossy towards this waitress. If anything, everyone was trying to be overly nice and walk on eggshells around her because she seemed pissed off by our presence. Because of her, I won't be returning this establishment. Renee, your job is to be a waitress and wait on people. If you don't want to, then please find another position. No need to make people feel like shit just because we came to the restaurant. I hope the owner reads this and does everyone a favor, including yourself, and dismisses you because that was total bullshit. Treat people how you want to be treated. Just flew in from Memphis and we were staying the night before we flew over to Kansas and then back to Colorado. Wanted to grab some food and beer and this was a short walk from our hotel. Easy. Lots of parking outside. It wasn't a busy night so we were seated quickly and given menus. I could see they had a host stand setup with indoor seating for those busier nights. Plenty of tables and booths so solo, quick lunch, to go, date, or family gathering wise this is a solid option. My classmate opted for some wings and a beer, I grabbed several appetizers and a beer too. The menu was your normal "bar food" but I wouldn't let the decor throw you off. I wouldn't say dive bar, but you certainly don't need a shirt and tie to stop in here. Music was going but not too loud. Sports were on several of the many televisions too. Real laid back. Our orders were taken quickly. Beer came first and a short time after our food. Everything was cooked well. Prices were fair too. Read a number of previous reviews and it seems this spot gets a lot of hate. I feel like as advertised from the inside decor and outside signage this bar/restaurant delivers what was promised. As a pilot staying in random towns, sometimes all you get is Applebees. Maybe a Buffalo Wild Wings if a town is a bit larger population wise. This was par for the course and had some local/unique character. When you just want a beer and some fries. A burger and a whiskey and coke this is a solid option. Right off the highway too, not far from the airport, and surrounded by several hotels. If you're driving by or staying within walking distance I would certainly stop in for a look. read more

I personally am not a big fan of that, but My friend enjoyed them . We all ordered wings ( see the name) I ordered a simple BBQ sauced wing. My one friend ordered a "hot Barbie " flavored bone in wing. This was described as a barbecue with a zing flavor. My other friend ordered boneless buffalo wings. The wings themselves are fine. Order them naked if you order them. They put entirely too much sauce on these wings. The barbecue flavor was fine. Nothing extraordinary. The Hot Barbie was buffalo sauce and barbecue sauce combined together. It was disgusting. My other friend with the boneless order entirely too much sauce on his as well. I inquired with our waitress if it was common that these wings always get this amount of sauce and she acted like it was completely normal. I had to clean off my wings with a paper towel. I would think that you would make sure people knew this before they ordered wings. We ordered 20 bone in wings and could only ate 7-8 of them. Today was my first day in Springfield and after a long ride I was hungry. Wings Etc was right across from me and I'm not the one to turn down wings so I went over to check it out. I ordered takeout but they offer dine in as well with a pretty stocked bar as well. I ordered 10 Traditional Wings w/ Buffalo sauce ($14.49), a side of fries ($6.39) & another side of Mac'n cheese ($3.19) for a total of about $24/$25. Given it's Preseason for Football I noticed a good crowd of Raiders fans so I'm assuming this is a spot for Raiders fans to come watch Raider football as well. It took about 15 mins for the order to be cooked and brought to me and I was on my way. Once I settled to eat I noticed a few things. The container the Mac'n cheese came in was almost as small as the container the ranch came in. I was unsatisfied with the amount of Mac'n cheese I received for the amount I paid along with the taste all together. The texture was very light which I'm assuming is because of the type of cheese used and it was not thick either. Very watery. Next, the fries were amazing but again the portion was very unsatisfying. The fries came in a small container by themselves and for $6 I would've expected the container to be filled to capacity but it was the complete opposite. That was the most disappointing part of my meal. However, the wings didn't exceed my expectations but they were good in taste and size. They were big enough to be ordered by themselves and also get you full. The Buffalo sauce wasn't really spicy but it was spicy enough for you to tell they were Buffalo wings. Overall I did eat everything but if that's all the fries I'm going to receive when ordering then I'll probably just go somewhere else. Or I'll just order wings next time if I decide to go back. I've been here a few times. Never tried the wings. The pretzel bites and cheese sauce is good. The quesadilla is good. I'm gonna try the nachos soon as it looks good. However don't go for the burger. Too small for the price. Almost couldn't eat it because way too salty. That's all I could taste. And the fries were limp and tasteless. And the waitress and bartender disappear for long periods of time. Just a little clue for the management. It was a little weird that they weren't "tossed" but rather "sauced". But a quick little flip in my tray and they were effectively tossed, nbd. We ordered 24 wings, two orders of Cajun fries and a kids chicken tender meal. I spent about $50 total. They do up-charge for bone in wings. We tried garlicky Parmesan, korean, hot honey garlic, and Jerk. All flavors were great. The Korean wings are the true winner! The wings were crisp with lots of sauce! Fries were pretty good too. Was with a few people yesterday and once again took forever to get service, then both boned and boneless wings were just about cold and the boned was rubbery and old tasting, requested silverware and it was brought unwrapped barehanded with the actual ends that you touch the food with being the part that was touched, two mixed drinks that pretty sure had little to no alcohol in them. Decided to try the takeout since we are all under quarantine. They are still running the .69 wing deal, but ranch isn't included; you've gotta pay an extra .75 cents for that. Lots of people complained that there was too much sauce, but I feel the opposite; I thought it could use more. We got 3 flavors; teriyaki, garlic parm, and kickin Asian. The teriyaki was by far the best flavor. I didn't feel like the wings were very big, they also tasted like they came from a freezer bag; didn't taste "fresh." We ordered them well done, and they were but to the point of being dry. I really wasn't impressed with their wings, or sauces and their wings are definitely low on the list of "great wing spots." I really don't see myself going back there unless my go to spots were closed, and that's like 5 places above this one.
