My experience with Wingstop was absolutely AWEFUL. I placed an order over doordash before the cutoff time of 11:30. After the order saying it was one minute away for 30 minutes we called the store for them to tell us that the doordasher didn't pick up the order before 12:00 so they couldn't do anything about it. As a manager of a restaurant myself I know that this is unacceptable behavior for a restaurant. If a customer had ordered over $37 worth of food BEFORE CLOSING the restaurant should wait until the order is picked up. Or at least try to contact the customer or doordash to inform them that the restaurant is closing and issue a refund. Instead, we were treated by rude employees over the phone when we called at 12:30 telling us that it was "our problem" and that because the dasher didn't pick it up before 12:00 we could not get the order. We then asked if they could leave the order outside as we ALREADY PAID and we could come pick them up and they told us no because "if someone were to mess with the food they would be respobsible". I'm sorry but at 12:30 in San Clemente who is going to fuck with the order outside of Wingstop? No one. The employees were rude and when asked for their name they responded "Nancy". While at this point we fully believe the employee gave us a fake name because she knew a bad review was on the way, we are absolutely appalled at the behavior displayed by Wingstop's employees this evening and will not be returning. The least the employees could have done was been polite and offered us to contact doordash for a refund instead of telling us we were shit out of luck. I would like to be contacted by a manager very soon as this was beyond ridiculous. read more

Was driving back to SD from Disneyland made a pit stop here. First off, the bathroom was amazingly clean, fully stocked, and out in the open so you didn't have to ask anyone where it was. I ordered my usual: mango habanero/Hawaiian with well done fries. Then I changed my mind and wanted bbq and the worker (Daphne) offered to change it for me without any hassle. Food came out absolutely fantastic, fries were a golden color and crunchy but not over cooked, wings were meaty and perfect batter/sauce ratio. So, once I ordered boneless wings, I ate about 3. My stomach started hurting really bad and I didn't think much of it. I woke up at 3-4 am and my ass exploded in the toilet. Twice. Then I woke up in the morning and threw it all up. Last night, I decided to give it a second try. I got bone-in wings. They didn't even put the hot sauce on the wings,they put a tiny bit at the bottom of the tray/paper. They also did not make my wings well-done, as I requested. No seasoning on the fries either. I ate 2 and a half wings until my stomach started feeling this pain I have never felt before. My stomach hurt for three hours until I fell asleep. I've never felt so shitty from eating something. Took a couple of mistakes for me to finally write something. I ordered online for carry out, I get there, first they say they don't have my order? I show my order and it ended up being there? Then I come home and they missed my order of fries? Was too tired to drive all the way back over some fries. Whatever. I order delivery a couple days later. Not only was it 1hr and 30mins. When the food finally got here it was all cold. I don't understand? Going to try and avoid this place from now on. These are the last couple times they've messed up, I have more ever since I started coming here, but the cold food and the long wait was really upsetting. Especially since I was shorted a couple days prior. Also, I don't think they read the tickets or anything. I ALWAYS ASK FOR EXTRA SEASONED FRIES. THEYRE NEVER SEASONED. EVERY SINGLE TIME. In my mind this place provides a pretty good environment to eat wings. Went here to hang with some friends and watch the Laker game. Wings were alright I tried a variety of their flavors. Nothing was outstanding but they are just wings. I'd go here over Buffalo Wild Wings any day though. BWW is where you go if you want the same wing flavors, more TV's, a bar, and the obligation to tip and overpay. I personally liked the hotter and spicier flavors at Wingstop over many of their competitors, but the other flavors were often too salty for my taste. read more
